I made his Easter basket this year. It was so cute!
For some reason, they had a purple monkey and a bumble bee there. He wasn't too sure about them but because they gave him an egg, he was willing to go up to them.
The Easter bunny wanted him to sit next to him but he would only touch his nose and then grabbed his egg and was done.
They had some sugar cookies to decorate. He loaded it full of sugar and then ate the entire thing. He was one happy boy.
We spent Easter in Utah this year and loved every bit of it. Eric hasn't been out there for about 3 years now and I don't think Graham remembers most of his other trips there. Graham was spoiled rotten and used his incredible cuteness to get everything he wanted. His favorite phrase was "can I have a coin?" or "can I have a twenty?" Of course it was too cute to resist, so he came home with three piggy banks and almost 30 dollars in coins and cash. As well as many toys and stuffed animals and clothes. Lets just say, it was a great trip.
Dying Easter Eggs with daddy. This was his favorite thing about Easter. He would throw the eggs in the dye before Eric had a chance to remove the other one. He would laugh hysterically every time.
Easter Morning. The Easter bunny brought some new books and jammies, some candy and lots of new trains.
Easter Egg hunt at Grandma JoAnn's. His eggs had coins in them (another source of his many coins he came home with.)
One egg from Grandma JoAnn had a $10 in it. He was one happy boy to get that.
Eric and I took Graham to Temple Square twice while we were there. He loved touching the temple doors and was really upset that he couldn't go inside. He would look at the temple and sing "I love to See the Temple." It was a moment we'll remember forever.
He loved looking at the statue of Christ. Eric was holding Graham by the statue and Graham told him, "He wants to hold me!" That got both Eric and I in tears. Temple Square was definitely a good trip to take.
One of the days there, we took Graham on the Trax train so he could ride his first train. We rode it from the station by my grandma's house to SLC and went to Temple Square again. He was in train heaven.
Temple Square round 2. All he wanted to do was see the Jesus Statue again.
Grandpa Steve wanted to take Graham to the Airforce Museum. His favorite was the helicopters and getting to sit in the pilot chair. The only thing he was mad about was that he couldn't get inside the airplanes.
We had a great trip and are looking forward to going back to Utah in May for Uncle Reo's high school graduation! Graham already calls Grandma Nene everyday to ask if he can go to her house.
