movie marathon

met the physics peeps after they're paper this morning.
well.it's supposed to be a class outing..
but as usual,
only the usual turned up.
like how united is our class la.
hahaha.
ohwell.we shall attempt better the next time round! :D
so anyway,
we went to eat at BK first before watching superman returns.

all in all,it was fun.

we went to holland village and settled at..

which is what i miss so much from the sec sch days.

bought flowers!

anyway.my sleep is disrupted.

from her sleep!
see,i've been sleeping in air con all my life,
but decided to do away with it since sec3.
bad for my breathing.
usually,i don't get the bites,cos the fan is on..
but my father's itchy bitchy fingers had to switch it off when i was drifting in and out of sleep.
i was already having trouble sleeping.
and thanks to him,
i now have a damn swollen earlobe and i'm itchy all over.

was pretty nice.

didn't manage to send them off all the way though..
'cause i didn't bring my passport. :(

i went to the national lib afterwards.
it was quite cool.
going through all the microfilms (my first time!),
trying to find newspaper articles on metrosexuals for pw.
sorry,i just can't hide my fascination over microfilms.at the moment.

was quite a long day.

ADVENTURE TRAIL CHALLENGE 2006!

4 june two OO six.
what a terrific day, really.
the weather was as fine as could be
and the race was a good one.
at least for me! X)
and here's a humongous THANKS! to my team members
michael,lek and wai cheung.
thankyou for the wonderful race,effort,endurance,determination and spirit!
unforgettable.
when we all felt tired and beat under the hot sun;
having to conquer slopes,the sea,the terrain and the long running distances.
thankyou all for your presence and little bits of encouragement! (:
it got us through the approximate 18km run, 4+km kayaking, terrain biking and everything else.
now i understand what it means by,
'the journey is more important than the destination,but the destination is also important'.
the gruelling process bestows you with
experience,memories,joy,pain and many other invaluable lessons
which are of the utmost importance,
but the destination is there in mind to push you;
to shape a more fruitful journey.
it felt real good crossing the finish line and here are the photos taken! :D

feeling pretty reflective today.
thinking of the past, the present, the future.
of what i've been,what i am and how i want to be.
what i have done,what i'm doing,what i want to do.
so many scars,insecurities,imperfection..
we all climb,crawl,struggle,strive to improve and better.
how many things we have to do in an hour,
in a day,
in a life.
so many thoughts race pass,
so many at a time,
too numerous to count till it all blurrs..
everything's mixed and tangled in a mess.
everything blanks.
and the heart follows suit to numb.
then everything seems to tumble out incoherent.
like now.
and all that's left,is the feeling of being a dust speck,

find myself visiting the east more frequently these days.
