Hope of a Life
i was just thinking about hope today. as i talk with different people here, it becomes more apparent how i live in a bubble and how people are truly uniquely created. the need to empathize is so great yet time and again, i hang this on my lips and not do it with my heart. and i've also realised that each of us have our own worldview, and somehow, when our worldviews do not coincide, some sort of a tension inevitably arises. i realise how we all protect our worldviews and defend it with all our heart, whether consciously or subconsciously we know it or not. because once we lose it, we are afraid never to find again. and then that leads to a feeling of lost and disarray. and with it gone, some hope we might have been clinging onto might be no more.
i met a lady called 'hope' here. i can see why she's called that name. :)
But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
