when will the time come when people will stop looking and judging? is it when a person passes away and people stop getting a thrill out of judging another as inferior?
when the heart is set, arent things supposed to start falling in place? why so much obstruction?

work makes people "brain-dead". at least i feel so. somehow, it is very hard for me to find things to blog about these days.
Monday was spent at Mulligan's Irish Pub @ Clarke Quay... the burger was pretty good. but the seabass was disappointingly dry. and the food took really long to come and we concluded that we won't ever go back there for another meal. The place is just next to the fountain area though and it is a nice place to have some drinks and chit-chat with a group of friends. I was so disturbed by the slow service that i did not even take any pictures of the food! :(
Anyway, Thursday was much better. Starting off with "Monster Green" Lager at the Red Dot Brewhouse at Boat Quay. It is brewed with spirulina to give it its green colour and apparently has anti-oxidants to boost the immune system. I'm not sure how true that is, but at least the it did not taste too weird. :)
Then, we went to L'Operetta which was one of the restaurants we saw on the way to Mulligan's on Monday. It caught our attention because it was new and one of the few western restaurants along Boat Quay. The food was great!

Nice view from L'Operetta, with a full moon and clear skies. We could see the lights from Marina Bay Sands as well! They were having their official opening ceremony.
Seafood Fritters with Homemade Tartar Sauce. The seafood was fresh and the tartar sauce was yummy. I think I love it because it is more sour than the normal tartar sauce in other places.
Pescatora pizza - very fresh seafood used and yummy tomato sauce. comes with a free beer too... Yummy!
