LIVE IN THE PRESENT
when i was living in hawaii, i surfed ALOT. an average of 5 hours per day.....it was lovely, i was young, tan, carefree, and very happy. (and still am :) I am not sure which one of my friends had a surfboard that had these words written across the stringer in the middle of the board, it said
"BE HERE NOW"
thats some pretty dang good advice. we only have the now, the past is gone, we cant control the future, we can however truly savor the present moment and make the most of TODAY. The great this about this philosophy is that it makes the past great with amazing memories and it makes the future bright because we know that whatever we will be doing will be 'the good and right thing'
be present in your own life. when you are with your lover give them your all, when you are with your kids give them your all, when you are excercising give it your all....not your all out effort but surrender to the moments and soak them up. After all what is life really about?
I love listening to Dr wayne dyer for this exact reason, read his stuff, listen, absorb, expand,LIVE And
"BE HERE NOW"
You are the only one that creates your reality

get inspired and go DO SOMETHING
For Christmas i got an awesome book. Force of Nature by laird hamilton....he's a pro surfer and just an all around epic athlete.
this quote was in the prologue
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail way from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in you sails. EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER. -----mark twain
Commit right now to something that is epic for you and go to work
