Frugal Chic Living

So my new favorite blog is called, Frugal Chic Living. She shares her good deals so we can all live a Frugal Chic lifestyle. I've tried some of her suggestions and let me tell you it's legit! See for yourself! Saving money can be so much fun!

Oh, and you might find this funny, I did. So I get home from school and 2 full size cans of these are waiting on my door step all nice and boxed of course.

So I'm thinking to myself... "How did these get here? I know I like to plan ahead but I'm not even pregnant. Eric... did he order formula???, I know he is obsessed with Amazon.com, loves ordering random things, (this week he ordered a watch and he doesn't even like wearing watches, cute boy!) and he TOTALLY wants a baby. So is it Eric???"

NO...What I'm thinking that happened is one of my coworkers gave me a copy of this magazine American Baby and said to fill out the free subscription... and... so I did, and... I've been getting all kinds of goodies in the mail, a package of diapers, wipes, now formula... super funny! You might want to give it a try, it's free right?

Girl Scout Ice cream - yum!

I’m sitting here eating a bowl of the Girl Scout Samoas ice cream, it's soo scrumptious! If you have never partaken, it's a must try!
There are these huge chunks of cookies with caramel dripping off the ends and did I mention chocolaty goodness everywhere. It's sooo tasty! Oh how I love this time of year. Thanks goodness for the girl scouts and their dynamite ice cream.

From Beanies to Booties

As you know, the last few months I’ve been on this crocheting kick. During spring break I found some adorable patterns for these little shoes. Sylver Designs - I thought they were darling. Now all we need is a small baby!!!

The Flower Fields

My parents were down here for part of my spring break and we had tons of fun together. However, they worked toooooo hard while they were here. They were both so sweet to help with household projects and had such remarkable attitudes, they are great examples to me.

One of our adventures led us to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, which was absolutely breathtaking. The brilliant colors and sweet aroma of the flowers make this quite a marvelous place. I left feeling very motivated to get my garden started.
