Adam and I went down to St. George last weekend. We hung out with his family and went to the home show. It was such a great trip and the weather was amazing!!
His birthday was on Sunday, so we drove back up to make it to the Celine Dion concert!
We had a little birthday party for Robbie (one of his 4) while they were in town, at Jungle Gyms.
Chels, my mom, and I were sitting at the table and suddenly heard Elle yelling "mom" over and over. We look over and she had climbed in one of the arcade games and couldn't get out!!
All over my room, including some Hershey kisses in my bed that I smashed in my sleep!
I did a scavenger hunt for Adam. Made him go around town to some of our "places." It ended up at my cabin in Midway, where I had dinner made. We went ice skating after.. it was a great Valentines!
My brother is selling photo books. They should be pretty awesome. Email him if you want one at taylor@taylorbrubakerism.com or check out his website here.
1. I write in a journal/random thoughts book everyday. If anyone saw it, they would probably pee their pants laughing. 2. I am very particular about public restrooms. If open, I go straight to the handicap one and put two sanitary covers on it. If they are out, I put a lot of toilet paper on the seat. 3. As of the last six or so months, I immersed from being carefree, to overly sensitive, and basically stressed out. I am trying daily to get back to my old self...I like it better. 4. I have three jobs right now and possibly getting one more. 5. I have played tennis since I was seven, but haven't played the last two years. 6. Somehow, I have a belief that I will never get fat, no matter what I eat or how little I work out. It's not true. 7. I was the president of community of caring in high school (oh and cheered for 2 years... sometimes I don't admit it) 8. I think I am a very good judge of character, even if I only meet someone for a couple minutes. 9. I have been through a lot, tried a lot... and I have no regrets. It has been quite a journey to find out who I am and what I want. I am still working on it. 10. I have endless passion for the arts. Every kind, especially photography. 11. I sew some of my own clothes and shop at thrift town often. I love it. 12. I have the most spread out family. We are all completely different, but come together harmoniously and are very close. 13. My mom is an amazing oil painter, but never paints anymore. I don't know why she stopped. 14. I am a very good friend. 15. I have a fascination with the Amish culture. Someday I want to live with them for a week. 16. I love to read. Sadly, the computer has taken over a little bit, but I still love it. 17. I text too much and get made fun of often for being a "mass texter." Sorry! 18. Sometimes I dance alone in my room while getting ready for the day/night. Usually to the Dirty Dancing soundtrack. 19. I once did a homeless black and white film series. I spent four days at the homeless park, only to take the film out too early and ruin all of it. I teared up. 20. I am not a gossiper. I don't like being around it or involving myself in it at all. 21. I do believe that girls and guys CAN just be friends. 22. I am in love with traveling. I have learned more from my experiences thus far, than sitting in school. If you get the chance, GO.. anywhere! 23. I want to be so in love with my future husband that we could go to prison together and not even care... because we would still be together! 24. I am not afraid to speak the truth. If there is something that needs to be said, I will say it! 25. I absolutely love life. I feel like I am the most blessed girl in the world!!
I fell asleep on the couch last night while talking to my family and Adam. I woke up at midnight (when my birthday had officially started) with a trail of roses leading me upstairs. When I got to my room... low and behold... the camera I have been lusting after foreverrr was sitting on my floor! The Canon EOS 5D!!!! What an amazing way to start out my 20th birthday! Thank you soooooooooo much Adam! Now- I've gotta learn how to use it! Here are the first few shots Adam took...
