KATHERINE'S
1ST APPROACH OF ABC SONG

my sweetest thing sang ABC song
TODAY
although the pronouncing was blurry and draggy
plus she only sing until the alphabet "G"
BUT
her tone and the music
was totally on the right track
"I'm so proud of you sweetheart"
I have the best-est daughter
one could ever had
she is only 17months
= 1year 5months

NOW

she knows how to

put "tu-tu" in her mouth herself

get ready "lying down position" when she saw the milk bottle

drink milk by holding the bottle by herself

stand up herself without support

walk on her own "freely"without holding on to my hands

squat down and rest after a long walk N signed "ahh~"

put lotion on to her face
(she imitate me cause she sees me do it everyday)

shampoo her own head
(she learned it from a shampoo advertisement)

squat down to let us wash her butt
(known it ever since she knows how to crawl)

inform any adults who is with her when she wet her diaper
(known it ever since she knows how to crawl)

pass things to you and take things to the rightful owner
(mummy and daddy taught her that)

wave bye-bye to everyone including strangers
(we taught her that when she turns one)

clap her hands when we ask her to
(we taught her that when she is before or 6months old)

pad her own chest when she is afraid
(we taught her that when she is 8months old)

pray to our GOD whenever she sees a temple
(my mama and father in law taught her that)

do the hand sign of "shame-shame"
(my mama taught her that)

use her hand to close her mouth when she laugh widely
(she surprise us cause she imitate sister and know it ever since)

turn her head down to a side when she is shy

drinks water from a cup and straw
(she hates plain water, she will pretend that she was choked by it)

play pretend eating and drinking
(she will laugh a loud whenever she do it)

plays pretend cooking
(i taught her that)

plays pretend shopping carrying a hand bag
(she imitate my mother-in-law)

plays pretend talking on the hand-phone
(learns that on her own)

plays pretend on using computer and mouse
(imitate her daddy's pattern)

dance when she hear a songs
(she love Justin beiber)

sing-a-long with the song she heard
(she love Hokkien song"AI")

recognized tidbits packaging
(she know it herself)

say mumm-mumm when she sees people eating
(daddy taught her that)

call daddy to the right person
(daddy taught her that)

seldom call mummy but she will if she wants to
(she like pointing at me when i ask her to call MUMMY)

give hints by pointing on the thing or object when she wants it
(she learn it herself)

make a fuss when she can't get what she wants
(she learn it herself)

hide her "fuss" from her daddy
(learned it herself)

will check if daddy is watching when she do something wrong
(learned it herself)

will hug and kiss us
(we taught her that)

give flying kisses to people in shopping center
(we taught her that)

smile sweetly at handsome guys
sometimes keep touching their hands
and want them to carry her
(learned it herself)

watch TV on her own at sofa
(daddy taught her that)

come down from the sofa herself
(her great grand mama taught her that)

wear land yard around her neck
(my sister taught her that)

look at the camera during video and photo taking
(learned it herself)

will stop at places with dimmed or no light
insist of getting carried up or adults to accompany her
(learned it herself)

put ear phones in her ear to listen to music
(my sister and me taught her that)

slide open I phones on her own
(daddy taught her that)

these are the things she learned in 17months
this is how fast a child can learn things at early age
so parents must take note and teach right values
when they are young
it will affect your child's life
