19 December 2013

After almost-6-grueling-months of contemplation, today I selected my number plate. It all started on a roadshow at e@curve showcasing the new Suzuki Swift. I’ve always like the design of Suzuki Swift, but not so much the new design. Looking at the new Swift really tingle my thoughts on cars. What will my first car be? Swift? Myvi? Viva? And so, I started my intensive research on Swift and other cars. I’m a person who likes to get things planned out to avoid mistakes, wastage, and other unnecessary stuff, aka “smart shopping” XD Judging that Darren (my younger brother) is getting his driving license soon and it’ll only mean one thing. I’ll no longer have the privilege of driving my Dad’s big luxury car. On a side note, I am so thankful that I get to drive my dad’s car for..hmm..I started around July 2012, well over a year now. I have no words to show my gratefulness to my father, all I can say is ribuan terima kasih kepada ayah kesayangan mu. (reverse and bang to a BMW, fixed and respray paint, a motorcycle bang onto the side mirror, I bang the front left side to the pillar, a big dent at the back of the car, llumar tinting).

Not too long after spotting Suzuki Swift, Honda announced the price of Honda Jazz is reduced from RM99, 800 to RM74, 800 (That is one hella big cut-due to the switch of local assembly production). Immediately, the Honda Jazz earned its way to my “list”. After a few discussions with my parents, we conclude that it’s not suitable for me to get a car that is price around RM75k. With my heavy heart, I start to look at Myvi and Viva. But being my stubborn-self, I’m still keen. So, I did a rough financial planning and realize that I am capable, given that I have to put in bigger chunk of money, cling onto my job and work my ass off and no more impulsive shopping, more like no more shopping for me now.

Initially, Swift was the top of my list, but after much discussion with my car-enthusiast-friends, I pretty much have my heart set on Jazz. Later on, I found out that Honda is giving out major rebate on Jazz Hybrid, it’s that kinda promotion that happens once a year or not at all, ahhh-let’s just say it’s a great great deal. Which mean I could possibly get a new car for myself much earlier than I planned, which I am not financially and psychologically ready. After extensive homework done, I quickly make my way to Honda showroom with Carrie and Darren *so I can propose to my dad XD*. Unfortunately, there was only disappointment. To enjoy the great great deal, the car has to be registered before 31st Jan 2014, while the waiting list is all the way up to March 14. I think to myself, I’m gonna miss this great great deal.

I confess my disappointment over dinner at Kampachi, Troika to my parents on 14 Dec 2013. That’s when my mom reminded me that she has good network with Honda Tenaga Setia. I see glimpse of light, but I don’t wanna have my hopes up. We make way to the Honda showroom the next day (15 Dec 2013) together gether with Seng gor aka car-enthusiast. We were warmly greeted by the people at Honda (thanks to mom’s connection). My first question was, “I want Jazz Hybrid, but with the rebate, can?” he (Honda sales person) answered “mou men tai, ngor jou pei lei”. For a moment there, my world started spinning really fast and in the same time really slow. From that day on, everything just falls into place nicely, from securing a unit, to applying loan and making payment. I bought my number plate today, W 5576 J. Not the best number, but I selected it *it is, what it is*.

I just want to shout “achievement unlocked” at the top of my lungs. I realize that I completed 70% of my life. Kindergarden, check! UPSR, check! PMR & SPM, check! Foundation program, check! Degree, check! Getting a job, check! And now getting my own car, CHECK! CHECK! CHECK! I just want to remind myself, I’m one lucky 22 year old girl. All this while, I’ve been looking at the bad side of my life and I need to put a stop to it. Well Esther, give yourself some well deserved credit, you did well J

Kracie Happy Kitchen

I don't know if anyone knows RRcherrypie from YouTube or not,
but she's awesome!
please go watch her videos and u'll be obsessed with what I'm about to talk about here
so it's basically call konapun or at least that's what I call it cause now she's making from different brands,
she makes these super cute miniature things that some are edible
I started watching her videos for a year or so now,
and I want to have one so bad and its not available in M'sia
one time I was watching the video with Ivan
at that time it was during our assignment war or exam time,
so we said, after all the chaotic study stuff we'll get one online and do it
then we started searching online for it and it was sooooo expensive RM80+ exclude international shipping
so we skipped

Recently, during April Fools day he surprise me with a box of konapun!
well its not konapun, its Kracie happy kitchen miniature doughnut !!!!!
did not see that coming at all! haha I call it my april fools present

I didn't get to start making it when I first got it because once again it was my assignment war time
so I have to wait until....erm I think it was mid May-ish

the mold

the different components

first step, making the dough, then get creative <3

Narüko

idk how to start this *socially awkward penguin*
so.
I did these newspaper nails last week
 and I am obsessed!
gotten so many compliment *flattered*
no it's not nail sticker, its from the old fashion nail polish and newspaper :)

and I ordered skin careeeee
ikr I am so lame
its just SKIN CARE!
lol I'm kinda a girly girl,
so I like all things girly
but, I never "really" buy skin care before
I mean I do buy it here and there,
but mostly from samples that my mom gave or I redemn
and random ones from different brands
cause I can never finish them, I don't use skin care religiously,
I am so lazy when it comes to skin care
HENCE my awful skin

I went thru make up phase starting 16-ish
bought so many makeup that I am still trying to finish now
then I went into a perfume phase
and guess I have to invest in skin care now
cause I really wanna apply skin care religiously now!

I heard a lot of good things from Narüko
a skin care brand created by the famous Taiwan dermatologist, Niu Er
he's really someone great that I respect
let me reveal his age! he is 46 this year
and you can try googling for his picture, you'll be surprise

he's the first to create night jelly-sleeping mask
first to create night eye jelly
and also the first to create ECO-packaging for skin care
tell me HOW COOL?!

one bad thing is, I have to order online
there is some in selected Watson, but not the full range
and they send it thru Skynet,
geezus, I have a story to tell!
let's start with MALAYSIA BOLEH!
I waited one full day for them to deliver and they didn't
and I AM SO IMPATIENT
so the next day, I waited for them for the whole morning, and they didn't come
and I have to pick up my bro from school, I was out for 10-15 mins and GUESS WHAT?!
they came then, and they reached 5 mins earlier! *pulls hair!*
FML! called up customer service and ask if they can try delivering it again
and they say they are far, customer service gave me the driver's number to arrange for a meet up
called and they told me that they are at a place, around 1km away
WTF is this shit? u call that FAR (*@&($%^!(!(!$%@&
okay I was desperate, I drove there and collected my stuff

this will only happen in Malaysia! driving to the delivery man to collect my stuff
epic much
oh ya, my package was warm! sigh

so as I wear saying, eco-packaging
there's random pattern inside their ordinary white boxes
and u can basically cut and fold them into nice looking multi-purpose boxes

 cool!

so after much deliberation,
I went out to get another bottle from Watson
FYI, Watson carries the whole tea tree line and a few other product

so I got the tea tree serum
cause I've been having bad break outs

so here's what I got:
Rose & Snow Fungus Aqua Cubic Hydrator
Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Complex
Tea tree Oil Out Balancing Serum
Narcissus Total Defense Hydrating & Firming Gel

I have sensitive combination skin, my skin is pretty dry but it does get oily on my T-zone and I'm prone to breakout

Toddles

Bonne Saint Valentin

Valentine's Day
it was the second time with le bf and many more to come *fingers cross*

I'm one of the weird ones that find roses a bit of a waste
so I don't really wish for flowers on this day
however, it's always nice to receive one

the night before, I told le bf that I don't want any
if u have to give, just one or few stalks is enough
=3 where to find gf like me??!

he gave me the okay face

and on the actual day, we both have tight schedule on classes
so we were only meeting at nite
manatau, I can't wake up for class
HAHA FAIL WHALE!

so yea, le bf trick me into thinking that he didn't bring his wallet and wanted to drive to my place for money
he sounded really panic
so I didn't question him

as I was patiently waiting for him
he surprised me with the most beautiful bouquet of roses
he went to class immediately after passing me the bouquet ♥

itz me with le jersey :)

♥ still can't get over how beautiful it is

then off we go for the valentine dinner
le bf didn't make reservations,
so we just wing it and went to Soho KL

we ended up at Brussels
food there never fail us
but the service is a tad slow

Pork Burger with le bacon strips, drooling?

we make way to Häagen-Dazs for the final touch
OmNommmNommmBananaSplit

 complimentary rose from Brussels

I can't express my happiness with words
and I don't wanna sound so cheesy too
=3
le bf is a blessing to me

toddles love,
