What we have been up to

We went to Safford for the weekend to celebrate at my cousin Melissa's wedding reception on Friday. I went up early to do her hair and makeup. She is such a good friend of mine and I love her to death. We are really happy for her and Chris. Kamala and I threw a shower for her the weekend before which was fun to just see everyone. We stayed for the 24th of July Pioneer Day Parade. A bunch of my little cousins were in the parade. Small towns are so much fun when it comes to stuff like this that you don't see in big towns.

Someone gave this to Jace at his blessing and I don't know who because I didn't see a card, but he loves it and has to sleep with it every night. He cuddles up to it and it's the cutest thing ever.

My first attempt working with fondant, I decided the fondant is cute but kinda a waste since it didn't taste very good. Scraping off the flower then took off lots of the frosting. But hey they looked cute.

Family Camping trip

We just got home from 5 days of camping with my family up by Greer. It was such a fun trip and a much needed vacation from the AZ heat. We only had a few mishaps such as Jace being sick half a day throwing up, the darn mosquito bites, and being frickin cold at night. With that being said we had some good card games, camp fires, yummy food, and just hanging out in the nice, cool weather.
