December and Christmas 2011

Wow, It's been a long time since I've posted last. Mostly the reason was I never got around to clearing off my camera and just found 400 pictures on my card today! So, instead of a bunch of text, I'm just going to do an update with pictures. Of course, they are mostly of Graham since Eric and I don't really like being in front of the camera and Graham is just so darn cute, who wouldn't want to look at pictures of him? Enjoy!

December 2011

We had a rough winter. Graham was in the hospital for Pneumonia and then continued to be sick all winter. He got Pneumonia again in January, along with a double ear infection and then several colds until the beginning of March. It was a very long winter, spent mostly at home. We made quite a few memories with him though.
Building Forts in the basement

Playing dress up
Taking baths with Oscar (yes, the cat LOVES water)
 Brushing Oscar dry
Playing with Playdough
 Making frosting with Mommy

Showing off our favorite jammies that Grandma Jill made
Of course, we did go outside a couple of times. During those times, he was completely bundled up. Doesn't he look like the kid from A Christmas Story? "I can't put my arms down!"
At the city Christmas parade, ringing jingle bells for Santa to come. (dWe didn't have any of his gloves, so he is wearing mine.)

We played on the slides with cousin Piper and daddy

 We met Santa Clause
Took baths with cousin Nate before they moved away :(
Played with mom's camera during tithing settlement with the bishop
Eric and I went to his work party. The theme was NASCAR this year and Eric REALLY got into it since he is already a huge fan
Graham was sick a lot which means, he was tired a lot.
Asleep sitting up. He is still kinda bloated from the IV fluids in this picture. It was a day after we were released from the hospital
 And then, Christmas came...
Decorating his own tree while mom decorates the big one
Graham's favorite place to lay down

getting ready to decorate the ginger bread house
We bought a kit and it wasn't even big enough to fit together. It was a pretty funny gingerbread house
And he ate more of it than he decorated...

Christmas morning/afternoon-ish. We didn't open presents until after church but, he didn't know the difference...

Graham was SPOILED ROTTEN for Christmas. I just couldn't stop getting him presents. Everything I saw, I thought would be great for him to play with. I figure, I'll only have one kid for a little while and when there are more, I won't be able to buy as many things. So, I am going to spoil Graham as much as I want. hehe :) However, Eric was also very spoiled and has remarked that "this was the best Christmas [he's] ever had!" I was also spoiled and given everything I asked for. I have the best Santa Claus in the world.

I have more pictures of Christmas but we had to switch to Eric's professional camera which doesn't import the pictures right on my laptop. So, I will have to wait until Eric has time to transfer them all in the right format to post them. Sorry

New year's eve. We just stayed home since Graham was sick again and banged our pots and pans at 8pm. It started raining so the few fireworks we bought got put on hold. Hopefully they will last until July.

Happy 2011 everyone!! Bring on 2012...
