Is A small? Double A twice the FUN!

2711 marks many special event! birth of double A -2007 ! birthday of 2 friend -1985 n 1987. lasting my parent's 35th wedding anniversary.

Actually the baby was schedule to b born on 3rd Dec, so they can have the same day with their brother.. 3rd Mar.. anyway.. i think those two cant wait till tat day bah..

Everything was quite a mess on 271107.. From wat i know, my sis was reading book in her room, and suddenly the baby in the right, KICKED! causing the amniotic fluid or water bag (use to protect the baby in uterus) to burst! Ha. at tat time my brother-in-law was bathing and their maid was cooking.. she shouted n shout.. no one response.. so no choice she has to walk to the bath room to tell my brother-in-law..

so journey to Mt Alvernia hospital.. baby was born at 10pm plus..

By right, according to gynaecologist.. they shld look identical.. but my mum say they dun look alike.. i dunno.. to me.. all baby looks the same.

I'm been watching Heroes.. trying to get the dvd.. Cos I'm totally addicted to it. So exciting. And lucky tat wiki got the whole story n write-up of all characters in Heroes.. My favourite characters now are Hiro (manipulating time), Clarie (recovering from any injuries) and Peter (having all the heroes abilities).. Too Cool to B TRUE!

And seriously one week one epi was too slow.. Tv only at epi 4, while US are alr on Season TWO!

Fri went to tiger beer bewery at tuas , event was organise by my company.. not bad.. jus for $5 got 2-way transportation, free sandwitch n most importantly.. free flow of beer; tiger, Heineken, Baron's Strong, Guinness and ABC Stout. In the end, one gal drunk till cmi. think some ppl still take her video n pic.. -.- only till now, i den know tat tiger beer bewery not only brew tiger beer.. oso got Heineken too... lol.. i nv listen much anyway.. cos all our purpose is to drink beer at that time. hopefully next year i got chance to go again.

Yesterday, grandma's birthday and i acc dad to suntec to get a new phone during the starhub event.

I like my job! maybe its R&D type.. + sitting in office doing nothing, especially after my last Thursday assignment. But last week its so sian, when i see my colleague surfing net while my com can only access intranet. dotz.. wats the use of intranet? NO use lor. Den the only entertainment for last week was "kids central".. cos they r doing the dvd recording test.. erm... y kids central channel? cos they say it more colourful.. so can test more colours.. -.-.. no la.. think its the last phase of testing liao.. lol.. oso dunno wat they doing... anyway its not my problem.. I'm just waiting to watch other country channels. lol..

Yesterday, I finally fixed the network problem.. I can access to Internet le.. if not I'll be bored till SIAO, although now can surf net, i just feel sian... think i lack of maple ba.. lol.. anyway I hv been watching youtube, surfing my company webpage for product and going into maple forum since this morning.. eye so tired now.. Feel like playing maple maple!

i like my sitting n working area, cos its very strategic.. ppl cant see my screen de.. lol.. anyway nobody care... here got freedom de.. n most importantly, I'm not in the noisy area where there got lots of ppl n TV.. lastly this week i have no kids central to watch le.. cos they changed to Channel News Asia for testing..

The world of Entertainment

The moment I stepped into office, I’m surrounded in the world of entertainment. Wah.. I started to wondered, Am I really going to work in this environment? I saw all sorts of brand of tv n dvd players on our table and each casting all kinds of tv program or movie played from DVD. Dotz.. so noisy.. noise pollution lor.. and distraction i been busying watch show.. Anyway tats my dept job scope, to develop new video and multimedia technologies.

Haiz.. y im not working in a game development company hor.. lol.. den I everyday will b surrounded with games n games.. LOL..

Although its jus the 1st day of work, i had been given my 1st assignment… feel quite ok with it.. jus hope tat my workload wont b tat much and not too complicated for my next few months. haiz. worst part was, heard from two of colleague, last time they sit in office, shaking their leg for 2month doing nothing when they joined the company. lol.. envy them man...

Happy Birthday Mum!


Celebrating mum's 56th birthday. hee.. actually Today was not her actual day its on the 14th aug. but according to her, its her lunar birthday. so i order a strawberry cheesecake for her on saturday, im lucky enough to place an order in time. So since its sun everyone was at home, more ppl the merrier for the celebration.

just wanna wish her to be healthy, ping ping an an n cheerful all day long.... 福如东海，寿比南山 as for striking 4D or ToTo, they are optional. lol..

Last few day was having argument wif sis n bro-in-law. anyway for mum's birthday. i decide not to make things difficult for my parent. so still a happy family~ everafter! lol...

been waiting for zijia to give birth lei.. the doctor say its tml. but it will be nice to postpone to 14aug den will be same birthday wif my mum le. easier to rem mah.. making me feel so high n anxious. been standby-ing this few days le. lol..

Zoo day

When to the zoo in the morning, with dad, sis, bro-in-law n caleb. It my 1st time driving to the zoo. although during my NS, i have been driving ard mandai area. The parking fee was quite cheap, with just $4.90 for van/lorry n can jus park for wholeday. And I think its been abt 10 year, I nv go to the zoo with my family member le. But today got was a different experience, we got a new member, caleb n somemore it was his 1st zoo trip, but miss out mum n both grandma, lol.. cos they all prefer to stay at home.

lol.. but somehow bring children to the zoo was not easy. nid to carry all sort of things. frm trolley to milk bottle, pamper, wet tissue, milk powder n bla bla bla...

and nid to carry a children ard. no matter his awake or sleeping. anyway thanks to dad. lol.. he carry caleb the most.


anyway its a fun day. especially an outing with family, plus its nation's 42nd birthday!

Jus tat its too crowded to go out during public holiday. sian.. every where oso got ppl.

den meet the person tat wake me up early in the morning for lunch. den watch flashpoint at cathay. super action movie. all the fighting scene so.. so COOL. very nice movie, but i think the movie focus too much on action/visual so i felt tat "something" was miss out.

still wanna conclude, wearing XL doesn't mean anything rite? lalala... went arcade, jungle game was fun, photo hunt was fun n tiring.

dotz... today i took half day.. cos i got no work to do in the office.. guess tat i'll take off every monday... lol... Anyway had lunch with warin at bugis.. saw sunny n his friend too.. after my friend left I decided to watch transformer.. lol.. but too bad 315pm slot was full, so i can only watch the show at 415pm n its in 2k or 4k digital format la.. guess tat its the worst day for me... watch the show for less den 1 hr the whole cinema's sound system spoil.. so i only manage to see 2 robots, helicopter and radio.. haiz.. sian.. wat a low day.. after tat when home.. hope tat i'll watch transformer soon..

today i brought 39 used maple prepaid card.. justin brought 12. So the start of our quest for the in-game item.. n after 4 hrs we finally get the stamp from all 7 stations. n i won 10 meso to xchange a maple notepad.. so ke lian.. i saw ppl with hundred meso.. wondering how they play..

every morning, i'll wake up at 715 den left home at ard 755, reach office at 830+... den work til noon.. lol... n tats the best time.. at least can chat with so many ppl... den back to office at 1+... leave office at 530.. den wed n fri go for swimming with melvin.. sometime i'll do OT, til 6 or 8.. anyway jus wanna make myself busy tats all.. after i reach hm.. after bathe n dinner, i will start to play game til 12 or 2 den go to bed.. so there's no time to blog..

N finally i have get used to my working environment... n gets to interact more with my colleague.. n life is getting better in office.. but im still very quiet in office especially when im at my desk.. cos tat location makes me facing the wall.. allowing me to do self reflection.. den in front of me, placed a common printer.. so every time ppl will walk to my area to collect their printout.. lol.. but i always do my stuff without looking at them.. except for anne n qhody.. they will always come n talk to me while they collecting their stuff.. at least got ppl entertain me.. although i appreciate my place.. cos i dun have to walk to collect my printout.. not like others nid to walk at least 10m to collect their stuff.. but! im still in the most inner area of the office.. so i cant eat snake.. cant really late for work.. cant sneak out to buy teabreak.. or cant really leave early if i wanted to.. so Sian.... tats all.. 4X exp maple.. lol..

N this year's club intake was so power man... got more gals than guys..
As for this event, there's 19 gal n 1 guy frm year 1 man, therefore tat year 1 guy was lucky...

after work... so weird!! y no ppl wait for me... istz becos they know tat im going swimming? too bad.. today im not meeting melvin but going alone.. cos he nid to prepare for tml's meeting.. but i manage to catch up with them at the lift lobby at 1st i tot they r waiting for me.. den to find out tat actually outside was raining they jus came back to take umbrella.. -.-''

Morning was so qiao.. saw justin when im in the bus to work.. so make a lunch appointment wif him at paradic center. Den should b meeting melvin for swimming after work.. but end up meeting py at bugis junction cos there's a SHE album cover collection event and i was lucky tat the swimming was cancelled last nite.. cos melvin was sick today.. take care pal.. Went to meet py with hannah after work.. Ooo... people mountain people sea 人山人海！ too bad S.H.E. was not there.... n luckily they r not there if not, i can confirm there will be even more ppl... luckily py help me get SHE's album, so save my trouble to get it.. n with her friend there.. den can cut queue. So after 1-2 hrs of waiting, i finally xchange the album cover.. i get selina's cover, py's ella n hannah's hebe! i still feel tat ella's pic a bit weird..maybe i nv take a good look at it ba.. after tat py go with her friends, hannah went home, i too... went home.. so jus took bus 80 home lor..

4pm den rem tat i got a book was due today.. n I was SHOCK! to realise tat NLB fines me $4.50 as stated from the receipt, really wondering was wrong.. did i forgetten to return library books? hmm.. tonite must check it out..

So today's dinner was a special one.. cos its my very 1st time attending a friend's wedding dinner other than my relative or parent's friend. lol.. so it was my 处女作.. lol.. i used to see my relatives, being sabo by their friends in their wedding dinner, it was so fun... lol.. so i was hoping for tat during the dinner.. but too bad.. my click was not there.. end up doing nothing.. But luckily n at least lim teck was there.. got Baoling, liu qi n yueli.. they r some ppl i can talk to.. lol.. N was wondering where's yingwai!! Y u nv go.. tat time after exam.. actually rita wanna invite u n ask for ur address to send u the invitation card., but u went off too fast...

den the table still got leroy, chee qiong n one more stranger.. but all r frm NUS. so total of 8ppl n table 23.. so im giving out 4D num.. 0823

Office seems fine.. slackin for the whole mornin.. but at 4+ tons of work coming in, end up no one waits for me after work.. sob. weep.. lol.. lunch with justin at PS. went to return my due books at hg mall after work.. n borrow one more book, a very nice book, title "Born on a Blue Day". N den realise the fines have been increased again... -.-'' cos of the book i have jus returned. kao.. jus one day only still wan to charge me..... den now the fines was $4.65

CSS2 starts! yeah.. as for the result shawn was in.. expected man.. lol.. CHEERS!

Bro-in-law went back KL, so sis n caleb stay in my house..

Everyday start work at 9 den go home at 520pm, working was really a boring life... But i still prefer to work in HR.. at least at HR, got all the aunties to take care of me n no matter wat. im still the youngest wo.. n the task there was so easy n slacking, we still got time to chit chat.

But in Group & health, its so busy for me...especially for the 1st day on last wed... got 150 upgrading letter for to key in the database n print the ACK letter out. n its still my 1st day man... everything was so new to me can... how can they expect me to finish all.. n without telling me to finish them by 5pm.. As in HR its so relax.. if my task cannot finish on time, i can still do it on the next day... lol.. when i receive tat stack of upgrading form i was relaxing n doing it slowly... but at 4pm valerie came, telling tat in GH, task given must be completed on the same day.. so end up i nv finish it lor.. den went gym wif melvin..

Anyway... on thur n fri i speed up my work.. so at least i can finish them on time.. Den the most weird thing was on mon.. maybe i have enough rest on sat n sun ba... i finished my work in the afternoon wo.. lol.. break record... making me so free..till 520.. but as for tue.. its totally sucks... cos they know tat i finish my work too fast... they gave me more task.. SHIT them! I was totally hot! they keep on giving me more tasks...especially when near 330.. den gave whole stack of questionnaire, ask to me update n distribute to 2 person.. and the procedure was so long.. but manage to finish on time.. meeting py for movie, think im so unhappy was because, i worried tat i'll b late for movie.. n luckily... at least im not late for the movie.. watch Pirates of the Caribbean. think im too tired man... only understand some part of the show..

On wed oso a busy day too.. went swimming with melvin after work.

After 7days in company, today's my last day in Union House, HRD n finally get to know a "guy" friend... think he is a guy ba... cos i always saw him in male toilet especially during last week while im using the toilet... but we only started to say hi after my colleague asked for my name.. cos they r wondering, istz HOCK or hawk or hulk... in the end my name becomes xiao-di.. quite missed the name.. last time my "da-jie" called me tat...

Still rem last wed.. melvin oso join them while they r discussing abt my name.. so when melvin ask for my name tat time.. i jus said, call me "hawk" lor.. den jessy tell me, "dun play play with him arh... he controls ur pay de... must tell him ur name...", but i still insist of "hawk".. anyway tats how i know him... den subsequently saw him in toilet n seeing him chasing doc or reports frm my colleague.. & can see tat all my colleague dun like him... wondering istz his girlish or being ah gua.. i think he is a "nu ren".. but jus wondering y he can b so demanding... so I asked my colleague wat's his post, he was jus a clerk lei... anyway i nv talk to him until yesterday.. cos i borrow $10 frm him before i went hm..

Den today everything seems different.. especially when i returned him $10 den he asked me to join him for lunch.. but i turn down the offer.. cos i dun really know him mah n its my last day liao.. pointless too.. den dunno y my colleague keep telling me.. "nan de lei.. he nan de wanna treat u for lunch.." but i still insist dun wan.. but when im in the wash room, i saw him again... he jio again... but tis time with his/her friend joining us too.. so jus agree lor.. since invited 2 time liao.. den tell lily... but.. lily so bad... tell me.. "becareful, dun let ur mum see u wif him when having lunch". think is a sarcastic remark.. saying, how can i go out with an ah gua... they really dun like him/her... den ask me to pass msg.. ask me to persuade or tell him/her ""young lady" shld treat old aunties better".

den meeting Weiling at income centre at 12.. den went to bugis for lunch.. eat at sketches.. set lunch lor.. while eating.. from their conversation, i find tat melvin is quite a rich "guy"... buying diamond at lee hwa for him/herself... ordering two rolex watch for friends as birthday present.. n high n low.. left n right...many many stuff.. plus their office politics.. while walking back to office he jio me for gym.. mon, wed n fri.. n it has been confirmed... when reach office.. wah.. I become the spotlight man.. they ask me where did we go for lunch.. did he treat.. bla.. bla... i very blur..

A lame part.. lily said im the honey n his/her is the bee.. kao... damn cold can...
especially after the lunch, melvin seem to b very good mood.. den they say... all thanks to me.. make him so happy today... SO rubbish... they said till so ai mei... -.-" anyway.. of cos la.. they are jus joking la..

SRRR 2007

Meeting nick at clarke quay at 10am, as usual im late.. reach at 1040am.. cos last nite played too much game n sleep late.. think at 430am ba.. today went to singapore river to support my club, my friends & the river raft race.. When i reached there our raft had alr park at the starting point le.. and the other team's raft r alr loading to the river le.. lucky of me man.. cos actually the race should start at 1040am.. while im waiting for bus at busstop.. i called nick n joke wif him.. ask him to ask the organiser to postpone the race to start a bit later.. n ask him to snatch the mic or flag frm them in order to postpone it. but im jus joking la.. anyway i know its bull shit one.. where the hell will the race to start on time de...

YEAH!! improvement man.. SPENV gets 3rd position in the single race.. but since the scoring system was base on timing.. therefore our timing was not fast enough to b in the top 10 ba.. so we r not in the final. im oso lazy to go to check the actual positioning la.. but shouldn't b in the last few position. Anyway its still a breakthrough as last year when im the rafter, we r in the last 3rd position in the single race man.. as for the actual position i oso forget le, but i believe tat wont b the last few place too.. lol.. so paiseh.. but i can see the different, tis year's raft was more stable and can flow better... n oso this year's our rafter r all skinny type..

Anyway.. Its HIGH HIGH high today.... its so fun... during the race.. we will shout.. 1,2,3 BULL!!! BULL!! .. to cheers for our team... den after the race.. we oso hv "Yum Seng" session using the free milo frm the milo truck (tat was suppose for the EEE family members).. will upload the pic when i receive it frm Tat Hong.. i think got many "yum seng" sessions, one more was using 100plus.. den after all the fun, we wait for the lorry to send us back to SP. think SPENV got another event at 9th june, im going guess tat it must b fun.. lol.. den during the wait.. i receive an important sms, tat makes me feel... "nv had a dream come true" n "keep holding on", the theme song of eragon n my blog's song..
After waiting n waiting.. finally the lorry came, n right after we load up the raft to lorry n climb up the lorry.. Tat hong den tell us, we r on the wrong lorry, in the end nick, mingchun, Soon sheng, kenneth n me have to jmp down the lorry.. but ke lian de mingchun.. she wearing skirt today man... n she made all her way up to the lorry, den in the end needs to jump down again...

when reach SP, after settling everything, we went to clementi for lunch cum tea break.. after tat went home.. but before tat, i when shopping with my daughter, buying her sis's birthday present.. while walking, Boo called my hp telling me, regarding next sat's chalet.. cool man.. qi dia sat's coming.. lol.. at first i tot he jio me for pq or gq in maple man..

think i kanna a bit sun burn.. tml still nid to work... felt sian of such routine man.. jus one week i felt sian le.. cos everyday wake up at 645am.. work start at 830 end at 520... everyday same routine so sian... yeah tue last day of work le... done something incredible last nite.. sms out something tat i long wanted to said.. im still wondering y i have tat courage to sms.. but i still find tat im not good in expressing myself man.. Anyway after spending the whole day doing self reflection.. i felt tat im abt ready for new challenge..
although especially at first i feel tat i have lost all confidence n not ready for anything.. im ready im ready!
jus go with the flow.. hopefully will reach to a nice meeting end.. lol.. think to much.. +u for myself!!

Finally, Weekend coming, im working in the HR dept. Totally love my jobs a lot, is a slacking job but some kinds of fulfillment too. Make me realise tat "learning is one element of life", "there's no limits in learning", "learning nv stop, after we graduated", "in order to stabilise/create success in our career, we must constantly upgrade our self", "nv too old to learn", "learn as we grow" or "活到老学到老".

My job is simply invigilating the exams (be mute for 3hr), and those candidate are those in management level, got man, got woman, some r old, some are in their middle age n got a few r in their early 30s (envy them.. only 30+ they r in a senior post le).. .. but all having the same objective, to pass their exams.. to get recognise by the companies n get more promotions.. so its been 5th days le, i have conducted 8 exam session alr.. every session is 3 hr.. the least no. of candidates taking the exam was 3 n the most no. of candidates in the session was 10. Every time before the exam start.. i need to brief by reading out the exam rules, a very LONG winded stuff tat i have heard it in my EXAMS hall. N seriouly speaking.. the exam briefing in NTUC was much more longer compared to sch de.. but i felt shuang, doing this kind of rubbish stuff.. finally can invigilate exam le.. sitting do nothing.. oh ya.. sometime do some simple data updating while they r having exams lor.. but most of the time stone there or surf net.. BUT their stupid firewall or something.. block me frm going friendster.. It still got a time range de.. frm 8-6pm cannot log in to friendster.. & den im alone inside.. sometime its really quite boring.. however still consider lucky le.. at least still can go other website...

After the exam.. zap the exam booklet for next year referrences.. n zap the answer sheet.

But the 1st day of my job it was a total SHIT, but its not because of the job, its my shoe, i didnt know tat my shoe will be in such worse conditions.. as i walk n walk.. the sole of my shoe keeps dropping off pieces by pieces. I think the sole started to drop when i leave home le.. but its tiny bits.. The first paiseh situation, while i doing my typing test for my interview.. the cleaner auntie come to complain to me regarding my shoe.. dotz.. wondering how she knows the black rubber stuff r frm my shoe de.. The second paiseh situation, is when going home.. Bigger piece of rubber is droppig.. end up my shoe become.. bu xiang yang...

Making me so embarrass.. anyway i have bought a new shoe le..

oh ya.. jus curious n wonderin where have all the mans gone to... my office only got 5guys den the all r ladies.. think got 15 auntie n 2-3 young gal.. -.-''

N den after mixing with my colleague i finally ask christine to reserve jobs for me le.. maybe consider myself lucky lor.. working in HR..

Den on tue, they looking for ppl to give out flyers.. den is $6 per hrs.. so wed i tell hannah the good new.. and ask her to come for interview.. but so sorry lei.. i didn't know tat its jus 2hr a day.. n when u came for the interview, im invigilating exam.. so nv go n say hi.. lol... And no worries.. Christine had new assigments for us le.. secure another job liao.. but i still haven't ask for wat's the job scope, working hrs n the pay rate.. hopefully is in office de.. n it's whole day, not telemarketing can liao.. lol.. N more $$ too..
