Happy birthday to my sweet brother!
Sloane is very happy to be with her Pops!
Love you Matt!

Tried to get Christmas Card pics but opted for a professional...Christmas Cards coming soon! This makes me laugh because in my head it didn't look ANYTHING like this!
This was the cutest pic but I had to crop it and the lighting is terrible. Izzy looks like she's praying or really inquisitive about the lights, but really she's looking for a treat.
So my pre-lit Christmas decided to un-light this year. I purchased 3 boxes of 300 lights from Target (target brand...this will be important in a min.) I put them on the tree and after about two hours parts of 3 of the 6 strands went out. I was so mad because then I had to remove them from the tree; and try to box them back up so I could take them back. Plus, I still have the issue of a very dark tree. So then I purchased Phillips brand lights from Target and put them on the tree but they were too dim and didn't match the few rows of tree lights that were still working. So I returned those and purchased 7 100 light strands (GE brand) from Hobby Lobby (because they were out of the longer strands...of course!) I went home and put them on and only got about have of the tree done. So by this time Hobby Lobby was closed and they aren't open on Sunday. This morning (Sunday) I went to Lowes and purchased 8 more boxes of GE lights with the correct brightness (I was not going to run out!) I came home and put them on the tree and had two boxes left over which I used on the outside tree's whose lights also decided they didn't want to work. I needed to decorate the tree but I also needed to run to Kroger so I could make my work potluck dish. I went to Kroger and came home to turn on my beautiful bright tree and guess what???? NOT ONE SINGLE LIGHT CAME ON! Are you freaking kidding me! I started bawling. Yep, I did! I know it's crazy, but I was tired and I've had more issues with this dang tree! Not to mention I did all of this so I wouldn't have to buy a new tree. Note to self...ALWAYS just buy the new tree! Well, I called mom and she came over with three extension cords and a splitter cord and the tree of 1500+ lights is now lit...a little Clark Griswold but beautiful! So now to fluff the scarf ribbon that goes on the tree...Oh wait the dryer won't come on! Great...just great! Someone is trying to steal my Christmas spirit!!!!
