Memory Monday and 3 days till Christmas!!!

Well, I think we are over the nasty stomach flu. I wasn't lucky and it hit me Saturday night, thank goodness it was only a 24 hour bug. We missed a couple of parties over the weekend, but there is always next year. Here are some pictures from last Christmas at our house.

Grandmas and Grandpas came to Christmas morning. Erik kept telling them they didn't want to miss the surprise he had for me.

And the surprise...a new bed with new sheets and comforter set. I had no idea about any of it. He is proud to say when he brought out the headboard from the laundry room he brought me to tears ( in my defense I was pregnant and had worked until midnight) I was so surprised and I loved what he had chosen too!! I have the greatest husband! Love you, Erik!

The bed definately looks better in our new house, a lot less clutter and more room that's for sure.

Sick, right before Christmas, no fun!!!

We have been sick at our house for about 5 days now, vomiting and more vomiting. No fun...everyone has had it except me. Keep your fingers crossed, but what are the chances. Erik has been a life saver, he was home a couple of days and last night I worked and he did it all alone. Even poor Kate at 10months throwing up, it is so sad. Here are the boys taking a little nap together. So cute!! Erik don't hate me for posting the pics I couldn't resist.

Well wish us luck to be over it before Christmas!!

Christmas Cookies

We went to our friends the Hall's to decorate Christmas cookies. Hannah had a great time and loved eating those cookies. We even froze some undecorated ones to make for Santa on Christmas Eve, Hannah is very excited about that!!

Hannah with a mouthful of cookie, Yum!

So much fun, thanks for having us over Alyson!!

Snow Time

Cameron had a fun time playing in the new snow while I shoveled the drive way last time it snowed and Hannah was at preschool and Kate was napping.

He played with Pete too. I think they like eating snow together.

Here is Cam saying cheeeese... just like anytime you take his picture!

Memory Monday

I feel like I haven't blogged forever. We have been really busy, but nothing too blog worthy. I was having withdrawals so I had to think of something to post. Since it's not Flashback Friday I figured Memory Monday would work. This coming Saturday we have my mom's Buttars family party. So these pictures are of the party in 2005. Hannah was only 2 and Cameron was barely on the way, Erik was in school and my wonderful grandparents were still with us. How things have changed. Hope you enjoy the pictures...

The kids did the nativity, Hannah was an angel.

Hannah with "Santa", you might recognize him...

Thanks Stuart, you were a great Santa the kids all loved it!!!

Hope you are all having a great holiday season!!!

Decorating the Tree

We finally got the tree decorated the past couple of days. My dad spotted the perfect tree in Island Park for us in our new house, it's huge. The size caused a little problem. Erik had to cut a few feet off because it wouldn't fit under our 12 1/2 ft. ceilings. Then we had to buy a new stand, the tree bent our old one. Needless it has been an ordeal to get the perfect tree ready to go. I put the lights on over the weekend and then we started decorating for family night. Two kids under 6yr, a crawling baby, and a ladder, a very interesting night of decorating.

Hannah loved using the ladder, so all of her ornaments were in the same place. Too cute!

I finished it up today and Ta-Dah...

Now all we need is more snow and then "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"

My not so little baby...

Our little Kate is getting so big. She doesn't quite have crawling all the way figured out, but she is already starting to pull herself up to things. She is just so little it seems like she shouldn't be doing all these things yet.

My cute little girl, I love her so much!!!

Bed Switcharoo...

We finally got the kids bunk beds done, a project well overdue. They were so excited, and love playing in their room on the beds.
Cameron chose The Hulk sheets, even after given many options he kept coming back to them.
Hannah of course chose High School Musical.
Kate was excited too, doesn't she look so big standing up to her crib.
I couldn't resist this self photo of the girls, I just love 'em.

Thanks Erik for all the work you put into refinishing the beds! Love ya

Flashback Friday

My friend Sid, who introduced into the blogging world, posts a Flashback Friday and I love it. So I am totally copying her this week. These pictures are from exactly 2yrs ago. We were at Island Park for Thanksgiving. Here are Hannah and Cameron ready to go out in the snow. Cam really didn't mind his snow suit it's just a bad picture.
We would catch Hannah eating snow all the time, she loved it!
Erik trying to get his son addicted to Mountain Dew too!!

Another funny quote by Hannah

The kids have been looking through the toy catalogs as soon as they come, getting excited for Christmas. Hannah circles about 5 things on every page. To try to get it narrowed down for my shopping I asked Hannah if you could have only 2 toys from Santa what would they be? Her response...I would ask if I could please have more. I couldn't stop laughing!! I love her so much. Oh the joy of Christmas, and all the giving, right???

Disney on Ice

On Saturday Hannah and I went to Disney on Ice with my mom, aunt Pam and her daughter Maddie. We had a great time. The theme was 100 years of Disney. They had a lot of characters there and the girls loved it!!
It was hard to get good pictures, these are the best ones.
Hannah said this was her favorite part. Beauty and the Beast.

We had so much fun. The seats were great. The pictures didn't do it justice. There were a lot of good ice skating stunts between the princes and princesses but to hard to catch with the camera. It was great...Thanks Mom!!!
