Today was a really fun and busy day. The night before, I was playing Dota with Ian and his friends. They are just too 'pro'. Anyway, I played till the next morning until it was time to leave for my dental apointment. The appointment was at 8am.

It was raining damn heavily in the morning. I noticed that it only started to rain around 6.40am. Thats usually the time most school kids go to school. That sucks! Unfortunately, I had to go through it, in the comfort of my Dad's car. This was what it looked like from inside.

During the dental, they couldn't go along with whatever they were supposed to do. Apparently, according to the X-ray, theres something somewhere in my mouth, a 'tooth-like' structure that will affect something. 6 months ago, I took an X-ray. Now, I had to take another one, and guess what, it was bad, or rather it 'looked' bad, as in not so good. So I have to wait another 6 months before they can do what they want to the calcium in my mouth. After the appointment, I accompanied my Mom to the market to get the stuff for my sister's party. It was still early so I went along with her. I missed going to the market. So many interesting things over there. I went to Tiong Bahru market. It was newly renovated a few months ago. It looks bigger. I still preferred the old one. It had more 'market-atmosphere'. We took a cab back home and it was still EARLY.

I was going to meet the guys to go Wild Wild Wet. The weather didn't look too good though. It was still pouring, but not that heavy. Daus reached first. WOW! Once in a lifetime! I told them to meet at 11.45am. To them, thats 12.35pm and maybe later. I don't know whats with them. They seem to have a problem with punctuality. Its a real waste of time waiting for someone because he decides to turn up late. If 1 person waits for 5 mins, it 5 mins gone. 3 people waiting for 5 mins, thats 15mins. With that time, I could go watch a display of the fireworks festival! Everyone eventually came except Ruz and Ian. We called Ruz many times but he didn't answer his phone. We all guessed that he probably went back to sleep because the weather was really good to sleep. IAN! That GUY! Just because of a little rain! Come on! Will it kill you to bring along an umbrella? You will still get wet eventually right? All six of us were supposed to go, but IAN decided not to come for some 'reason'. Razi woke up somehow and called us 5 mins after we boarded the bus. He said he will meet us there. I knew I could ALWAYS count on Ruz. If he says he will be there, he WILL be there, even though hes late, but he still COMES!

We waited for Ruz at the Pasir Ris interchange and he came shortly after we arrived. Over there, we felt like 'outsiders'. We were all from the central area and the people around us were probably from the east side. It was just a funny feeling. The weather was like this. Not too 'good'...

We got a quick bite before heading in to Wild Wild Wet. At the counter, I met Joseph and Yaling. The next thing that happened was sheer LUCK. There was a group of guys infront of us purchasing the entry tix. After they got theirs, they asked if we wanted a voucher. Surprised and delighted, we joyfully accepted it. It was a $20 voucher. Using it and purchasing a family package, every subsequent adult ticket purchased is only $8 instead of $12.90. COOL! So we only paid $29 for our entry, including 2 lockers, $4, and the 2 pictures we took at the photo booth, $16. Total amount each person had to pay, $10! That was DAMN worth it! We played till around 6.45pm.

We had lots of fun. The weather had cleared up. We managed to take every ride, multiple times, without waiting in the queue for a long time.

We had dinner at Burger King after changing . Try the chocolate sundae pie. Its GOOD! At BK, there was this group consisting of a guy and 2 girls. The chinese girl was probably with the guy. The other girl, however, whether Malay, Eurasian, Chinese or whatever, kept looking across to our table. Then it got us wondering who she might be looking at. Ruz, Dan, Daus or me. March was out because his back was facing her. Ruz kept turning around to get a glimpse of her every 20 seconds, so he wasn't kept unnoticed, though his back was facing her too. HAHA! Eventually, we left before they could come back from wherever they went.

It was a long ride back to Bishan.... Everyone was shacked, especially these 2...

After reaching back at Bishan, we all went back home FIRST, to get our laptops and meet again at 10plus for Dota and CS. Yeah! We played till 3 plus only... Guess the toll was too much for our bodies and we gave in in the end. March didn't join us as he was going off to Genting for holiday with his family. Have a safe journey March. 'Its the thought that counts'.

So thats about it....

I can't seem to be able to sit down for more than 30mins and concentrate on studying for my exam tomorrow. Its not that I don't want to, its that I can't. No matter how hard I try. Short attention span I guess. Thats why I'm here blogging.

My exam is at 8.30am tomorrow. I still want to watch my show at 10pm. That means 1 hour less to study. I was thinking of studying throughout the night till the next morning. That way, after my exam, which ends at 10.30am, I could come home to sleep.

Hopefully, I WILL be able to finish studying what I'm supposed to. I need to!

We went to celebrate Ian's Birthday yesterday. We were supposed to eat at some place in Marina Square BUT just couldn't decide on a place to eat. The WE consisted of Ian, March, Daus, Razi, Samantha, Zi Xuan and me.

Dan joined us only after where we decided to eat. We went to Jack's Place, then to Spageddies, then to Seoul Garden, Swensen's and finally decided on Cafe Cartel. We almost went to eat at some fast food restaurant. When Dan arrived, he asked where we were. I told him Swensen's when we were in Cafe Cartel instead. Before deciding on Cartel, we were at Swensen's, only thing is that they didn't have a table for 9. I still kept thinking we were in Swensen's. Dan foolishly went in Swensen's but couldn't find us. HAHA!

After we settled down, Ruz's friend gave us bread as Cartel has free flow of bread. Ruz was so 'excited' about his friend working there. HAHA! He was also 'excited' about Sam's friend Zi Xuan. She DOES look like Stephanie Sun. Thats what I think...

Ian and I orderded the Texas Pork Ribs. The portions were HUGE, and it was only $16! We were struggling with our food while the rest had already finished. Ruz's friend gave us a discount. YEAH! The total bill was only $90. Ian paid for it. Thanks Ian!

After dinner, we met Vincent at Esplanade and took some pictures. Heres some of them...

Ian took the first pic so hes not in it.

The guy who took this picture DON'T KNOW how to take pictures. So not centralised.

While Ian was telling the guy who helped us take the photo how to use his camera, he happened to take this shot of me. Ian's camera has 3 flashes. All 3 goes off before capturing the image. So, when the 2nd flash flashed, I did that action. HAHA!

John joined us later. We were heading to MOS to go clubbing after the pics. Sam wasn't feeling well so she didn't come along. They walked with us till Clarke Quay then took the train at Raffles Place. Luckily, they didn't come along...
We got in at 9 plus. $15 only. It was TOO early. So we went t walk around first. We saw so many 'barpoks'. HAHA! We even saw this fat ang-mo lady dancing. It was DISGUSTING.

We headed back around 10 plus. It was starting to get crowded. We sat around playing some games and got our drinks before heading down to the dancefloor to PARTY! We danced for about 1 hour plus or so. It was damn hot. MOS only had working class people. Not much chicks. All too old. HAHA! The songs there were good. No Ah Lians or Ah Bengs there, but a lot of OVER PROTECTIVE boyfriends. You can't blame us if your girlfriend(s) wants to dance with us and not you right?? HAHA!!

At about one plus, we decided to move to the R&B section. It was packed full. March and I decided to go get a drink, outside of MOS at 7-11. We didn't want to go back as it was rather late and I was a little tired. The others still wanted to go on dancing. They came out to get a drink outside as well as join March and Me.

They spent 30 mins deciding what to do. March and I had already decided not to go back but to go home. If Ian wanted to open his present, then we would hang around, but if he wasn't, then we would head home first. The guys seem rather unhappy that we wanted to leave. I don't blame them. Overall, I think its well worth the $15. $5 for my drink. $5 for the experience, and $5 for the overall thing, music and all.

March and I took a cab back to Bishan. As March was alighting first, he gave me his share of the cab fare, $6. When I reached my stop, it was exactly $12. That means he paid the exact half of his share. HAHA!

Today, I went to work. Still a little tired. I worked till 11pm. Surprisingly, today wasn't THAT crowded at all. Usually, Saturdays would be really chaotic. People who call at 4pm for dinner reservations didn't have a place at all. HAHA! We would be fully booked all around. For today, we were still fully booked, but it seemed less busy. Maybe I was just slacking more. HAHA!

Going to join Dan for Dota now...

Another wasted trip today! This time we spent 3 hours walking around the whole Ubi Ave looking for the Asics warehouse. Ian was like dying from heat and exhaustion. Actually I took him around just to tire him out so he can't struggle when we do stuff to him when we celebrate his birthday this friday. HAHA! Kidding. I myself didn't know where I was going.

I got confused between Aztech and Weltech. So we went to Aztech and realised it was a computer company. I somehow knew it was because my router's brand is Aztech. I went in anyway just to make sure. I was wrong.

We walked in circles till we saw this bus stop and wanted to give up and leave the place. Well, it was a FAKE bus-stop. It had no sign of the buses available. However, it was a blessing in disguise. While walking to the next bus-stop, I saw Weltech building. Then I realised that it was Weltech and not Aztech.

So we headed down to Weltech building only to be told that they have shifted to Ubi Techpark, which was where we came from before seeing the fake bus-stop. Ian reluctantly followed me back there. I was hoping to at least get what I came for after going through so much CRAP. We reached there and couldn't find it. So we went to the management office to ask for help. The stupid guy there was slacking his butt off! We ask where was 15 Ubi Techpark and he told us there was no 15. Only 10, 20, 30 blah blah.

We went round one more time searching for it again but it was no good. Ian needed to go to the toilet so while waiting for him, I noticed a phone number on the back of the toilet door. It was the number to contact if there were and problems or enquries. So I called the number. The same guy I asked for directions at the management office picked up the phone. I knew it was him because he gave me the same answer when I asked where 15 Ubi Techpark was. DAMN!

They probably shifted again. We went back to the security guard at Weltech who told us that it was at Ubi Techpark. He said they shifted out of Weltech about 3 years ago. I was WOAH! 3 YEARS??!! They had probably really shifted out of Ubi Techpark as well.

This time, I really gave up. Looks like I have to get it at Marina Square. SIGH! After walking around the sweltering heat, we desperately needed a ice-cold thirst-quenching and super refreshing drink. We went to the shop across the bus-stop to get a drink before heading back to Eunos MRT. It was SO REFRESHING!

We took 13 back as I could go home and Ian could go to school. The journey was rather long. We passed by Potong Pasir and I was hoping I might see her, but I didn't. It was probably too early as she end school later around 4 plus or something... I think.

Thanks again Ian for accompanying me all the way to Eunos and walking around endlessly. At least I learnt something. Asics ain't there anymore. Eunos is damn HOT! Ian is a GOOD friend. There are fake bus-stops in Eunos and theres bus 13. HAHA!

Today I met Dan to go buy spikes. My old pair was worned out and my coach kept telling me to get a new pair. I got the cash, so I was going to... today. My first stop was Changi South. It was a wasted trip. They only did wholesale there, that means, I couldn't just buy 1 pair, but I had to buy in BULK.

SO... we headed down to Tannery road, somewhere near Macpherson to see if the warehouse that Dan bought he spikes from was still there. Once again, a wasted trip.

The guy at the Changi building told us to go down to the mizuno shops to go get the spikes. I think they had the goods there but just didn't want to entertain me. Hope he gets FIRED!

Then we headed down to Paragon. They had the spikes there but it was just too expensive, and they didn't even have the latest models! I could get it cheaper at Queensway, though still quite expensive. Next, we headed down to Marina Square to check out the other mizuno shop. It was the same...

We had Carl's Junior for lunch. The first time I went there, it was really crappy. Surprisingly, this time it was rather good. We were damn full. Well worth $7. We walked around Marina for awhile before heading down to Penisular. The Asics shop at Marina had the other pair of spikes I wanted, but I thought I check it out at the Asics warehouse tommorrow first. I might get it at a cheaper price.

Penisular was ok. It had a few spikes but wasn't the ones I was looking for.

What a total waste! Hopefully I'll have better luck tommorrow.

I finally have time to blog. Projects and all

FRIDAY

I had a busy day. I had to finish my mechanical design UG project. Apparently, some guy stole my files and used them as his own. He still had the cheek to come and ask me for help. I re-designed my parts all over again. If our parts were the same, the teacher would fail you. So everyone's dimensions had to be different. By 2pm, I just managed to finished designing all the parts. I had 2 hours before my programming test. The test was alright.

After the test, I went back to FAL to complete my project. Thanks again Jiayuan. You are a true friend. He helped me along the way. I finished around 8pm. I took about 2 hours. This was the first time I stayed so late in school for academic reasons. I helped a few others with their project. Theres this one guy, he followed every word I said. When I wasn't there, he couldn't do anything by himself. I showed him the steps a few times before he could do it himself. HAHA!

I was supposed to accompany Jiayuan to AMK. On our way to the south block, we saw Dev and the rest. If JY didn't stop to wave at them, I wouldn't have went with them. HAHA! He followed us in the end to YCK. Sorry dude. Thanks again for your help.

SATURDAY

WORK WORK WORK! My schedule was a little weird. I was supposed to start at 12.30pm but I came down at 12pm. It didn't matter to me. It just meant that I will earn more $$$. My next shift was at 5pm to 9pm. I end 2 hours earlier than the rest. HAHAHA! After I changed, I managed to catch the fireworks. I had a good view from my workplace. The Padang field was filled with people, the far side.

I joined Ruz, Daus and Dan for CS later that night. I had prata with me from my workplace. I had to go home first to get my laptop. I didn't know how to get out of the house again with a 'proper' excuse. I had a headache as well. Anyway, I did, with a few tricks of my own. We played till 3am. A record for playing outside. After that, I followed Dan to J8 to pay bills. I cycled around the whole J8 filming with my phone. The first floor where they had the fast food restaurants weren't locked. I thought I would be able to go up to the second floor but it was locked. TSK TSK!

SUNDAY

After work, 6pm, I went down to Funan to get my spray paint. I wanted to spray my bike. The suspension I was changing with my other bike was a bit rusty, but still worked. I spent 2 hours changing the parts. My back was aching after the whole thing. I had a few problems with the brakes at first, but after toggling around, I managed to get things done. I had the urge to play CS that night, but didn't call anyone as the next day was a school day.

MONDAY

Yet another project to hand in. Almost my whole class had completed the project. Everyone was playing CS in the FAL. WTH! The teacher got so fed up he asked all of us to leave before 1pm. As I haven't finished my project, I protested. It was unfair! His lesson was supposed to be till 1pm, but he asked us to leave at 12pm. Then he said to look for him at his office at 1pm when I finished. I did manage to finish it. Phew! Wouldn't want to retake Sem Pro again.

I practically idled the rest of the day at home. No one to have dinner with, no one to go out with. What a boring evening.

I had no school today. YEAH! I had a nice 10 hours of sleep. I had to go down to school for ISG. I was doing pole vault and running 4X100m relay. I didn't do so well in pole vault. I was second. The pole vault event was at 3.30pm. The sun was right over our heads! The mat was hot, the poles were hotter. The poles were so hot that it became stiff and bent less. We had to adapt to the sudden change. I changed pole and didn't quite get use to the bend angle. Thats no excuse. I got second, thats 'quite' good...

The 4X100m relay was worse! I was the first runner. There was a false start. The only event of the day with a false start. I kinda expected it. When we got down to the crouch position, we were usually given at least 5 seconds to get into position. We were only given 3. The next position, the crouching position should be 3 seconds, but it was 5! What the hell??!! When the gun went off, I knew straight away it would be a false start. So I just strolled out of the crouching position instead of sprinting off. The other 2 runners in front of me sped off. HAHA! When everyone settled down, I shouted to Guru that the command for the crouch was too fast and the crouching position was too slow. He scolded the guy doing the command. HAHA! The second time was ok, just that the crouching position was a little long. Good thing Ms Alsagoff trained me really well in reaction actions. I managed to get a good take off. I was the first to pass the baton among the other 5 teams. I managed to catch up with the guy in lane 6. YEAH! Fi and Zekai were fighting closely for the first position. Still, we were the first to pass the baton again to the 3rd runner. The formation for our team was a little weird. Usually, the last runner would be the fastest of the team. We jumbled up our formation and made the slower one the last one. We didn't have much to choose. It was up to the first 3 to give him the lead. Well, we DID give him the lead till the bloody baton dropped! URGHHHHHH!!!! It was between the 3rd and 4th runner. We were about 10m to 15m ahead of the second team when the baton was with the 3rd runner. Then the bloody baton dropped during the exchange with the 3rd and 4th runner. In the last relay I ran, the baton dropped during the exchange between the 1st and 2nd runner, this time it was the 3rd and 4th. URGHHHHH!!!! I was devastated! We still got a bronze though, but we would have gotten 1st! URGHHHH!!!!

So at the end of the day, I had 2 bronze medals and a silver. Sigh... Ian accompanied me through the whole thing. Thanks Ian! We met Dan, Daus and Ruz for dinner after that. We slacked till about 11plus then headed home. I wasn't tired though. Just really frustrated. WHAT A WASTE!
