Wahooo I had an awesome time at West Coast Park today. There was a sports fiesta and it was open to the public for free. I went to try out many different types of sports which are kinda unknown or unpopular here in Singapore.
Trikke Carving
Suitable for all age. Quite easy to play as well, just have to sway from left to right to start the scooter moving. My Mum was playing this also lol :D
Jumping Jacks
To my surprise there was this jumping jacks booth!!I remember posting about this on my blog 2 or 3 years ago that I was interested to buy it. Due to the cost I had better dropped the idea x.x
Queued up for at least an hour despite the short queue. There were like only 3 or 4 instructors at the booth and one instructor has to attend to each participant until the latter feels comfortable and steady. It was my turn and off I go. I had to rely on the instructor for support from the moment I stood up from my seat and walked to the open space. Then he told me some tips on how to stand properly and made me do marching on the spot for 10 sets to see whether I could be stable enough to play on myself later. So...I managed it and then off he went to attend another participant.
I tried walking around, speed up a little bit and jumped (almost fell). Uh well not trying to act pro but since this is a rare opportunity for me, I might as well do whatever I want to maximise my experience. I saw the good players jumping don't know how many feet high! In the end I just walked around in the open space and test my confidence to run (failed .__. its not easy)
Overall, it was really a fun and enjoying experience! :D
Laser Clay
WOAH I was addicted to this and played 3 rounds of games. If I could I would play more as there was no limits to the number of trials. We have 2 shots per clay and we have to hit the clay while its in the air before it lands. On my very first round of game...waha I kept missing, so did the people challenging against me. Either we forgot to reload, or aim until the clay drops and still haven't shoot, or anyhow shoot. LMAO :D Until quite many clays later then I managed to hit for the first time. WA so happy you know. Then slowly later I know how to aim properly already. Got 6 points out of 15 clays -.-
On my 2nd round after lunch, I managed to hit 2 shots in one clay! Damm happy can! Everyone was like woahhh and looked at me. Initially there was another guy leading with his point, then last few clays he kept missing and I caught up with him. I got the highest score for that round, 12, an improvement :D
After that I went to queue up for Archery, the distance between the archer and the target board so near -_- NP Open House one was much further.
Went back to Laser Clay booth and had my 3rd try. This time round, a lot of people were watching behind the participants. I hit 2 shots in one clay again, and subsequently hitting at least 1 shot per clay. Because everyone kept missing, it then made me looked outstanding, no no not flattening myself, I can feel that everyone was looking at me :o the uncle standing beside me even congratulated me. I felt so delighted. The round finished with me getting 20 points. Some guy even came to ask if I were from air rifle in a joking manner, like so exaggerated O.O HAHA sorry for all the buay ba stuffs you must be feeling sick and yucky now but all these made my day :D
Wa damm wish I could spend my whole afternoon playing this but then it was so blazing hot at one time then gloomy weather at another point of time.
Bossaball!
I came across this sports when I was viewing sports spoof videos on youtube last year. It is a very popular sports in Brazil and Kuwait. I immediately like this as I think it was really cool and interesting! A sports combined of skills from Volleyball, Gymnasium and Soccer. Seeing this booth at West Coast Park today was like another dream came true! The public can get to try this as well. SADLY, I was not brave enough to try out -_-!! I would much probably end up looking like a kid jumping around the bouncy inflatable. So I just stand from afar and looked at the Bossaball players playing. Really regretted not trying it.
There was a ZOVB booth

Wanted to give it a try, but I only see parents + children or young kids playing, no one from my age group played that -.- oh well to save my embarrassment again, I better not try it. If its on water one I would sure go and play without thinking much!
There were many other sports booth as well...but I only play those that I have never tried before.
A day spent in the West Coast Park brings back some memories of my trips there when I was in primary school. Neopets Carnival, family outing, neighbours outing, awesome! :D
This is my most well-spent Sunday of the year :D

Have been using Firefox for the past 5 years already, thanks to David Rachel for the recommendation way back in secondary 2. The most important feature that made me switch to FF is its Tabs function, earlier versions of IE do not have tabs yet. As I am a person who tends to open many tabs for different websites at the same time, IE that time was realy no convenient for me. I have to rollover to all the opened IE browsers to click on the website that I want to see. Furthermore, IE kept hanging on me last time.
Anyway, Firefox have the coolest themes and the best add-ons and plugins.
Flagfox - You can get to see the country,IP address of the website you are surfing is hosted in. I'm not so sure whether it's always the correct country that they will show, but so far all the local domains I visited showed the correct country flag, except for sg.movies.yahoo.com which is located in Hong Kong :o
I don't know, this addon may be silly to you but its kind of an interesting feature for me :D
Next up, the most useful addon ever,
Adblock Plus - Are your frequently surfed websites full of junk context or annoying advertisements. Some of the advertisements may take a longer time to load, thus your loading speed for the website would be decreased too. With Adblock Plus, you do not have to worry about this problem anymore! You can also use this addon to block stuffs that you do not like to see, anything on the webpage!
I shall demonstrate how to use and you will find it really simple :)
#1 Let's say I want to block this advertisement (boxed in red) on this website.

#2 Click on the ABP logo and select "
Select elements to hide"

#3 Rollover your mouse to the desired object you want to block. It will show a red line around the object, in this case, the advertisement.

#4 Click the "
Add Filter Rule"...

#5 Ta-daaa! Now the ad is gone. You can always edit your list of blocked items if you have accidentally blocked something.

And Personas!
http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/gallery/All/Saw the Naruto theme in my browser? Yea you can have your favourite theme as well, with over 35000 different for you to select, ranging from cartoon characters to abstract arts. Simply just rollover to the theme you are interested to have an idea on how it looks like on your browser.
How fun and interesting! :D
All in all, you can customize your browser anyway you want to maximize your internet surfing experience based on your needs and wants!

Somehow search engines are really very straight forward...I believe almost everyone of us have came across this kind of things when we are doing searches on the net, be it for project, assignment, etc.
One example would be this.

I wonder if they are going to do anything about the automatic suggestions, like at least filter those nasty stuffs?

Caught Goemon today!
The graphics and scenes were so superficial that it made you go "omg so fake lol", especially the explosion and flying characters. Kind of ridiculous when a single man could take down such a huge number of enemies =/ Its kinda sad that every good guy has to die -,- and the villain survived despite getting hanged for quite some time.
Some funny conversations like
A : "You have never mention anything about your past or history."
B : "Well I lost my virginity at the age of 15."
A : "Not that!"
and in another scene...when guy C brought guy B to a very beautiful, serene place meant for couples to appreciate the starry night.
B : "You shouldn't bring a guy to such a place."
*C walks away, the princess appeared*
Overall, I still think that the movie is worth a catch :)

Yet another weird dream...
I dreamt that Ris Low was a very good friend of mine. We were playing catching in a shopping mall, chit chatting happily -______-
She seemed nice and friendly in my dream =/
People say that the types of dream are derived from one's activities in the day. I wasn't even thinking of Ris Low for that matter, not a single bit at all!
Anyway, on Tuesday, Keefe brought me to watch the gaia premiere of Alice In Wonderland. THANK YOU KEEFE :D
The movie was cool, but the action part was insufficient. The minute I saw Alice slicing off the dragon's head I was like -facepalm-..why so anti-climax? The 'almighty' dragon just died like that :o
Oh well luckily there were interesting characters in the movie to make up for its entertainment value. Red Queen was damm cute when she shouted "off with their heads!" Her facial expression, all that huge ego! And another quotation from her "he tried to kill me", the greatest shock she had in the movie ahhahaha :D
Went to work with Sheam and Azwan on Wednesday, cheap labour I tell you =/ We had to unload stacks of boxes of stocks one by one and then open them up, transfer all the products into new boxes in which we have to fold them, and then package everything and seal them up and stack them nicely again. We had to do this for 10 palettes, 1 palette with either 28 or 35 boxes. So the whole work took us 2 days to complete, and we are paid $90 only =/
Oh well if I were those fit guy I would treat this job with a different mindset : Getting paid to do gym instead of paying for gym! Now I totally understand how earn is it to earn money and I shall try my best to be thrifty! Avoid over-spending on entertainment, and especially on expensive food.
The weather is getting really extremely warm! Feeling so lethargic as each day passes by. With all that natural disasters recently in Chile, all the more I think that the world is coming to an end pretty soon.

Had a horrible nightmare before waking up this morning. Its so unrealistic and nonsensical but I don't know why were the feelings so real. I strongly believe its because of my daily activities that led to such dreams x.x
The first scene was with my family and my paternal relatives and cousins. We were celebrating Chinese New Year on a main road built on a bridge where everyone stopped their cars and watched fireworks at night. And then something terrible happened, the roads started to crack and cars fell to the big cracks. Everyone panicked and rushed down the bridge and took cover. There I saw the scene of the whole bridge collapsed o.O
The next scene was about an invasion of zombies in the town. Everyone was fighting against them :o I went to some nearby mama shop wanting to buy watermelon to crush zombies. (lolol mama shop sells watermelon? silly dream -.-) But the watermelons were too big I only have enough hands to take one. So I just forget it and went off. I could not remember what happened next =/
Played too much of Plants vs Zombies the past few days already.
Next up, in another dream the people involved are my parents and paternal relatives (again!). There were clones of us, and we each had to fight them.(like some fighting anime like that). I had to fight with another me, but he is totally different in terms of altitude :o The real humans were dying and losing. I kept trying to stab my clone with a knife but I kept missing. The other me was so fast and swift in movement. In the end when I was about to die, for some unknown reason I had wings growing out and I started to fly real high! The flying feeling was damm real and I could see the land underneath. Then some clones flew after me. I flew as high as possible, and decided to kamikazee down at high speed towards the fighting arena. I tried to sacrifice my life to save others. Off I go, and I died in my dream. Immediately after that, I woke up -.-
Weirdest dreams I ever had -.- all the scenes in my dream were not in sequence and with no logic lol.

There are many movies that I wanna watch in the month of March and April!
Alice In Wonderland!
I saw the trailer when I was watching some 3D movie the other time and I think the graphics are cool. All I could remember about this story was Alice falling into a deep hole in a garden and then her adventure starts, that's all, pathetic right -.-?
Watched Avril Lavigne's MV that is played in the movie, the video was awesome but the song was not. She was screaming away and its not pleasing to the ears :S
Next up,
Kick-Ass!Saw the trailer when I was catching Wolfman last Friday. Damm epic and amusing. Its coming out in April, I am looking forward to it :D
And some other movies like
Goemon ; some Japanese ninja/samurai/warriors war and
Kaiji ; some gambling movie? Gonna burst my pocket soon. Will try my best to watch all the movies I want before 6pm on weekdays to enjoy student price :D

Wow wow my last blog entry was in November :o I wonder if I have anyone viewing my blog anymore since it was not updated for months, but anyway if you came to visit during this period of time, thanks for supporting!
I was kinda busy for school since the 2nd term onwards. And now, exams have just ended and I have regained my freedom :D
Its time to play hard and do things that I was not able to do during school term. Must really treasure this holiday well and not complain about boredom.
I'm looking for job so if you have a lobang please tell me, be it part-time or those one-day job. I was surprised when my brother told me that he stopped taking allowance from my parents ever since he was year 1. Some hinting to me that I should get my lazy ass off to work this holiday for my own pocket money. Meanwhile during the holidays, I would also want to catch up with all my friends! And also, watch tons of dramas and movies, visit places that I have never went before, as well as buying clothes!
From now all, I shall make some efforts into posting random and interesting stuffs to keep this blog alive. Stay tuned :D

NP got flooded yesterday. Oh well probably this is the 9876543th time you have read this on your facebook/msn.People get fascinated because they have never seen floods in Singapore before...
It reminds me of a flood in Malaysia many years ago while sitting inside my Dad's car during Chinese New Year. The flood was at least half-knee level.Absolutely nothing serious compared to floods in other parts of the world.
Back to the floods in NP..Heck funny. So many water leakages all around the school.Firstly, the mini waterfall at Makan Place, apparently it poured from a light source but the bulb continued to shine = waterproof! How contradicting,Makan Place is supposed to be the newest building in NP yet this kind of thing happened! Next, water leakage in the school library...wow this really speak a lot about the inner structures of the buildings, reminds me of my secondary school.BUDGET.
After lunch,we all had to walk to some ulu block in school for our lessons and then the roads were all flooded till ankle level.Quite many students and lecturers were stuck at one corner.Have to walk barefooted as I was wearing covered shoes.Cockroaches and frogs and all kinds of creatures crawling out of the soil.I believe that most of the students were hoping that lessons would be canceled =x
Oh damm those toilets, the floors were all flooded with I don't know what's that greyish dust-like things all floating around.Yucks.All the cleaners must be extremely busy yesterday and worked extra hours. Hope they get their pays much higher for helping the school to clear the mess, since Makan Place is dry and clean today!
INPH presentation turned out pretty good today. Was praying so hard that I would not forget what to say while presenting,in the end I forgot to mention some a number of points but well its alright since its OVER :) Next PBL presentation would be for CMB which is like...January.
Pretty worried for my CATS presentation next wednesday whereby my group decided to meet and start working only on Tuesday! So unprepared lor...IS SUCKS.except for Tennis :D
