It was the perfect day!

We we so grateful for all the friends and family who came to support them.

Both sets of Kimberly's grandparents were able to be there!

Grandpa Joe performed the sealing.

The reception was held at the Mesa Country Club.

And they were off.... the whole day seemed to be over in the blink of an eye!

6th Grade Field Trip to Sea World

 Courtney headed to California with all the 6th graders at Highland on May 7, 2014

She was excited to have her friends, Lexi, Bridget, Jaidyn & Shannon Teare in her group.

Their first stop was Scripps Aquarium.

 That afternoon they went to Sea World.

 

She was able to feed the sea lions after giving the correct answer to a question,

dissect a squid,

 sleep with the Manta Rays,

and watch the Shamu Show!

We missed her, but she had a great time!

April 2014

 Nine Cousins at Mountain View!

We decided to take pictures on the steps of MV of all these cute TOROS!

It has been so fun to have all of them at the same school.

And these four are graduating!  They are all headed to BYU!

 (Clark will wait until after his mission to Texas!)

 Matthew finished his Volleyball Season - it was so fun to watch him play!

He had lots of fans in the family! 

 Grandpa & Grandma were big supporters...

 as were Darrel & Michelle Hadder!

 He had lots of friends on the team which made it extra fun!

April 29 - Kimberly's Bridal Shower

Grandma Virginia hosted a beautiful bridal shower for Kimberly.  Anna made the invitations, 

Tia the cute banner, and Robin, Alison, Anna & Virginia the yummy food!

It was such a fun evening!

January - March 2014

 These last few months have flown by!

Matthew finished his freshman basketball season at Mountain View.

We sure enjoyed watching his team play, the JV team, and then Varsity!

 We also all participated in the first Toro5K (except Matthew who was at basketball practice).

It was ET's first race! 

 We all had so much fun we are planning on doing it next year - it was a great community event!

 We only had a couple of days to get away over spring break, so we headed to California. 

 We loved staying at David's place (again!!)  

We had hoped to go kayaking, but the waves were too big they weren't taking tours out. Instead, we played at the beach and then went to the Mormon Battalion Museum that evening.

 

The next day the ocean was calm so we headed out to sea.  The highlight of the trip was seeing a big dolphin jump out of the water just 15 feet from our kayaks!

 We got back to Mesa in time to welcome Kimberly and Katie home.  

We got right to work on the wedding...dress fitting, shopping, and engagement photos!

Less than a month until the wedding!

We had a wonderful time in Wickenburg with all of the Clarks.

Christmas

Christmas Eve

We love the tradition of getting together on Christmas Eve for dinner, carols, the reinactment of the Christmas story, and the cousin gift exchange.  

It was fun to see Carie featured in the newspaper Christmas morning!

 We had our traditional Christmas breakfast.

  It was extra fun because Grandma & Grandpa stopped by!

Then we opened presents with Grandpa Joe & Grandpa Jeanne via skype.

We enjoyed a beautiful Christmas dinner at the Clarks that evening.

We are so grateful for our family!

Basketball

Basketball has begun!

 The boys played their first game against Red Mountain on November 26, 2013.

They won!

 Their first home game was December 2, 2013. They played Boulder Creek and won.

It is fun to watch Matthew (#14) play on the Freshman team, Bennett play on the JV team,and Brittany cheer!
