Spring? Where are you?

This morning.
Alarm goes off, sit up, look out the window..
Thought #1: SNOW? Are you kidding me? I'm going back to sleep.
#2: Nevermind, mom will come rip the covers off anyway.. or sit on the edge of my bed talking to me like I'm already up.
#3: Maybe I could lock the door and she wouldn't come in.
#4: Oh yeah, I dont have a lock on that door. UGHH
#5: I could tell her I dont have my first couple classes?
#6: Ummm I think I used that excuse last week.. dang it.
#7: I really shouldn't have stayed up watching Jef's friend on "That's Amore.."
#8: I can't believe Christina and her mother.. I'm so glad my mom isn't like that.
#9: Oh great, I still havent scrubbed off my tattoo from Saturday night.. and I need to print off my paper.
#10: I WANT SUMMER.
#11: Okay, I'm up. Psh.

a couple more things..

My mom is the best. She is so honest with me.. sometimes too honest. Her advice is pretty much always right, although I dont admit it. I know she would do anything for me. And she wears two pairs of glasses at once. Oh I love Tans!

Mattie spotted the "Waffle House" while we were driving back to our hotel one night. The next morning she HAD to eat there. What Mattie wants, Mattie gets.. so we walk in and I literally felt like I walked onto the set of "The Waitress." Everyone knew each other and talked exacly like the characters in the movie. My mom sat at the bar by this old guy with his Navy book and all his certificates that he had to tell her all about. The waitresses knew him like he was there every day showing everyone his book. It was quite the breakfast experience. Surprizingly, I wasn't a big fan of my waffles.

One more thing.. we decided to drive through Vegas on our way home so we could go to the "Body Exhibit." It was fascinating.. If you get the chance, go!

Rejuvenated.

I had two, seven page papers and four books to read over spring break. I know.. HORRIBLE. My mom was nice enough to take me (and Mattie) down to Arizona to atleast get some sun while doing my homework. I love the warm weather.. I am not ready to leave tomorrow. Oh well, atleast summer is on it's way! I'll get some pictures up later.. Mir and Chels, you will love mom's double glasses.. so classic.
