ESP CNY Celebration

On 22nd Jan 2009, a bunch of ESPians were gathered together to have a games day cum Chinese New Year Celebration exclusive for ESP Year Ones, Twos and Threes. The event was of great success and ESPians were successfully bonded regardless of years and levels.

The day went off with the starting of sport games sesson at 4pm with Basketball, Table Tennis and Soccer. The Year One ESPians were actively joined the happy time and Year Two who active in sports were joined them and had a great time! Through this event, it can observed that the ESP Year Ones are of great sport spirit and played well in the matches.

Among the games, the most popular game is said to be basketball and it involves both ESP Year 1 and 2 to form teams and played together. After a great time of fun in the afternoon, with the great odour of manhood and 'woman'hood, everyone proceeded to ESP level 4 to have a time of fellowship and 'laosheng' (捞生), which symbolizes lives will get better and better in the new year. The Chairman of ESP Subclub, Sheng Hong, commence the laosheng event with words, 'Wish all of you have a great year, great health and great prosperity. Of course have high grades and CAP!'

Apart from the laosheng food, a great amount of pizzas were served and everyone had sufficient amount. At the end of the time, ESPians went back with the heart of gratitude and joy and most important the blessings of CNY.

After the celebration, the sub club had organised a movie marathon event from 8pm to 8am on the next day, which enables ESPians to spend their times together in this festive season to laugh and gather together.

Movie Marathon

There will be a movie marathon on 23rd January (This Friday), 8pm to 8am at E3A lab. The movie list* are as follow:

1) Ratatouille

2) WallE

3) The Notebook

4) Iron Man

5) Batman : The Dark Knight

6) The Prestige

Chinese New Year Celebrations Cum Games day

Yoz Peeps,

There will be a ESP Games day cum Chinese New Year Celebrations. The games shall run from 1600h to 1800h. Games include street soccer, basketball, table tennis and Captain's Ball. The individual In-Charge will be present on the day at the respective venues. Please do look out for any of our sub club members at the respective venues. (table tennis will be held at MPSH 2, while basketball and soccer will be held at the respective courts). For safety reasons, please do ensure that you are properly hydrated and have around 7 hours of sleep the night before. (sounds like some organisation). 

For those who are totally not interested in sports or have something on between 1600h to 1800h. Fret not. You may still join us at 1830h at E3a for the Chinese New Year Celebrations where we shall 'lao' yusheng and food will be provided. It will be a fun filled galore as there will be movie screening during the celebrations as well as games. Enjoy the programme the ESP subclub has prepared for you guys. See you then.
