February 2011-My cute Valentine's!

February is the month of love and we sure do love our little boy! I don't know what life would be like without him.

He turned 15 months this month. I can't believe how fast this went!! We went to the doctor for his checkup this week. Here are his stats:

Height: 34 inches........97%
Weight: 28 pounds.....90%
Head: 19 1/4inches....90%

He is huge!!! but the doctor says he is very proportinate. He measures the size of a 21 month old and has the vocabulary of a 2 year old. The doctor, again, was amazed at his development and growth. He can say over 50 words (maybe not perfect but they are very clear of what he is saying) and is hilarious! He has the best personality. So funny and sweet. He makes us laugh everyday with the faces he makes and the things he does.

He had to get two shots this round and they made him cry but what do you think made it all better?
A really good, sticky sucker. He screamed when we finally pried it out of his hands.

Here is a list of the words he can say (at least all of the ones I can think of).

-Baba (bottle)
-Dad

-Choo Choo (the sound the train makes)
-Vroom Vroom (the sound the car makes)
-Chuck (Truck; again the T is hard)
-Shh Shh Shh
-No!No!No! (he does this while shaking his finger at whatever he is saying No too. I think I tell him that too much. ;) )

He babbles a lot too and I have no idea what he is saying but it sure is cute!

Graham is such a sweet boy. He will put his head on our shoulder and wrap his arms around our neck when we ask him to give us a big hug or tight squeeze. He gives us kisses when we aks and has no problem giving Grandma kisses when she asks. When we say "I love you" he blows us a kiss. He is such a sweet heart!
looking cool with daddy. :)
The balloons were not his friend today. They kept attacking him because they were stuck to his leg and he couldn't get them off. It was making him really really mad. :)

Eric and Graham are best friends. Graham LOVES playing with daddy and Eric can get him to laugh harder than anyone I know. It's so cute to watch them play together.

Along with loving this little boy, Eric and I are still as in love as ever. We enjoyed a fabulous Valentine's day at home. I planned a nice, romantic dinner that Eric and I shared with Graham. After he went to bed, I had a scavenger hunt planned for Eric. I found the idea here and we had a blast doing it. We got to remember our wedding day and all of the good times we've had since being married. I love Eric more than ever and can't wait for many more Valentine days to come. Love you Eric!!! Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

January 2011

January was a busy month, full of fun times and a growing little boy. Graham has gotten really old all of the sudden. He looks like a toddler now, losing weight from all of his running around and talking up a storm. Life sure has been fun. Here's some pictures to show you just how fun it's been.

It started off with Eric's work party. It was a pirate themed party and Eric REALLY got into it. There was a nice dinner, games and lots of prizes. We ended up coming home with a brand new blu-ray player and a really nice bonus. Thank you mom for watching Graham!!
Graham is super cute! He figured out how to walk this month and hasn't stopped since. He is a little wobbly but is getting much better. He walks with his arms out like Frankenstein and has a really concentrated look on his face the whole time. I just love this kids to death!

Graham is into everything lately! I can't leave him alone for two seconds or I find this....

This face sure makes up for it though...

Graham LOVES taking baths. Whenever we ask if he's ready to get in the tub, he immediately walks to the bathroom and starts knocking on the door until we open it (it has to be kept shut because the toilet and toilet paper are his new favorite toys.) He loves to kick in the water and play with all of his "ahmals."
Doesn't he look SO OLD!!! I hate how fast it's going but it's exciting at the same time...

Watch how excited he gets when we start the bath. BEWARE, there are many bath videos to follow. Mostly because I want to document them somewhere and because I think he is just so darn cute and you should all see it!

Graham loves to talk. He talks more than most one year olds I know. He doesn't always perform on command but I was able to catch a few of them on camera.

Graham loves balls. He loves to kick them and roll them all over the place.

When Graham was learning to walk, he could only turn one way and he practiced it over and over again. It was hilarious to watch him walk around with his arms out, spinning in a circle.

Graham is such a daddy's boy. He loves helping Eric with anything he is doing and will follow him around the house the second he gets home. We got a new steam cleaner this month and Graham enjoyed helping daddy set it all up.
Graham has the funniest faces sometimes. He is such a character and makes us laugh everyday. We just love this kid!
Graham's favorite things right now are playing toys, watching tv, and reading books. He loves cars, trains and his little people animals; any book you put in front of him but his absolute favorite are anything with Elmo and animals; he loves to watch Elmo, The Wiggles, Thomas and Friends, and Caillou. He will dance and sing along with all of his shows. It's really cute.
