B'DaY AnD DeStReSs

Celebrated Ee Wen's bday on Tuesday and that reminded me that i'll be 25 years old very soon in 2 months time. I tend to realise that as we get older, bday celebrations seems to be just a normal day which is not quite a day i'll be looking forward to. Maybe bdays nowadays tend to be a reminder for me that im getting old or rather mature and yet i have not achieve anything great yet.

Anywayz, invited Ee Wen to my hotel for the bday dinner at Melt Cafe. She was so excited about it cos she will be able to have her countless consume of the seafood. She has been telling me that she loves the buffet at Melt that's where i decided to treat her. As you age, it'll be a challenge to think what kind of bday present is best for your good friend or partner. So i guess if you are struggling thinking of what to give, it'll be better to treat them to nice restaurants with delicious food. In this aspect, it's really a bonus for me being a hotellier cos not only i'll get good food with nice ambience, but i'll be able to get 50% off as well at my hotel.

That's Ee Wen, my secondary school mate. We have known each other since form 1 and it's really a treasure for me that we are still in contact till now. :)

Moi

Basically there's quite a big range of different food items at Melt. From starter to seafood; maincourse to dessert. Every single dishes worth us trying and when it's time for dessert, we often feel very full and yet forcing ourself to still try as Melt is also famous for it's dessert.

One of the trend of us girls is to take pictures in toilet especially beautiful toilets in hotel. So there you are, some pictures we took since there's no one around.

After dessert, a little surprise for her. Loved the pictures i took for her with the candle's light effect.

Us with the cake :)

Another surprise that Melt uses to "WOW" their guests. A bday card with every staff's signature on it and an additional of the instant photograph which they took us with the cake.
That ends our dinner and im glad she likes the little gesture that i arranged for her. :)
Towards the end of the week, Ern, Bora and I had decided to meet up for a drink since it has been some time since we last club and destress. We meet up on Friday night and headed to Clarke Quay and then decide which club should we go. Bora sugguested that we should try out Double O which i heard about it before but have not check out yet.

So here we are at Double O. Thanks to Bora, not only the music is good, the drinks are super cheap as well. Per vodka redbull can easily be $S8 per glass but here at Double O, they only sell it for $S4. Although i feel that the place are all full of youngsters age between 16 to 22 but well i guess looks can be deciving as well cos the security guard tot i should be young and asked for my IC card. Hehe.......

Ern Ern looks like she's drunk....haha.... Both me and her got tipsy that day as we ordered few glasses and jars of volka to drink since its super d duper cheap. As for Bora, she seems to b very fine thou she drank a lot as well. Never mess with Korean girls as they are good drinkers...haha...

Bora looked so cute while she dance.

Thanks to Ern for all the nice edited pictures. Have so much fun and the crowd is not as bad as the other clubs. It was also my 1st encounter someone asking me for a one night stand. Ridiculously scary. Anywayz, one of the club i'll consider coming back and shin, if you are reading this, we might consider bringing you to this club next year when you are here on your bday and yes, we will all get drunk that night. Haha....
Till then, i'll pen off here. Gonna prepare for work tomorrow.

FoOtbaLL FeVer

It's football season and football fever is spreading everywhere. Be it Malaysia or Singapore, football fans were all so crazy about their beloved football teams visiting the country. Accompanied Vic to KL as he was so very excited to watch the MU VS Msia match last Saturday. Then today, joined banquet and was assigned to serve the Liverpool groups for both tea break and dinner at my hotel. Damn, i can't believe i am actually just 2 steps away from the players and oh my, it's really a good explosure to experience serving big shots. :) *Mood on cloud nine*

Anyway, coming back to my trip to KL. I did not actually join vic and the rest for the MU VS Msia match as i was not really interested in football. So, while everyone was away for the match, i actually meet up with my bestie aka soulmate for shopping.

That's right, it's Maxine, my piggy again. Meet her at Sunway directly after her work

We mingle, joke and shop around for nice clothes and heels. It's been some time since i do shopping and yes, i really do enjoyed it much. Pics above was taken while waiting for Max in the changing room. The funny thing is we window shop a lot but i didn't buy anything at all except for a BB cream from Etude House.
Had our tea break at a dessert shop. She had sesame and i had my barley with "fu zhu".

We hangout till 9pm plus and bid goodbye. It was such a great day hanging out with Max. How nice if we stay at the same area so that we're get to hangout more often. Miss gossiping and doing stupid stuff with her. :(

Meanwhile, the MU fans are having great fun at the stadium watching the match. Vic together with Kev, Siow Wei (Kev's gf), Jason, Jenny and Wayne (Jenny's bf) cheering for both MU and Msia.
Coincidently on the match day was also Jason's bday. A priceless gift for Jason as he LOVES MU super much. It is also a good opportunity for my visit to KL to help Jason celebrate his bday. Afterall, it has been sometimes since i last celebrate his bday.

Bday boy. A small celebration during dinner after the match. Looking happy with his MU shirt and da cake.

Hapi Hapi Bday Jas. Make a wish and blow the cake.

Me and Jason. :)

of cos more pictures with the bday boy.
Some more pics of Jenny and Jason. Old friends who i'll get to hangout during my 3 days 2 nights stay in KL. It has been a wonderful moment and i did enjoyed myself. Looking forward for my next trip to KL and do hope we'll get to meet up very soon again. :)

BcK To kLuAnG

Took Friday and Monday off so that i'll be able to be home for 4 days, so that i'll be able to meet up with some old friends as well as i'll be able to to renew my passport. Nowadays making a passport is so damn fast, i didn't expect it to be that super express cos u know la some of those companies in Msia are well known for its slow-ness process. But then, wow....I did my passport on Friday at 11.30am and was informed that i'll be able to collect my new passport at 3.30pm. Im pretty impressed thou. Well, it's either me being suaku not realising that the process has always been so fast for the longest time or maybe Msia has improved and it's progressing.

Anyways, cut that passport crap thingy.... the more i think of my passport, the more im a bit upset with the photo i took.... Should have put on some make up when i took my passport size photo.... i really look like some dead man or hantu pontianak..... wtf.... I got to really tahan for another 5 years b4 i can renew my passport. Let's jus hope i'll get used to the photo. :(

Been feeling good being at home thou i have to help my mum with the house chores and her sch work. Surprisingly, i didn't even complain nor having any reluctant feeling to help. I am happy in fact that i'll be able to be of much help for my family as eversince the maid has run away, mum has never get to really rest, battling between sch work and house work. Guess i'll try to go back Kluang more often to give support to mum and help her as much as i can.

Other than helping my family, i managed to meet up with some of my old school mates. Its sort of a gathering cum bday celebration for Marlene whom i have not seen her for years. The gathering was held in Secret Recipie cos that's the only place with wide range of different cakes and most importantly there's different kinds of cheese cakes which Marlene loved it very much.
Here goes some of the pictures we took that day:

That's Marlene looking surpised and happy. Been years since i last see her and i tot she has changed prettier and of cos more mature.
Spot those cakes? We ordered 5 pieces cakes and majority are cheesecakes. Both me and Seline love Cheesecake as well whereas Maxine prefers Chocolate cake. So there's two chocolate cakes just for Max. The one that i love most is the cappucino cheesecake, melts in your mouth. Damn......

The usual pratice by some of us, after blowing the cake, she will need to take the candles out using only her mouth

After the bday song, is pressie time. A beautiful card make by Seline and Marlene loved it much.

Me and Marlene :)

More pictures just for memories.

Maxine and Marlene with the beautiful card. Yes, the photos in the card is our old pictures. Gosh, we were all laughing on how silly we used to look like. Hehe......

3 pretty ladies looking at the pictures and videos that Maxine took during the bday song.

That's my piggy Max, being one of my vain pot club member.

Lastly, group pictures. We were onced a convent girl, and always will have those memories in our hearts forever. It's sweet to have such gathering onced in a while to have an update of everyone's life. Gosh how much we have changed and time really waits no man. Memories of those daes will always remain dearly in our heart and mind.

ShE RaN AwAy JuSt LiKe ThAt!!!

I can't believe, i really can't belive it. Called home yesterday and was informed by mum that my kakak (maid) who has been working with us for the past 5 years ran away from home. Until now, i still feel that's it's quite impossible and upset cos as days goes by, she has been oredi part of us, part of my family which very unlikely she'll ran away cos of money or us ill- treating her.

Well, she ran away last Tuesday and left a letter to my parents. In the letter, she actually stated the reason why she run away is because she suspect that she might be pregnant as her period was delayed for almost a month. She claimed that her fiance who is currently working in KL wanted to bring her back then married her asap. Therefore, she apologize a millon times that she will have to go and can't stay on to work for us.

The question lies on how did she get herself pregnant? Actually, after much discussion with my parents, we came up to a conclusion that the fiance actually came all the way from KL to my hometown just to meet up with my kakak and have sex. My parents are not always at home due to work and during weekends, they might be either working nor visiting my brother who is currently in KL. Therefore, there are many a times, the fiance actually manage to sneak into my house to meet up with my kakak. Man, im so damn dissapointed with her as we trusted her so much and yet she actually brought this man into our house to do their business!! wtf.....

I guess my kakak could have been cheated by her fiance cos in her letter to us, she told us she will be going back to Indonesia immediately to get marry. But till today, her family members whom my parents been keeping in touch throught phone told us that kakak has not went back home. We tried so many times to contact both the fiance and kakak but it seems that they have cut off their mobile line. Hence, her parents then hand us one of the fiance's friend's hp number hoping that we will be able to contact them as they are also very worried of their daugther. When my dad called that guy, he was saying that his not too sure whether the fiance has intention to go home as they are currently looking for a room to rent. So? Who knows whether they have sufficient cash to fly home? Kahwin immediately my foot!!!

Anyway, I just hope kakak the best. She has been always so dearie to us and we do hope she is fine in KL. Before she ran away, she actually clean the house properly, change the curtains, wash the clothes, lock the doors before she left. So far nothing valuable or cash was found missing and i guess she ran away all because she was blinded by LOVE.

Well, what can i say? LOVE is blind........Goodbye my favourite kakak.......

EaTiNg In Da tOiLeT

Okla, im not really eating shit nor drinking urine in the toilet. It was actually a cool place in Xi Men Ting, Taipei which i visited, that the restaurant owner uses the toilet concept. This place came in mind when i was surfing cheeserland's blog and saw this interesting post. I have yet to visit the toilet concept restaurant before and decided to bravely challenge myself for a try.

The famous Modern Toilet Restaurant. Everyone should give it a try and see whether you'll be able to take it.

The entrance of the restaurant is located at the 2nd floor. 1st floor are beautiful decorations for their guests to snap around before facing the shits.
Looked like gents and ladies to me. Haha.....

We went upstairs thinking that we will be able to get a place on the spot without any reservations. However, the waiter told us to come back one hour later and phew, the business is so good and i didn't expect everyone are into eating shits.
So we walked around and did some shopping. Back to the restaurant and as promised, the waiter brought us to our table. The design of the restaurant really makes me feel like im in the toilet.
Anyone care to take a shower?

Everyone on their toilet bowl enjoying their meals. Sound and look disgusting right? Haha

Our table that looked like a basin. everyone who came by for a meal will definetely leave a note and put it into the 2 big basins.
The toilet bowl with different kind of designs. Very creative :)

Here comes da food. This is what i ordered. I didn't have a proper meal as was still full from lunch. All my food in that green bathtub, yucks....

That's Victor Main course. Pretty gross isn't it? Looking at the food in the toilet bowl just make me loss my appetite.

My milk tea. Looks like some lao sai in the toilet bowl. wtf..
Yes yes, in the end we did finished all the food. It was an interesting experience. But the food serve is not that authentic after all.

If you are planning a trip to Taiwan, be sure to visit Modern Toilet Restaurant. Cool place if you love trying different things.
