10 years old!

Laila is now double digits, or ten years old!  For her birthday she wanted to invite some friends from school and some cousins and have a pizza and movie party. Laila also wanted to include one if her favorite activities, making slime!  I think I underestimated how messy making slime with a bunch of kids would be!  Laila also wanted to include another one of her favorite things and picked out a unicorn piñata.  It's hard to believe our spunky girl is now ten!

pumpkin patch

It's finally starting to feel like fall around here and to celebrate we took a trip to the pumpkin patch.  This is one of my favorite fall traditions, it's such a fun place to take pictures.  The other day Evelyn saw a pumpkin at the store and said, "pumpkin pie, my favorite!" Ha, ha!

On Saturday we went to the Houston Zoo to attend Texas Children's Hospital transplant party. It was such a fun event for all the children who received transplants from Texas Children's and their families. They served lunch as well as snow cones and had face painting and carousel rides.  Dahlia invited Lorelei to come with her and the were so cute holding hands as they walked around the zoo together.
