May

This month has flown by! I can't believe it is already almost over! I am glad too though because it means it is summer!!! Woohoo! The SAGE test got pretty stressful for me the last few weeks of school so I am looking forward to the break! The other weekend the boys and I did their schools 5K! Lots of fun!
Doran pulled out a tooth all on his own! It is the fourth tooth he has lost.
Seth got me an awesome Giants Super Bowl ring for mother's day. I love it so much!
Doran had an Author's Fair at school. We got to go and look at all that he has worked on all year. It was so fun to see the progress in his work and see what he chose to write about.
It was also circus day for the first graders so he was dressed up like a ring master!

We have been spending as much family time together as possible! Seth is getting a bit more overtime the last little bit so we love when we get to spend time with him. This last weekend was rainy so we went to 2 movies! X-Men Day of Future Past was awesome! Godzilla... Not so much.

On memorial day I took the boys to Poppy's grave. They are getting used to it. The first year they were totally freaked.
My Mom and Kevin met us there. She wanted everyone to have on something camo because Poppy's bootcamp and he loved camo. I sure do miss him.

gardens and abscesses

The other day I took the boys to the Tulip Festival. It is one of my favorite places there is! It is always so beautiful!
The boys were not excited about going, but ended up loving it. They saw some garden snakes and thought that was really cool and they loved the huge fish!

I had to take a ton of pictures. None can ever really capture how beautiful it really is there, but I tried.

Another kids workshop in the books. They are getting excited because once you do ten you get a special pin. They are two away!
Brock got a goal in his soccer game. He was very proud of himself. They have both been playing so hard every game. It makes me happy to see them try so hard!
I babysat Audrey for probably the last this weekend. They are moving to California. I am pretty sad because I really grew to love her. I will miss her!
Sunday was May 4th... Also known as May the Fourth be with you day... Star Wars day! We watched episodes 1, 2, and 3!

Monday was not a very fun day for poor Brock! This tooth is going to be the death of me (and isn't very enjoyable for him either)! Saturday during his game we noticed he had big pockets of infection in his gum above where he had the tooth pulled in February. The dentist office was able to get him in Monday morning. They did x-rays and you could see the infection and abscess still in his gum. They had to lance and drain it and gave him another antibiotic. I really hope this is the end of it! Poor baby!

I took him to the store after and let him pick out a treat! He is definitely Seth and my child! Ice cream! Yum!

Easter and Soccer and Programs... Oh My!

The boys had such a great Easter weekend! They both started soccer and the Yakiwchuks came in to town so they got to hang out with their cousins!

We spent a lot of Saturday at soccer games. After Doran's soccer game I was walking away and I heard someone say, "Wow! Doran sure is a natural!" I turned around there was Mrs. Yellowhorse, her husband, and baby. They came to watch his game! He had wrote her a letter and drew a map for her asking her to come and she did. I couldn't be more grateful that he had such wonderful teachers this year. We really lucked out. I will always be grateful to her for doing that and how much that meant to Doran.
That weekend was really exciting for another reason too! He got to color Easter eggs. Jen found these decorative eggs that you can dye like a real egg for him! He was so excited! I was glad Jen found them. She hunted them down!

 Coloring fake eggs!

Grandma and Papa K made dinner after and all the kids chowed down on salmon, bread, and veggies!

Sunday morning Seth worked so the boys and I brought breakfast to him and his co-workers. I am glad we were able to do that and spend a little more time with him on the holiday.
The boys were the most excited for Granny's Easter egg hunt. They talked about it for weeks leading up to it!

Brocky had his Kindergarten program last week. He had a speaking part in it. I thought it was going to be a nightmare teaching him his two sentences, but I only said it once to him! He memorized it that fast!
He said his line really fast during the program, but it was adorable! All the little kids were so happy and excited!

There they all are with Mrs. Baird! She is a great kindergarten teacher! I am so glad that we switched the boys to this school! I love everything about it!
Seth and I snapping a gym selfie! We got free selfie shirts that were backwords so they would be normal in a mirror selfie. Pretty clever. Seth signed up with Team Heugly this week! I am so excited! I hope this year he and I can do a competition together! He is going to tear it up! He is so motivated and dedicated. I am so glad he taught me about weight lifting and being healthy and that we have been doing this together! It is such a fun thing to be a part of together!
The boys soccer games this weekend were wet and crazy! It was pouring and freezing during Brock's. We assumed it was cancelled, but we found out after that they played about half of it. Oops! Doran's end up being even rainier, but we went and he played his little heart out! He was drenched! He went home and took a hot shower and requested hot cocoa and soup! They are good boys! Dang I am lucky! I have the best hubby and the best kids! There is nothing more I could ask for!

We are getting good use out of our aquarium membership! We went again this Sunday and it was almost all full this time! The stingrays were there and everything was full! It was awesome1

Here is what a bodybuilding family's cart looks like at Costco! We aren't messing around here!

I found a couple pictures from my show online. Can't wait to do another one and see improvements! Working hard every day!
