Because it was funny!!!

Yesterday I was getting dressed for the day and Alaura and I had a funny conversation
A"Mommy I want a bra too"
B"you don't need one"
A "I need one when I'm 10...I'll get booboos then!!!"

I could have died it was so funny!! I really don't know where she got that from.

Then this morning she walked up to me out of nowhere
A"Mommy I'm 10!!!"
B"You're 10?"
A "Yeah, (lifts up her shirt) I'm getting booboos now!!!"
She's too funny

I keep meaning to do a post and I find that I just don't have very much time on my hands lately...Like I said earlier Eric and I went away for the weekend, Alaura got to spend the weekend with Mimi and Papa (mom and dad Olsen) Mom's so on top of things that she did a post on Sunday night right after we picked Alaura up. Thank you Mom and Dad for taking her and giving us the opportunity to celebrate our FIVE year anniversary (and my birthday) I promise I'll post all the pictures and details ASAP. I'm right in the middle of editing all kinds of pics, and we're getting ready to leave for the weekend again...this time all three of us or going camping!!!!

MY GOOD NEWS MOMENT...ERIC IS FINALLY NOT DOING OVERTIME!!!!! I FINALLY HAVE A HUSBAND!!!!!!!! WE'RE COMPLETELY BROKE, BUT IT"S GREAT TO HAVE HIM HOME :)

Happy Fathers Day

For some reason I'm having a hard time loading pictures and stuff...I've been trying to do a Father's Day post... Happy Fathers day to the dad's in my life.!!! I'll post my real one ASAP. Better late than never right?

I'm working really really hard to get my photography stuff going...I need some opinions from other people. Please help.

What do you think is a fair price for a sitting?

Family

Extended family

I'm not sure how to adjust the prices...$20, $50 , $100? Less? more?

A sitting would usually be about an hour and would include a disk with all edited full resolution images with full right to reproduce all images.

Along with that, would you prefer the disk or a package with prints?

I'm thinking of doing a $20 special for a mini sitting for a baby blessing...probably 30 min . Would anyone take advantage of that?

Whats a fair price for a wedding?

I was thinking of doing it by the hour with a two hour min.($75 hr?)

Would you pay extra for separate bridal and engagement sittings?($50?)

Would you prefer indoor or outdoor pictures? I'm trying to decide if I should invest in my indoor studio or if I should just focus on outdoor photos.

I'm also looking for some people to take pictures of to build my portfolio. I need one of each of the following:

Baby

family & siblings

maternity

engagement

I'll do it for $15 to cover my time and gas if needed since it's building my portfolio. I'll include the pictures on a disk.

I'm also looking for another wedding to do. I'll do the reception and mini bridal sitting in town for $50. ($100 out of town at a temple to cover gas and time)

I can't offer these prices for long as I need to make back the money I'm putting into it. I'll be making a website soon showing the pictures and products I'll be offering.

The last thing I'm trying to decide is this:

Should I invest in a semi professional camera? I would have to charge more money for the sittings, but the quality would be really good. The camera I have now is decent, but it's entry level for digital SLR.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
