Little Children Museum & OSD

It seems like once a month blog posting now. Anyway, let this be a quick post instead since I'm really lacking of sleep now. Planned this whole day trip a week ago, and I'm glad that it was kind of successful. Brought him to Little Children Museum, which was located at Bussorah Street at Kampong Glam.

It is a small museum that has all the old school stuffs, like the report cards from our parents generation, the chaptek, marbles, the old school kind of salons, the dolls and many more. It was quite small though and the admission actually needs two bucks. But it was quite an eye-opening for us.

The museum was located at the second level. And the first level has a small area which allow us to take pictures with all the old school and vintages decorations. I think it's really cool.

^ The old school kind of tables and chairs. It reminds me of how I always fell asleep during class.

Next stop was to Old School Delights (OSD) that located at 215 Upper Thomas Road. Old School Delights is somehow similar to Little Children Museum. It sells all the Asian food like mee-siam, nasi lemak, laksa and many more. But the good thing about Old School Delights is it provides all the information of the old school memories. In every table, there is a box which contains the five stones, happy family, old maids, donkey, snakes and ladder and country erasers.

It totally reminds me of the times during primary school. I will always buy a lot of country erasers and started selling it out and have a match with classmates.

The waitress gave us the whiteboard and marker for us to write down our orders. It's really cool and fun!

I'm glad that I've researched on these places and never missed out such fun and experience! :)

So as you can see that the whole day activities are about reminiscing the childhood time, so I decided to look for the different flavors of collon for him since it is his favourite snacks and many places stop selling collon. I'm glad I've put in all my effort in the whole event, from planning to buying to surprising.
