Saturday at Grandma Jenkins

The kids played outside before the horrible, annoying snow storm. They had fun on the swing set.
Cameron would laugh so hard when they would hit into eachother.

Kate had fun too. She went down the slide a few times with me holding onto her the whole time. She was in the swing a bit too, and loved it.

Oh, she is getting so big. The sun was a little bright, gotta love the face scrunch. What a cutie!!

Kate and her books.

Kate has learned quickly how fun it is to pull all the books off the bookshelf, which she learned from her big brother. Thanks Cameron!
So proud, she would show me the book before she put it on the ground, jabbering the whole time.

Now she was more fascinated with the camera and came to see me. She likes to review the pictures on the camera screen and smile.

Even with making messes she is getting to be so much fun, she has quite the personality. Love you Kate!!

-Tired-

Rough night, it was 5:30 and I was on the phone. I looked over to see Cameron asleep, he had eaten the pepperoni off his pizza and then zonked. He didn't have a nap yesterday and had started whining and crying at about 4:00, so I wasn't too sad that he slept the rest of the night. Aren't kids so sweet looking when they are asleep. Even though he causes me a lot of headaches I love him so much I just want to squeeze him, and usually do!!

Lunch

I decided to go to lunch after we picked up Hannah today from preschool. Where did the kids want to go???
Subway...thanks to a great husband the kids love to eat at Subway. Not my favorite, but I know it is healthy so I am grateful.

Hannah told me you know what we love to do with our Subway, eat it while we watch a movie(Usually when I am at work and Erik has the kids). So here they are watching the diving horse movie(Wild Hearts Can't be Broken).
They even chose apple slices and raisins.
I couldn't get a smile out of Cameron for this one.
Thanks Erik for making our kids healthier!!! We love you!

Spring in Utah

Spring is so frustrating to me, we can have 70* weather on Saturday and Monday morning we wake up to this...
...and then by 4:00 it looks like this.

I don't know about you but I definitely am ready for the second picture, Green-Warm-Sunny. I have Spring fever bad!!!

Cameron and Scooby-Doo

Cameron woke up from his nap this afternoon. He started telling me about Scooby-Doo and how he and Shaggy did this and that. I didn't recognize the story line so I asked him if he had a dream about Scooby. He said yes mom it was my dream. I said that, that was a pretty cool dream. He said no mom it was a funny dream and then started laughing. This kid loves Scooby-Doo and Toy Story so much I am surprised he doesn't dream about them constantly. Kids are awesome!!!

Warm weather...playing outside

I am so glad for the warm weather. I know it won't last so we took advantage of it this week. Hannah made this rock tower with some rocks outside the garage. She was very proud of her masterpiece.

Here is Cameron on his bike, this summer we need to work on him pedaling alone instead of me pushing him. He is starting to get the hang of it already, if I can talk him out of wearing his cowboy boots (they don't pedal very well)

Hannah and her action shot of riding her bike. She wouldn't let me take the picture until she was moving.

The kids love to sit in the future Jeep in the driveway.

You can always expect a good pose out of Hannah! Cameron only concentrating on driving.

Kate

Enough about Cameron and his naughtiness. Our sweet Kate is starting to grow out of her 6-12 month clothes, so I got into the bin of some of Hannah's old things. Gotta love good hand-me-downs. These are some pictures of Kate in one of my favorite outfits, I remember Hannah got it for her 1st birthday. Then I remembered I had some pictures of Hannah in it, so I scanned them in to compare my girls.
Kate

Hannah
and yes it is the same puppy(Hannah sleeps with it, still)

I like to think they somewhat look alike, minus the curly, blonde hair and blue eyes on Kate and the straight, darker hair and dark brown eyes on Hannah. They are sisters and there are things that Kate does that remind me of Hannah, but really Cameron and Kate look more alike. Good thing Hannah looks like me, at least. I love my girls!!!

Doesn't he look like a little Angel...NOT!!!

It is a good thing Cameron is so cute...

My little 2 1/2 yr. old Cameron has a fascination with making messes and not just small ones. His latest...fingernail polish. This is what I found last Friday in my bathroom.

Notice the 5 brushes laying on the mat. That's right he dumped 5 bottles onto the tile.

The worst part of it all is that this was the second offense. While my sister-in-law Shawnee was tending last week, he found her hot pink polish in her purse and decided to paint his toenails, downstairs in front of the TV. My brother-in-law Austin is a life saver. He has access to magical cleaning supplies at his work. He cleaned it all out of the carpet and brought me a can to clean the bathroom too. Thanks Austin!!
On Sunday he got into the laundry detergent and dumped about 3 scoops onto the floor and about 2 into the garbage can. It is not like we leave him alone for very long. He just sneaks so quietly away and we find him in these awful messes. All I can think of is what is next???

Rodeo-Last Saturday

Last Saturday we went to the Rodeo with my family. Minus Erik and Kate, Erik was sick. The kids loved it.

Cameron and cousin Macey
Grandma and Hannah
Hannah started getting sleepy and was laying down, Macey thought she needed to lay down too. Macey got up a second later but Hannah really fell asleep and had to get carried out to the car by Stuart. ( Thanks Stu you are a lifesaver!!)

Hopefully we can do it again in March!
