Christmas Fun

Diana and I with lots of help from my amazing mother, finished our stockings just in time to get them hung on the wall with our cute boards we made. They turned out so adorable and I might be in love with them. It was definitely a learning process though. The only other things I have really sewn are my curtains, and those were straight lines. Lets just say there may have been some seam ripping and resewing. I also wish I had cut my pattern a lot wider because they turned out pretty skinny. Thanks mom for all your help, what would I do with out you.

Daddy and Jace hanging out at Bass Pro after we were informed Santa was booked for the night. Little did we know that Jace was going to love Santa, or not.

Love my little man

Cute old truck

I really thought he would love Santa, because he had been so excited to talk about Santa and see pictures of him. We waited in line for almost an hour at San Tan Mall and this is what happened. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with sitting on his lap. It was quite fun, with everyone staring at us.

Christmas morning opening his presents. I had to post this picture to remember our trip to Urgent Care on Christmas Eve night. Jace got pink eye and had an ear infection. Jon then woke up Christmas morning with pink eye and my nephew Grady got it a few days later. Man that stuff is contagious.

He loves his pillow pet from Meme and Grandpa. He sleeps with it every night and gets mad at mom and dad when we try and lay on it. It's quite comfy by the way.

Still not feeling well but loving on his Buzz anyway

Ugly Sweater Party and my Birthday

Regan invited us to their annual Ugly Sweater Party and it was hilarious. There was some good competition for the ugliest sweater. Thanks Regan for the invite, we had a blast.
Regan, I just love you!

Those antlers came in my white elephant gift I got.

Regan presenting the three winners.

My Birthday was amazing this year. We stayed 2 nights at a hotel in Scottsdale. My sister gracefully volunteered to watch Jace since we watched her 4 kids for a week. We missed our little buddy, but it was nice to sleep in until 10 and get some quality hubby time in. We pretty much went to the movies and ate too much food. Oh, and did I mention that Jon got me a spa day package at Dolce for my bday and it was the greatest present ever. Four hours of pure relaxation. Thanks Babe for the fun weekend, for putting up with driving to 3 different Starbucks at 10pm because I wanted cider that I ended up making you drink cuz I afterward decided I felt like hot chocolate instead, and for being my best friend even when I am a little crazy. I love you.
Once again cutting our heads off, sorry babe I suck.

Jon is a good sport about me asking strangers to take our picture, except when it's in a restaurant, he thinks that is so tacky, which is why we don't have one of us eating my birthday dinner at the Keg. Gotta love the free bday dinners from the Keg. We splurged and got crab legs and they were divine.

One post at a time

I have so many pictures to post that I may never catch up, but I am going to slowly plug away at all our December happenings. This first post was a few pictures we captured while in Snowflake for my cousins wedding.

My sexy husband

This is Jace's classic "I Funny" face. You will be seeing it a lot because he loves to do it and we can't get enough of it.
Me annoying Jon with always trying to take our picture and then always cutting off one of our heads.

Jace being cute

This dress I wore in family pictures and only a few weeks later needs to be retired until I am no longer huge, because it's not made for a big belly.

Again, "I Funny"

Family Pictures

We had the wonderful Darby take some family pictures for us a few weeks ago. As always I thought it was going to be a disaster because this time Jace is older and was running around like crazy. He seriously did not want to sit still. But, of coarse Darby managed to capture some adorable shots. There were a ton that I loved. Here are a few of my favs, and by a few I mean like 8 maybe, haha.

I was so happy she got some really cute ones of Jon and Jace together.

I want to get this one blown up big for my wall, I love it.

This is the face he does every time you ask to see his funny face.

I love his rosy little cheeks in this one, from running around.

This is when we first started and he was so mad at me for making him wear that jacket.

Jace has been totally loving his Dad lately and its absolutely adorable.

Time is flying by

Jon and I spent the last week at my sisters house watching her 4 kids while they were in Hawaii. The week went pretty dang good, thanks to her kids being basically angels for us. Besides the minor fighting between my almost 2 year old and her 4 year old, we had no other problems. Which I just laughed at most the time cuz it was so funny to watch them interact. It made me really excited to see my two boys interact and play together as they get older. During our week, Morgan had spirit week, which of coarse included crazy hair day. I decided to go big or go home, literally. She let me do this to her hair

She was even a good sport when we brushed it out
Friday night we took the kids to my parents to spend the weekend there until they got home, so Jon and I went on a much needed date, just the 2 of us. Things get hectic and you forget how much you love spending time with your spouse, at least I know we do. It was so nice to just talk through dinner about whatever, even though it usually ends up being about Jace or the baby on the way. Oh, and please take notice that I convinced Jon to shave and cut his hair. Ok, maybe he joined the reserves and had to cut and shave soon anyway, but either way he did it and he his freaking hott!
I made my first ornament wreath for my door. I think it turned out cute and adds some Christmas cheer to our lovely door.
Jace being cute with Mr. Snowman. Also side note, we are in the process of getting rid of the bottle. He only gets a bottle before bed and one when he wakes up. It's been about a week now and he is still asking for it throughout the day, but it's getting better.
About to give him kisses. Jace has been so much fun lately and his talking has exploded. He says everything and it's so fun.
