Good thing doesn't last long

As I said in the previous post, the good sign can't last long. I took out my geography book to revise and I fell asleep less than half an hour. How terrible it is.

It's time where I really need to buck up on my geography and change my attitude. I have not been passing my geography since last year. Thought I have already not included combined humanities into my L1R4, I must at least get a C5 for it. As for prelim, a pass will do. Okay, get back to the room please.

Short Wordy Post.

Right now, I'm in the mood to sit now quietly revising my geography. It's a good sign but I guessed it does not last long. Meet up with zz in the afternoon and had a hair cut for my fringe at street 42. After that, headed to East point and wanted to go Long John Silver to study but was fully occupied. So, changed our revision to Burger King. I could say that the milo was really sucks. You should try it yourself and you will know why I say it sucks.

Unpleasant Teachers' Day

HAPPY TEACHER DAY

Today will be the last year celebrating teachers' day in the school. When we were called to the class party, everyone looked so bored. Everyone wasn't preparing any foods or even drinks as no one informs us earlier. After that, went up to the multi purpose hall for the appreciation concert. I could said that most of the Sec5s were rather piss'd off with some of the teachers. When the councillor interviewed some teacher and they were like wishing the younger ones to pass their O's and it's obviously neglecting us. So as the emcee was.

When it was time to dismiss, that teacher forgot about us. So I asked Hongwei if she will forgets us and continue the sec3s. Guessed what? She had really forgot about us. Hongwei was so piss'd that he just left the hall. That was the time when that teacher noticed us. Well I guessed, we weren't seem to be noticable at all.

After that dismissal of that unpleasant concert, we went to search for teachers. On the way, I saw Joyce and Samantha so we took 2 pictures. It's been real long since I've seen time. Oh luckily that they didn't change much.





Yesterday was rather a busy day for me. Haha. I decided to make a trip to visit my grandparents at the west alone. I gave them a surprise and I guessed they were really quite happy to see me. Both of them kept on stuffing me with foods and said I had slimmed down. Oh my god, did I heard wrong? Bought them 6 mini mooncakes at Q bread before making the trip down. It's good to hear that my grandma loves the mooncakes so it's worth it.



Suddenly, I felt that my cousin and I have some gaps in communications. When I was talking to him, he wasn't like the past, sticking to me, plays with me and talks to me. When I wanted to have more talks with him, he said he wants to play maple. That's hurtful! So, I sat next to him and watched him play maple thought I don't understand a single thing at all. But I realised that he typed a message to someone, saying I love you. I was real stunned. Well, it's a stage of developing and growing.



After visiting, I rushed back to Tampines to meet Zuan Zhe, Hong Jun and Yi Heng for table tennis game. Oh my god, I can say that I play quite well. Haha. I know how to smash all right, just that it's always fault and hit my own side before bouncing to the other. But it's already amazing. The three boys cannot receive my serving at all when I hit the edge. Haha. Now you can know how well I can play.

I shall call them out for challenge soon.

All right, I shall stop all those naggy, long wordy post of mine. Well, I shall tempt everyone of you with the nice cakes which my mom bought.

For like finally, there will be no school tomorrow as well as Thursday. A big 2 days break for me to rest at home till I'm fully recover from my slight fever. Prelim started yesterday, kick off with social studies and chemistry. Was still all right for chemistry but couldn't finish my source based for social studies. Physic and English today and it ended at 6. I think my composition will be slightly better than the mid year. As for paper 2, I've got no words to describe that. Everyone came out of the hall, complaining that they might get single digit, I think so as me. Okay, I shall not say how careless I am during examinations because it's my own fault for being careless. Hence, no one to blame, no one to complain to. Be self-conscious of what you are doing and ta! do well for it with no regrets.

3 days for my revision had just ended. Well, I still think that it's not enough for me. I'm still not confident for my social studies and chemistry. Had been practising the organic chemistry for 2 days but still have at least a wrong for it.

At least after tomorrow and tiring Tuesday papers, I will have 2 days break and followed by a september holiday. Then, I will be revising for my other papers and no time for break at all. I just can't let myself to have anymore excuses to give myself a break, even a short ones. Well, I guessed I will blog lesser than I usually do because teacher once said that you must give up your computer, for your studies. I believe after 2 months, I will have more time for my com. So, bye bye.

The moment I walked out of the oral room, I knew that I had screwed everything up for my oral. Everyone who was in the oral this afternoon might think it's an easy topic but for me, I just screwed it all up. But frankly speaking, I think my reading aloud was not bad. I stressed on some words and it turns out to sound nice. Or am I just imagine?

Well, the topic was about career. I was real nervous when discussing about the picture. But I at least mention about their face expression and describe their clothes so I believe, I'll still be able to pass. Though I dare not aim high like for a distinction but a merit will be good too.

All right, shall not talk about this anymore. Suddenly, I realised that the collagen water which my mom bought wasn't as nice as she describe but no choice, I still have to drink it because it's good for my complextion. On the way to meet Zuanzhe, bumped into Decong on the 293 bus. Had a small chat with him regarding each other's current life and was rather glad that he was going through everything smoothly. Well, hope he will be ables to get this grade for his A's.

There won't be any school for me tomorrow because it's mother tongue prelim. One day break for me! :D

All right. Yiheng is calling me again. Yes, I'm rushing down right now!

My life for now is all about O level, prelim, study, books, notes and remedial. Well, I'm trying my best to score as higher as I can for my prelim and hopefully, I will do well in my O's. After that, I'll be free!

I bet the match tonight will be the exciting one and the most memorable. Being able to beat into the final and hit the history isn't a simple thing. So, well done!

Finally, I've finished my POA homework yesterday when studied with the old same group at 201 and West mac.

There's nothing much to blog about these few days. Prelim is just next week and I still haven't even seriously sit down to start revising. Time to read up on the QA for chemistry. Bye!

God, whatever I've typed just now was all gone. :(

I'm lack of sleep these few days. Every minute I listen attentively in class, I would praise myself for the good try but not rewarding myself with foods because that's a very bad temptation.

Dear Mr Private No. holder, if you know me and you do read my blog, can you please stop calling me in the middle of night? I was having a sweet dream at that time and I was being awaken by your disturbing call. Last night was the third time you've called me. First was on 1Aug, second was on 2Aug and after 12 days, I thought you would have becoming more mature and stop calling. But 12 days later, you called again. I had asked you who you are but you were always merely grumbling. Are you trying to scare me? If you ever call me again without telling me who you are, don't blame me for diverting my calls to Macdonald or Pizza Hut.

Chemistry banding was always the most relaxed one. :D Jasmine, Jueying, Huishan and I had a small chat with Miss Ho before heading home this afternoon. Haha.

Physic practical practise today and I'm so dumb doing it. Red wires to connect the ammeter or black? Hahaha, just looked dumb.

Maths banding was killing too, my whole mind was just being stressed up after school. Out of sudden, I realised that I had difficulties communicating with my good friends.

Okay, physic and chemistry prelim practical will be next week. Followed by, social studies, the subject that no matter how hard I've studied, I'll still fare badly for it. Also, I must continue my sit-ups before sleep every night now because zz is complaining that I'm getting fatter and fatter.

All right lo! Hahaha.

Today, 12th of August, the release of O level Mother Tongue result.

The moment you stepped into the school hall, you can feel the ambience was extremely tense. No one was there to have the mood to joke around. Everyone just looks so serious while waiting for the result. Ms Chua once said that if this cohort do well for this O level, we will sing the school song together. I guessed this is the first time whereby all students wish to sing the school song with pride.

When she announced that everyone was to stand up for school song, you can feel that most of the students felt relieved and excited. As for me, I just kept on crying. I do not know why but I just got more and more nervous to receive back the result.

After the school song, Ms Cheng talked about our percentage of the result and I could said that we, sec5 cohort, did extremely well. The distinction rate was much higher compared to next year as well as the national rate. All this should credits to Mr Wong for being a good teacher.

Okay, I know I should feel embarrassed because I just kept on crying, even before I went to take my result. Seeing all my friends got so well, I seriously felt happy for them. First, was Jueying, she got an A2. Followed by, Cindy and Jasmine who got an A1 and Stephanie, A2 too. Well done, friends. Well, all of you missed out about Azlynn. She was totally stunned by her own result. A girl who always got C6 in her examinations, and now she got an A2! :)

When Mdm Sumrah and Miss Shamilah released my result, I tears again. Although I got an A2 and I aimed A2 before I got back my result, but seeing my friends did so well for their Mother Tongue, I also wished that I could even done better and aim an A1. Well, I doubt I will be retaking as I would rather use the time to concentrate on my weakest subjects, like Social Studies(E8 for CT). Although at first, I was quite confused whether to retake because Mr Wong kept on recommending me to retake. So, I made up my mind, not to.

Hope it's a good decision, Meiyan.





This advise was from Mr Wong and he wrote for whole class. I truly appreciated everything he had done for the class. Despite falling asleep in his class during lesson, he didn't give me up and yet, he kept on pushing me further. He's a great teacher! :D

Jueying: We've got the same result and all these are the rewards of our effort in our Mother Tongue. Now, aim for your distinction in your Maths and POA, I believe you can do it. As for me, I'll try my very best to aim for distinction too. Although, I did it for my Maths in CT, I'll still afraid that I can't make it in O level. So, guide me along, all right? And we shall strive for our best and show others our women's ability. :D

Jasmine: Yes! You just got it for the A1. I believe your parents are proud of you. Although it's only a subject but this has shows the beginning of the success. With your continous hardwork, the rest of the subjects scoring an distinction are merely nothing to you. :D

Benjamin: Hey Maths tutor, although you didn't do well this time but never give up all right. Retake it and aim for a distinction in the Nov paper. With all our supports, I can assure you that nothing is impossible. Don't tears anymore, all right.
I don't mind going out for study group and help each other in weak subject. You can ask me anything you can weak in and I can ask you in anything I'm weak in. All right? Cheer up! :D

Okay, I shall blog about these past two days activities and sad to say, I didn't manage to open my books and start my revision on this two days.

Friday
We were to reach the school at 7 in the morning. First time I have to wake up at 5am and get ready for school. When we first entered the school, the school looks so grand and everything were set up nicely. We were then called up to the hall while waiting for the minister to arrive. Also, it's the first time I will listen attentively to speech said by Ms Cheng and Mr Mah.

Before we sang the national anthem, the balloon held up at the ceiling were released.







After that, we went to the first and always sculpture to take a picture of it.

Happy 43rd National Day :D

I was supposed to go out with Zuan Zhe but last minute, I decided to go for a check for my infected leg. I could say that I was lucky to see the doctor yesterday if not, it would be worst. Now, whole leg was like infected. A visit to 24-hours family clinic cost me a bomb of 44bucks, including of injection, which had made me nearly tears.

After which, we went to interchange Mac to take a rest and I quickly complete my POA homework. At 5, we met up with Yiheng and his friend at MRT station and made our trip to Clarke Quay for dinner at Riverside Indonesian Restaurant. We had the charcoal BBQ grills set. Oh my god, I fell in love with the chicken wings. I will make my trip to there again! (o:

We quickly made our way back to Marina Square to catch up with the firework. This year fireworks seem to be more shorter compared to last year. The fireworks taken was not that clear and beautiful but I took the picture of the Mandarin Hotel which kept on flashing pictures.







So, when will I start my revision? Prelim is just 2 weeks away.

Anon, I've seriously disappointed in you. I didn't know that dog will be so attracted to my blog. There's no bones here to attract you at all. I think the SPCA should be send you back. Also, I didn't know that Anon is such a coward person because he has to ask his anon2, and anon123456 to help him. At least there is not only 1 dog missing but 3. As you said, I won't be entering polytechnic or ITE. Can you? If you can, shall we meet up in polytechnic next year? Never mind, I don't mind meeting you up in polytechnic. I'm a civilize person, not like you, so I won't be cursing you that you can't make it to polytechnic. Celebration for the school official opening ceremony will be tomorrow. We are supposed to report to school at 7 in the morning. I think it might be a tough task for me but I will try.

E-maths lesson was to do a paper 1 test and I think I will score an A2 for it if I have 1 more mark. Well, it's okay since it does not counted in the progess card. Physic lesson was horrendous. Mr Leong kept on scolding us non-stop. But frankly speaking, I think our class is much more united compared to last year. More study groups are formed with our own classmates and sometimes, Hongwei will even goes over to Faiz's house to help him. Maybe more people have slacken in their studies and academic, thats why Mr Leong was so agitated.

Thus, Physic lesson ended 1 period earlier. Jueying, Jasmine, Huishan, Cindy, Kylie, Azlynn, Desmond, Yiheng and I went to Tampines mart to have our lunch and to complete our POA homework. Jueying, Jasmine, Cindy and I were totally looked stressed up. We consoled each other non-stop. Haha. Able to study with them is not a bad thing at all, they will simply keep their mouth shut and keep on doing the homework.

Well, I think I'm the most noisiest down there. Sorry if I've distracted all of you. :D

Cross country was held at Pasir Ris Park this morning. The ranking had changed from top 20 to top 10. Well, none of our classmates manage to emerge the top 10 except Afiq. It's quite challenging to compete with the Express as most of them are from Volleyball and Netball.

I went home to have a bath and get changed before meeting up with Jasmine and Jueying. I was not in the good mood this afternoon so Jueying called Jasmine and Kylie down to Jasmine's block to have a chit chat session.

Jueying: Your consolation has makes me feel much better after the incident. Although you kept on saying that you do not know how to console but as what we chatted this afternoon, presence can means the great significant. Also, thanks for bringing two packets of tissue papers and accompanied me to the polyclinic. I shall join you guys in the chit chat session more often. :D :D :D

Jasmine: Today was the first time having the chit chat session with you under your block. The feeling was fabulous. All of you gave me different advises and cheered me up by saying jokes. I seriously appreciate it. I know it's not an easy task to forget someone who you have loved so much. I believe you can sense his presence and believe me, he's always around you, protecting you. Work hard and do your parents proud! :D :D :D

Time for revision and homework! I think tomorrow will be getting back Physic and English common test. Phew, at least I pass my english. Now, I should try to improve and aim for one grade higher. :D

Sometimes I'm quite pity all these childish KID because they have show others that they do not have a life. Those KIDS merely think that surfing around for people's blog and spam comment will looks cool. Hey small kid, I will prove you wrong! You think you are very proud of all these by commenting people's blog, I will tell you straight to your face that you are wrong. Well, it's pointless to say so much and explain those logics to someone who is just a small kid.

School as per normal today. We spent nearly 1 hour sitting at the parade square to listen Ms Cheng's talk and my lower part of the body was about to numb. Mr Leong and Ms Cheng then talked to us about the official opening and they said there will be a surprise for us. Well, till now, I still can't think of the surprise.

Benjamin: So, when are you coming back to join us for Maths lesson. Lesson without you indeed quite quiet and boring. However, sometimes you are seriously too noisy. Faster come back to join us and teach us Maths, all right and don't care about A-Maths for now first. Haha.

We were to proceed back to class at 2.30 to get back our Social Studies paper and as usual, I failed again. However, Mr Said said that failure doesn't mean the end. We should learn for our mistakes and do well for O's.

So, work hard Meiyan :)

It's finally the week of the school's official opening and Beijing Olympic Games.

School has organised some activities for everyone but I think I will less likely be participating in those after school activities like lunch-time concerts. I would rather spend my day at home revising my weakest subject, Combined Humanities.

As for today, Benjamin, Yenny, Jeffrey, Jasmine and Cindy were being presented certificates for their academic achievement for N's level. Gary and I was at the parade square grumbling that we should go up to get the prize too because we were only 1 grade lower than them. Haha. After the prize presentation, we were to proceed back to our class. So as per normal, Miss Ng came in and wanted to go through POA but she ended up scolding everyone of us because some of them didn't complete their homework.

After that, those achievers for last year O's and was from 5N were to have a talk with us on how they excel. I'm sorry to say that, it does not really help me alot. Some people said that it motivated them while it does not apply to me because I think that different people have different abilities and study methods.

Worst still, they were like here to tell us about their courses in Polytechnic and not telling us how to excel. I think it's quite a waste of time. So, we had our break earlier because Dr William Tan will be giving us a motivational talk at 1030. I was totally amazed by the big fan which had fixed in the hall few months back. The wind was astonishing. Dr William Tan's talk wasn't as motivational as I think. Okay, I better don't make so much comment on that.

English banding was cancelled today. My new hair cut might let me have difficulties in running because it will drop whenever I run. HOW HOW HOW? It's finally last year running for cross country. I do not want to miss a try.

So, am I suppose to hold my hair while running? :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

I MISS MY HAIR.

Smellier girl (Stephanie, who always think she's nice, whereby she's not ) asked me out for hair cut this afternoon. So, I agreed. We went to 201 salon and I seriously regretted it.

Can you imagine a hairstylist cut your hair while watching television? NO SENSE OF SECURITY! I'll never ever go to that salon again.

Yesterday was a relaxation day through out. Despite some thing happened at home during 4am the previous night and an idiot who had pranked called me at 3am, I managed to wake up at 8.30am and met up with Jueying, Yiheng, Benjamin, Cindy and Zuanzhe at 201 Mac to complete our POA homework.

Jueying, I seriously appreciated what you have done for me. Being there for me when I'm down and troubled. Comfort me and lend me your shoulder when I tears, real thanks.

Brother Heng, I know you seldom online and read my blog but I will remind you to take a look at this. Thanks for comforting me yesterday. You are such a nice talkative brother I ever had. Next time if you are down, I can lend you a listening ear. All right?

Cindy, thanks for bringing me to your mother's workplace to see breads and listen to Derrick's new song. Haha.

Cindy was like making a fool out of herself yesterday. Jueying and Yiheng was busy decorating their mayonnise.



After that, I went to Parkway Parade alone to get my pimple gel. I know it's like a fool to travel all the way there but the price there was absolutely cheap. Instead, it is cheaper $3 compared to Watson or Guardian.

Then, I travelled back to Bedok to meet up with Zuanzhe and had our lunch-teabreak at the Segar Thai restaurant. After our lunch, we joined Stephanie and Yufang outside Nihon to the Garden party @ Central Park. Almost half of our classmates was there too. We reached there around 6.30pm and they said that we were only allowed to get our foods at 8. So, we walked around aimlessly then we saw Indian man holding on to a snake.


So, Hongwei took the pic with the snake and from then, I finally found him quite man. Haha.


Lincoln was actually supposed to kiss the snake.

After the picture taking with the snake, Elmo and Barney was behind us. So, we quickly took the opportunity to snap a few pictures with them.


And it's the first time I see elmo with two horns.



Oh ya, I also made a spray tattoo on my arm but the pictures was with Stephanie. Till now, the tattoo still cannot be wash away. I think my tattoo is the nicest among the rest. :)

At around 8, we divided ourselves up to collect the foods then we will gathered at the playground behind.


And obviously, you can see that how long the queue was.

Then we placed our place along the side of the playground and it looked real cool.



After the dinner, some group was sitting at the playground chit-chatting and some was like climbing here and there at the Badminton court.





Stephanie organized everyone to sit in the middle of the Badminton court to play 007. Yiheng had secretly took a pic of us at the second level but I have not receive the photo yet. I bet it looks cool. Haha. In order to save the food, the loser of the 007 will get forfeit and had to eat the leftover foods.

We rushed back to the celebration scene to wait for our lucky draw result. But before that, we were to sing the national day songs before releasing the result.





Whatever it is, none of us got the lucky draw. Haha.

Although it was quite sad but yesterday was sort of to bond ourselves to be closer.
