Haircut and a belly

Jace is getting so grown up to me. He his talking like crazy and will copy everything you say. He puts lots of words together and it amazes me how much they really do know at such a young age. He is extremely attached to his Dad right now and often throws fits when he wakes up to him gone. The other day he had to carry a picture around of the two of them until he finally calmed down. He then took a nap and when he woke up, he informed me over and over that "Dadda is fun Mom". I tried to convince him I was just as fun but he wasn't having it.

Jace ready to go to a birthday party at the park with his sweet Spiderman lunchbox

He face planted in the rocks and got some good scabs on his face

Telling me he is 2 now

A random belly shot at 32 weeks. This is only the 2nd picture I have taken of the belly. How sad. last time I took one every week.

He loved opening his presents and was sad when he was done

I finally caved in and decided to give my big 2 year old his first haircut. He did awesome and sat still the entire time. I was quite shocked, if you know Jace he is not much for sitting still.

He looks too old now, but handsome as ever.

He could care less though about getting his picture taken.

The start of Jace's room

It's a work in progress, but it's coming along.
some frames I had from goodwill that just needed some tlc, aka spray paint

the wood from Justin that will get hung on brackets for shelves

also a goodwill find from long ago that just now got painted, currently Jace's shoes are filling this up

This is a project that took less than 2 hours. I threw it together the other night after seeing it on this blog http://restorationfurniture.blogspot.com/. Check their blog out they do amazing stuff. Mine is a quick copy of what they did, but still looks adorable on the wall.

I still have some obvious holes to fill on this huge wall, but it's coming along. This is the wall above his bed.

I had to post some of these adorable pictures of Jace with his bff Evelyn. These two have been friends since birth and are really getting along great now. It's fun for me because her mom Diana and I get along great too and love to do crafts while these 2 run wild and the dads feed their xbox addictions. We are both due with #2 only a few weeks apart. Hopefully our new little men will be best pals as well.

Check out the open mouth kiss

And hugs of coarse. I am so glad Jace is over his phase of throwing things at Evelyn and hitting her. Man that was rough for awhile.

Time to get on the ball

We are going to move Jace into the bigger room and the new baby will take Jace's room. So, this means I need to get both rooms done. I refuse to spend any money right now, so I have set a goal of doing both rooms with mostly stuff I already have that I can revamp. I will have to buy the minimal, spray paint, shelf brackets and a bed spread, but besides that I think I have plenty of crap ready to be turned into boy decor. Today I got started by spray painting some frames, and shelves (aka more wood that Justin gave me). I love the colors. I am keeping the same themes in both rooms so that way if I move them in together their stuff will match. Blue, Green, Orange and Brown will be the colors. Can't wait to get it all done. I will post pictures through out the process. Oh ya, and I am super excited to put up the vinyl I cut today. It's a vintage VW Beetle and is adorable.

Has it really been 11 years?

This Christmas we had all 7 siblings together for the first time in 11 years. That makes a grand total of 29 of us I think. It was so much fun having us all together and all the kids had a blast playing together. We had our family Christmas party on Christmas night out at Lori and Justin's home. It consisted of way too much delicious Mexican food, lots of playing outside and my amazing mom put together a bunch of those minute to win it games for us all to look like fools doing. It was definitely a successful night filled with lots of laughs. My mom gets the grand-kids pj's every year and this year did them matching. The kids looked adorable in them and love to open and put on their pj's every year from Meme and Grandpa.

Jace with his buddy Porter man (don't mind the crazy eyes, my camera was doing really bad red eye)

The Girls

Big Boys

Porter and Grady, I didn't get a good one of all the little boys

Then on Sunday the whole family met to take pictures at the Gold Mine. It was a huge endeavor but my poor mom hasn't had a family picture of us all in like I said the 11 years. We all suffered through the pain of pictures with 29 people, especially my cousin Becca who took them being sick and all. I will post some of the one's she took later, but for now here are some I snapped.
Jon asked this man if he could get a picture with him, because he thought he looked so cool.

He loves to drive anything he can.

Lilly was my model to test out the spots we could use.

Most of the grand-kids minus the Brooks

Grady was hamming it up the whole time, except when he got a splinter.

Doesn't Jon looked thrilled. He did still have pink eye though.

Gotta print some of these truck ones for his room when I redo it. That's a whole task of it's own though since we will be moving him to his big boy bed before the baby gets here.
