It all started with a pair of tights...

Clara had a cute pair of tights that needed a brown skirt. I searched high and low and found no brown skirt. So I went to the fabric store and found some material and made up a three tiered skirt which turned out so cute I made a Halloween one and a fall-type one, and a purple one... then a friend of mine wanted one for her daughter and said, "You should sell these at a boutique!" And the senseless part of my brain thought "Yeah!!! I could do that!" And the not-so-senseless part of my brain said, "Uh...you are going on a big vacation in 2 weeks and you won't even be here for the boutique and that's a lot of work, so no, you shouldn't do it..." And so here we are, 2 weeks later, leaving for vacation tomorrow, staring at 16 (I told myself I'd only make 10) cute little twirly skirts of various patterns that did turn out quite adorable. Then, to add to my too-much-to-do list, I decided to make bows to match them all. Hope it goes well at the boutique! BTW, here are my shout-outs...because I am not the original twirlyskirt/bow creator. I looked online to find examples of twirly skirts and then tweaked them to how I wanted them. The bows however, are all credited to MELISSA!!! She sent Clara a bow for her birthday, and that's what I copied. Thanks Missy, do you want a percentage of the sales?

6 months too old!

We finally got Jack's eyes checked because he kept complaining that he couldn't see his crib mobile that well and sure enough, he needed glasses! Just kidding! The kids thought he looked cute as Jacky Potter

Just a little flashback...ONE MONTH OLD
And here he is all grown up! Six months already!? Why do I feel like I'm pregnant forever, and then in two sleepless nights, my helpless little infant is sitting up and grabbing and laughing and growing up way too fast?

Peanut Butter, Honey AND Jelly!!!

As of late, Henry has taken over making his own sandwiches for lunch. He prefers peanut butter, honey AND jelly and makes it all himself. He gets the bread, the PB, honey, jelly, even 3 different knives sometimes. And he always makes it JUST RIGHT.
Yes, sometimes the peanut butter is just one big glob at one end, and sometimes the honey is dripping all over the side, but man, it's a good sandwich and man, that kid is cute! He often reminds me... "Mom, I make great sandwiches, don't I? Because I'm the coolest guy ever!" Yep, you are...
