Lovely Weather

We have started our two times weekly walk at the library duck ponds again and the weather has been GORGEOUS!  It was 76 or something this morning!
We've also been having more water time.
I have no idea what's going on here.  Baby Dragon was bending over first and Sweetie decided to join in.  Monkey see, monkey do.
So it's sunscreen time again.  I received some free samples of Neutrogena's Pure & Free Baby Sunblock.
I'm a bzz agent, so I receive products to test and share (I'm not paid).  I also receive coupons and samples to hand out to friends and family.  So we've been testing out Neutrogena's Sunblock.  It's 60 SPF and I am IN LOVE with it because it does not smell like sunscreen!  Some people like the smell of sunscreen, but I do not.  I love that I can put this on my girls at noon and not be smelling sunscreen all day long or until they get a bath.  I will even lather it on MYSELF without a second thought and not have to be smelling sunscreen on me (and I'm pregnant and super smell sensitive).  It's supposed to have all natural ingredients, although I can't tell from the label since they are all foreign to me (probably b/c they are makeup-like ingredients).  It does have zinc oxide and titanium dioxide which I know is a must if you have an allergy to the sun because it blocks UVA and UVB rays.  It comes in small containers.  The full size containers is only 3 oz.  It also comes in stick form and I'm excited about that b/c I love my stick sunscreen that I bought in the past.  It makes it SO easy to put sunscreen on a squirmy baby's face. The only downside is that it leaves a little chalky white residue if you don't rub it in well enough.    If you're  interested in a $2 off coupon let me know and I can hook you up (it runs $10-12).

Memorial Day

We spent the night at Grandma L and Papa J's on Sunday so we could enjoy all of Memorial Day with them.  In the morning Sweetie got Papa to read to her.
She LOVED running on their deck.
When cousins came the girls had soo much fun.  Here Sweetie and Angel play 3D Blokus together.
Sweetie spent much of her time reading her Tag books or getting any random adult to read a pile of books to her.  She was so excited to have so many new books.  I think I read her a stack 4 or 5 separate times.
Baby Dragon had a great time running around and pretending with her cousins. I really didn't see much of her.
Tillie had all the girls laughing with this stuffed animal.
Sweetie steals a snuggle with Handsome Husband:

We celebrated cousin Julianna's 1st birthday.  She cried every time I looked at her or tried to take her picture.  This was one of the few good ones:
Sweetie is used to Handsome Husband attacking her:
She's telling him to be quiet.
Sweetie ALMOST blends in with her blonde cousins:
Before all the fun, Handsome Husband helped Papa J plant his garden.  They were out there for most of the morning.  Then when all our nieces and nephews arrived, Handsome Husband disappeared to play street hockey, croquet and volleyball.  I didn't see much of him either!  It was so nice to have less demanding children, we are soaking it up this summer!  We will be on our toes again when this baby is born!

Handsome Husband and Sweetie

Sweetie and Handsome Husband after church on Sunday:Dancing.
I LOVE the creamy tones of Sweetie's skin and the texture of Handsome Husband's shirt in these two.  The last one is my favorite.
I forgot to mention that on my birthday my Handsome Husband gave me an awesome present.  He cleaned the whole house for me!  He actually MOPPED the floors!  He never does that.  He came home early while I was out getting cake supplies with the girls and he cleaned for about an hour and a half, doing laundry, vacuuming, dishes, organizing...  It was so nice to come home to a clean house!  Of course, I totally bawled and felt undeserving since Baby Dragon had a breakdown while shopping which caused Sweetie to cry and me to lose it.  I felt like the last thing I deserved was such an incredible husband who would surprise me with a clean house.  But, I am infinitely blessed and my poor husband is stuck with me for eternity because I am NEVER letting go of such a gem!

At the Park

We met some friends for dinner at a local park.   Sweetie loved the swings, as usual. There is a sad story with the picture below.  We had been telling Baby Dragon all day that we were going to the park to play with friends, but the girl that was there was just too little to play with her the way she wanted.   So she went up to some other kids at the park and asked if they wanted to play or be her friend and they said no.  So, she went and sat dejectedly on the little wall.  I felt so bad for her.  Luckily, she had fun playing with cousins later on this weekend.
Happily there was a water area close by and that was something that Baby Dragon had NO problem with enjoying on her own. I obviously enjoyed myself with all the opportunities to take pretty pictures.
