Saying good-bye to 2010

Time really flies. A year passed so quickly.
I'm already in my last year of education in poly.
It has been a great year spent, with my beloved family & friends.

In about 4 days time, it's going to be my birthday! My 19th Birthday!! (:
This holiday is going to be real busy. Meeting up with our my dear friends! I miss them sooo much.
Christmas is coming! This also mean that new year is round the corner too! Gonna spend quality time with my family & friends during this holiday.

Know that it has been quite some time since I've write a post. Guess I'll be changing the design & layout of the blog for a new start next year!

It has been a while since I've blogged. My friends are all complaining that my post is outdated. haha!
So i'll just do a brief summary of what i've done for the past few weeks.
Recently has been REALLY BUSY with projects. endless projects for us. Finally got a short break this weekend.
Other than school work & events, I spend most of my time with my dearest family & friends.

And yesterday, we celebrated sixuan's 20th bday which falls on 31st Jan.

Overall, I had bad + good days. Bad is that for the past few weeks we were really packed with projects. Many of us didn't rest well, eat well and some fall sick. BUT then..the good thing is that, we finally finished 3 reports &2 presentation yesterday! Upcoming there'll be 2 more new projects to work on. -.-

CNY is round the corner, in a about 2weeks time. I LOVE CNY!! BUT....after cny, I've got EXAMS :/
which means that, i can't really enjoy to the fullest. have to leave some time for revision.

I'm happy that some of them still smsed me even if they are overseas.

We played monopoly in my room after eating the cake. haha. We were so engrossed in playing that we forget about the time.
In the evening, we headed to amk to watch the new moon. After the movie, they came to my house again! We ordered 2 large pizza and we managed to finish everything. HAHA.

[ Mr & Ms SP 09/10: 20 Nov ]

Last friday, my friends and I attended an event organised by spsu.
WHICH IS...MR & MS SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC! It's a pageant competition.
This year, I'm attending as an audience. Thus, it is much relaxing compared to last year.
Last year, I was part of the committee for mmsp 08/09, under the publication team.
Although it was tired & busy organizing the event, it was a good experience that I had :)

[ Jeremy's B'day surprise: 22 Nov ]

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JEM! The actual day of the bday boy's birthday is on the 19 of Nov. However, we celebrated with him on Sunday.
haha. The surprise was quite successful :)
Overall, that day was real fun! though is a short one.
We played a few games that were funny. There were cake eating & balloon bursting competition. I was part of the cake eating competition, against xf. Of course i was given a smaller piece of cake to eat as i'm a girl. haha. So, the result is that....I WON! haha. can't believe it right.
We did video them down but i'm having some difficulties uploading it on FB.
So, you shall wait. haha.

Oh man, MST are coming. 6 modules to be tested. AND..we don't have any study week.
I really have to study hard for my tests!! :)
So, won't be updating my blog till my MST are over.

[Cousins day out & photo shoot] - 15.11.09

I shall briefly talk about what has happened today & yesterday.
Today, I went out with my cousin & sis to vivo.
We had some photo shoots there as well as at orchard. the photos were taken for my cousin's assignment.
The afternoon photo shoot was taken at vivo. After that, we went cineleisure kbox! haha. We sang for 4hrs.
After singing, we carried on with the night photo shoot before going home.
Overall, it was a fun day that I've spend with my cousin & sister :)

[APEC 09]- 14.11.09

Yesterday, I went to work for the APEC event at esplanade.
I was allocated as the food server for the Chinese cuisine.
Before the event started, all of us had to do makeup & hairdo. It was done by people hired by the company.
The hairdo was alright. just that the fringe isn't very nice. BUT, i don't like the make up at all. It's too thick.
the eyeliner was too thick. my eyes look so black. Had a hard time washing the eyes as well as my hair, which was full of hair spray.
My job was kind of easy. but my legs were tired after long hours of standing.
I knew some friends through this event. some from sp, np & nyp. really nice knowing them :)

Didnt take much photos after the event because fazz & I had to rush for the last train.
