Valentine's Day Date Night, We had a gift card to The Keg, so we got a little dressed up and went to dinner and a movie. It was a much needed date night.

I had to throw some red on for Vday, cheesy I know

Britni and I at Lindsey's Bachelorette Party

And the wedding day begins. This was right before the ceremony we had to snap some shots of how cute Jace looked. Anyway, the wedding went great. I started doing hair at 10:30 am and pretty much did hair the rest of the afternoon. After 1 bride, 3 bridesmaids, a cute little flower girl I was done just in time to get myself dressed. Scroll down to the bottom to see some pics of the hairdos. I love doing updos so it was fun getting them all ready. Jace was pushed down the aisle by the flower girl in this adorable little basket on wheels. It was pretty much the cutest thing ever. I am sad we didn't get more pictures with all the family but I'm sure her photographer got more than enough, she was snapping away all night. Lindsey looked gorgeous, and we are all so happy for them. Now the adventure really begins with baby on the way. Congrats you two and we love you! I hope your day was amazing.

Please take notice of my husbands hideous mustache, that he purposely shaved just for the wedding. Ya, I was not a happy camper when he showed up like that, but all the guys seemed to think it was funny. Now in all their wedding pictures he will look like a creepster. Oh well, I guess since I forgot to cut his hair before the wedding, he was paying me back. Love you babe, even with the dang mustache.

Finally a post, but...

a post without pictures for now. Sorry for the major blog slacking but things have been way too busy to blog. I have lots of catching up to do so it may take me a few posts. For starters we moved out of my parents into our own place. It feels great to actually be a married couple again with Jonathan home and out of the Army. I started working again in a salon part time, which has been great. I am hoping to start picking up more but it takes time to rebuild a clientel. Jonathan watches Jace while I work and I have been amazed at how fast he jumped into Daddyhood. Jace has really warmed up to him and now loves to follow his dad around every where. So, basically with moving and unpacking and starting up work and David and Lindsey's wedding coming up on Saturday, we have been staying busy. Now I have a story to share.

Monday we went and picked up a washer and dryer we bought on craigslist. We get there and its the sweetest elderly couple who are selling us these emaculate Whirlpool frontloaders for 800. Seriously look like they had been used a few times. Sue (the wife) wanted a new set that were blue. Anyway, we show up unprepared for how heavy they would be. So, sweet Dan ( the 80 year old husband that is in better shape than most 30 year olds) heads to Uhaul with Jon to get a dauley. I stayed back and chatted with Sue about us and moving to our own place since Jon got out of the Army. Sue was getting a kick out of Jace. They were just genuine, kind people. We gave hugs as we left and Jon and I chatted in the car ride home how nice they were. Well, this morning we get an email from them that they forgot to give us something with the washer. I call Sue and Jon meets them at QT. They not only give us these mats she had to go on top of them to protect from scatches but they hand Jonathan a wad of cash. What? Ya, they gave us 300 dollars because they wanted to help put since we were a young couple just out of the Army, and starting up school. Of coarse Jon tried to refuse but they wouldn't allow it. Dan said his kids are all have their PHDs and don't need their help and they just are happy to help someone out. I couldn't believe it, I had to call and thank them and I will admit I was totally tearing up. Then Sue tells me she has some stuff out of her gorgeous house that she doesn't want before they move and I should come see if I want any of it. The crazy thing was, that both our cars had to go in the shop today and that will be a pretty penny, so this was a very appreciated act of kindness. Also, on a sidenote we got pulled over yesterday and he gave Jon a warning. Double nice. I love knowing there are amazing, kind people in the world still, who do things for complete strangers out of love. Sorry this is so long but I want to remember this.

I will post pictures soon I promise, maybe I will even get to Valentines Day pics.
