Met up with yibing, qinlei and darius for dinner at....bedok! Yes that's super far...but apparently darius had hao jie shao. Ahem. He made us walk quite a distance to a coffeeshop to eat um...zi cha (rice with dishes) :S Stupid darius. Ok la but the food was really not bad. Super spicy though - sambal kangkong, sambal sotong, sambal stingray, satay and some noodles. Haha we were super super full (and in need of water) after that! We also made a sort of pledge to always keep in contact with each other.. So sweet huh :P




Here's evidence of our promise to each other (both with and without darius - he was an afterthought..plus his hand was too ugly) :D

Yea my yrmates n i at my birthday dinner! :) They gave me really nice presents too :) Plus I finally got to meet xizzy piggy who came back from germany! (She bought me my favourite rum-n-raisins chocolates) We ate at sushi tei and I got to eat nice salmon :) yum! Xizzy and I were being stupid as usual...see us pointing at the oh-so-beautiful umm.. lightbulb? Sweet eh? :P The decor at sushi tei was really nice - they just renovated it I think..The second floor is really nice!


Yitty wang and Zhendenini, being the shopaholics they are, got seduced by the t-shirt shop in Holland V for a good whole 30 min? Right, xizzy n fifi?

Oh anyway back to the nice presents...I got a top (a good candidate for my prostitute dance costume), a nice silver handbag and umm...some other really nice useful stuff :) I love it! Thank you so much darling yrmates :) I love you :)

This is the last surprise :) It is also the last post for my bday...read it from the bottom up yea? Ok see this ugly photo here? Yes this was taken in one of my crazy moods and my dear boyfriend happily blew it up and printed it on the back of a t-shirt! :(

See the striking resemblance? Haha I got the waitress over and asked her if she recognised the person on the t-shirt. She looked thoughtful for a while and then started laughing.. :D Anyway dar dar decided to wear it for a few days before giving it to me, to imbue his smell into the t shirt (cos I always kop his HC pe t-shirts home to sleep in - his smell is comforting :D ) and I thought that was super hilarious!

This t-shirt had to be the highlight of the day! :D I love it! And I'm wearing it right now :) :) All in all, it was a wonderful day, filled with lots of surprises and food..

I seldom blog about yinghao or mushy stuff but just for this once, bear with me.. :) I think you are a wonderful boyfriend and I really enjoyed myself :) So thank you dar, for a most wonderful birthday :)

Next surprise was dinner! I was really surprised cos I was SO full from high tea! But of course, dar dar was clever enough to know that I can never resist jap food, so we ended up at a jap restaurant, ordering MORE food.

This is some paper pot thingy. So cool right? There was also this leaf thing (which we didn't order), where they cook the food over a fire on a leaf and the slogan went "Why leaf never burn?" Haha.

And of course, this is the birthday girl gleefully preparing to help herself to the yummy-mummy-goody food :D :D

After that, we proceeded to Far East to walk around... Dar kept insisting that I shop for a new wallet (which I need to get really soon - lost mine remember?) at his expense, but I wasn't in a wallet-ey mood :D After much cajoling however, he managed to get me to remain in a shop long enough so that he could "go to the toilet". Haha of course, the smart me figured sth was up, but I didn't expect to see him walking back carrying this!

Very nice right!!! I love it! Not the usual baby's breath and what not..this is apparently called umm...called..hunter's mix? Sth like that la. I'm not a florist. Sue me.

And of course, I just had to bug some innocent passer-by to help us take a photo :D I'm so irritating, ain't I? :)

Ok i know i didnt complete the previous posts on my birthday, so here :) See all the yummy-mummy-goody food? YUM! Heh dar remembered that i like to eat desserts, so he brought me to...... High tea at goodwood park! Very very nice :) I still think of the cakes and salmon now.. -drool drool slurp-
