Lily's 1st Birthday!

Lily turned 1 on September 25th.  The year went by way too fast!  Here are a few facts about our Lily Mae (A.K.A. Lily Bean):

*She is one of the happiest, smiliest babies I know. 

*She freely gives hugs and kisses and loves to snuggle.

*Lily runs as fast as her little baby legs can go to greet Daddy at the door when he comes home from work.  

*She has only two bottom teeth.
*She will climb just about anything.
*Her favorite book is Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear
*She loves to dance to every type of music.
*When she's tired, she will rub the collar of my shirt between her fingers.
*If she spots you laying on the floor, she will sit on your head.

Lily endures being picked up, swung around, pushed over, and hugged to death by her adoring siblings.

She was more into eating a brown sugar muffin than her cake.

We love you, sweet Lily!!!

It would be so nice to have a pool in the backyard, but I guess this will have to do.

 

Ella's dance recital

Ella had her first dance recital at the beginning of June.  She loved getting all fancy for the performance. She danced a jazz routine and did an amazing job.

 

 

Father's Day

The sliding glass door in the kitchen is one of Lily's favorite spots in the house.  She likes to play with the blinds and look longingly out the window.  It has been way too hot to take her out in the middle of the day (June in Arizona).
