A Halloween ATC

Mommy and I spent some time in the craft room today and I made an ATC for Halloween!

I found this really pretty black lace that I wanted to use, and Mommy had used the ribbon and stars on a card that she made, so I used them, too!  I also got to use Mommy's shimmer spray to make my bats sparkley!

Thanks for visiting!

1st Day of Horseback Riding Lessons

First, I got to go groom the horses.  I groomed almost all of the horses, except Ruby and Tucker.  The first one was Lilly, but then we had to go to this horse that was white and it had big brown spots all over it and we got to groom that one.  I wanted to groom Midnight, he was black, he belonged to one of my friends at horseback riding, he is just a pony.  We couldn't groom Midnight, because he was too little.  We get 3 different kind of brushes, one is for the face, which is really really soft, then one is hard and rough to comb its tail and mane, and the last one is this little one that's a circle with little tiny points that we slip on our hand and we do circles around with our hand, then we brush it down with the hard brush.  That makes the horses hair soft and pretty.

After we groomed the horses we went over to the practice barrel, it's just a big barrel with holes in it, so it looks like a horse.  Everyone loved my helmet, so I took it off and put it on the barrel and said "Look, it's a Unicorn!"  Then we all did tricks on the practice barrel, then we did tricks on the horses!  I did tricks on Suds and Magic.  Suds is a really big, white horse with teeny tiny brown spots all over him.  Magic is a pretty, small brown horse.  The tricks that I did were hold the reins, then let go and put my hands in the air, then I hold the reins and put my legs straight out behind me, and lift them up, then swing them off the horse and land on the ground.  Then, I get back on the horse, I hold the reins and put my knees on the saddle and I lift myself up and put my hands in the air, while the horse is trotting!   Then I jump back down into the saddle and do a scissor kick dismount!  There were some kids that stood up on the horse, and I wanted to try that, but I couldn't do that yet.

After riding the horses, we went for snack and after snack we went back out and we rode the horses some more and they were trotting and I was really bouncing!  It was fun and I kept laughing!

Then we went home!

I'm so excited to go back again tomorrow!

Emily

Busy making ATC's

(Mommy Here)

Emily was invited to join her Nana and I at a card making workshop this past weekend, and we know that there are ladies that enjoy trading ATC's, so we told Emily she might want to make a few new ones  to trade with!  She had a lot of fun!  I think she traded every ATC she had!

Here are 2 of the newest ATC's that she made last week.

My 3rd Day of 1st Grade

My 3rd day of 1st grade was magnificent!

Today, when I got in my classroom, I went to the cupboard with a orange smiley face on it, opened the door and I put my backpack in the laundry basket and then I hung my coat up in there (my coat was pink).  Then I went back to my seat at my desk.  And then I did what the teacher told me.  My teacher's name is Mrs. Minton-Valley.  She told me to get my pencil box and then I took a pencil and an eraser out of my pencil box and then I had to use my pencil to write letters.  The letter M was first.  We had to figure out which one.  The letters are above the doors with the smiley faces on them.  So then I drew some lowercase m's and then I drew some uppercase M's.  Then I wrote some words and if I wrote 4 words, I get a Dragon Dough!  So I wrote 4 words!  The next letter was S.  And then I wrote a lowercase s, then I wrote 5 words and I got another Dragon Dough.  Then I went to lunch.  I forgot my lunchbox, so I had to order lunch at school and I had a Peppi Pizza Salad with cheese, lettuce and pepperoni.  Then we had 1st recess. Then we went to music, we did the hokey pokey.  And then I sang a funny song, I can't remember the song but it was about a crab.  Then we went to 2nd recess.  Then we went back to my classroom and played a game.  The game was a game where we had to draw a picture of ourselves.  And then, after that was over (I couldn't actually finish mine and I must have been the prettiest picture!) And then it was time to get ready to go, so my teacher, Mrs. Minton-Valley called all the teams Purple, Orange, Green, Blue and Red.  And then each team went to their mailbox after they got their mailbox, then they put everything in thier backpacks to take home, even our take home folders.  Then we went to the bus, the bus was really LOUD!  I read my book in my head, but I got a little bit of a headache because it was so LOUD, just a little bit though.  And then when I got home, I took a little rest watching tv and then I did my chores and ate dinner.

Good Night!!

The End!

Now that I've got my very own space in Mommy's craft room, with all my own stuff, I can make things all by myself and surprise Mommy with how well I'm doing!  :)

I made both of these one day while Mommy was working on her own design team stuff...

I even took the photos myself with my very own camera!

A Skully ATC

My Nana has gotten me into making ATC's and I really like them!

Mommy was working on one of her Design Team cards, and I wanted to use the same stuff she was using, so I made this ATC with a new image from Meljen's Designs

Mommy made an ATC, too.. but she wouldn't let me see hers until mine was done.  I like mine better, the bow is prettier with the skull brad in the center!  Hehe :)

here's mine next to Mommy's

There's a challenge going on at Meljen's Designs that requires glitter, sparkle and shine - since I used glittery paper and shiny, sparkly pens, I think I can enter that challenge, plus maybe a couple more that Mommy will find for me!

My Crafty Corner & A Card I Made

Hi There!

I wanted to show you pictures of the corner (it's not really a corner, but that's what Mommy calls it) that Mommy and Nana set up for me in Mommy's craft room!

I've got my own shelves with paper, scissors, stickers, stamps and a lot of fun stuff!

Here I am working at my desk - you can see that Mommy hung up a magnet board behind me, so I can hang up my cards!

 And, here's a card that I made

Mommy will link this up to some Anything Goes challenges that she found for me

Hugs!

Bathtime!

I like my card because it's cute and because it is funny because a girl is taking a bath in a coffee cup!  I like how I thought that it would be cute if I got the biggest shape and the smaller shapes and put them in order and put the girl in the coffee cup on top and then I put the shapes on top of the card after I put a piece of pretty paper across the card!  And I like the paper that I used for the card and I like the color of her hair!

Thank You, Heather for sending me this fun stamp!  :)

Card Makin Mamas #23

Mommy and I made a lot of cards the other day!

Mommy made a card that I REALLY liked and I wanted to copy her card exactly!  She gave me some of her papers and star brads and I looked at her card while I made mine.  Mommy used her fancy markers on hers, but I used my colored pencils, so mine is lighter.

This was fun and I really love my card!

The challenge at Card Makin' Mamas is to use Red, White and Blue.  Mommy is on their design team.  I used the image that Mommy got from Robyn's Fetish because they are the sponsor for the challenge.

And you can enter the challenge at the Card Makin' Mamas blog.

I'm entering my card into the challenges at:
Pals Paper Arts - Stars
Craft Us Crazy - Red, White & Blue
One Stitch at a Time - Things with Wings

Thanks for coming to see me!
