Well fam and friends I thought I would let ya all know Jonathan made it home safe to AZ last night. We had a little mishap of him coming into Terminal 4 when we all thought he was coming into Terminal 2. So, needless to say I sat at the gate waiting for a half an hour and then my mom called me and said he called from the payphone to say he was at Terminal 4 instead and was already waiting at baggage claim. I was so sad that he came out and was all alone but you know him and he was totally fine he just felt bad for me. Leah, Justin, Johnny, David, Jace and I rushed over to the other terminal and Leah and I with Jace hopped out of the car to find him. By this point I was so anxious to see him, I kept getting butterflies in my stomach. Then the second mishap of the night was his bag didn't make the flight so they put it on a red eye flight and will be delivering it to our house today. Cross your fingers that it actually makes it. All in all the only thing that matters is that he is home and we are loving every second of it. Pictures will come later when I feel like blogging this month of him being here. So, Merry Christmas to you all, I hope your's is filled with as much joy and happiness as ours will be.

Here Comes the Bride
Jaime's wedding was on Saturday and for those of you that weren't there, here is a peak into the wedding fun. It was a perfect night with lots of food, candy, dancing, laughing and even some crying, (the good kind of coarse). Jaime looked amazing, Leah did such a great job on her hair. We love you Jaime and are so happy for you and Michael, you guys are perfect for each other.

Jaime's Bachelorette Party
I started the night out with a few pictures of coarse to send to my husband who loves to get new pics to stay in the loop. Side note, this necklace is one of the fun crafts I have been experimenting with. It's a mixture of the rosette silk flowers and the singed silk flowers. They are fun and easy to make. If you want to learn to make them, come on over or email me for directions.
We all got dressed up in our black dresses and went to dinner at the Avalon in Scottsdale. It was so cute that they had menu's with Jaime's name and stuff on them for our party.

The whole gang and yes we are awkward in the front row trying to squat down for a bazillion pictures.

Halloween
We have been sick over here, and Jace and I like to pass it back and forth, so my plans for his costume didn't happen. But I had him wear his teddy bear outfit that I had from my sister. My sister Lacey and I couldn't decide what to be but we wanted to match. So, last minute we hit up thrift stores and decided she was going to be Cyndi Lauper and I would be one of her friends. Here is what we came up with.
This was right before our block Party on Wednesday. I was too sick to go but my parents took Jace. What a cutie.
Yes, check out my shorts, they were the hit of the party. I dragged these suckers out of the bottom of the jean bin at my parents house. They zipped on the side and were freaking awesome. And yes we were taking Glamour Shots.
This was at my sister Lori's Halloween bash they throw. More of the Glamour poses. The blazer is Gucci from Goodwill with shoulder pads and all. I was laughing when I saw it was Gucci.

After trick er treating with the kids we went to Leah and Justin's to sit by the fire and eat chili.

So, all in all Halloween was great and only would have been better if Daddy was home. Which by the way, he is now out of Iraq as of Sunday and chillin in Germany waiting for leave to start on Dec. 6Th so he can fly to AZ. He will be here until Jan. 14Th and then goes back to Germany to wrap it up over there to get out of the Army Feb.6Th. YAY, then home for good. We cannot wait and words can't even describe my excitement to see him in a month.

Lately
I whipped this board up in about 5 minutes with some extra scraps I had laying around. I probably won't keep this for me cuz it will make a cute gift for some one but I had to put pictures on it to get the feel for it.
Now this project was another quickie about 10 minutes start to finish. I had leftover sheet metal from our calendars we made and when I saw this I had to make one. I got the idea for this on http://tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com/, another one of my many craft queen blogs that I stalk. I made this in mind as a gift to have on hand but it turned out pretty dang cute I may have to keep it or make another one for me. I love having crafts made and ready for gifts when you need one.
My little man looking extra cute in his Sunday clothes
What a stud!
Happy guy with the remote of coarse, Sarah he loved the remote you got him and we took it every where and lost the dang thing. I will have to buy another one now cuz he loves to play with the remotes.
This is from this morning before church. He is now 9 months old and his growing too big too fast. His new favorite thing is to stand up like this on the furniture. He still is not crawling and just loves to roll every where. He has really developed an attitude and will throw little tantrums by throwing his head back and arching his back. It's pretty funny though. He loves food now especially big people food. He ate a whole cheese crisp the other day. He is saying mama all day now especially when he is crying for me to pick him up. Ya, cute at first but not so cute when he is so clingy now. He is getting his second tooth in on the top this time. It's on the same side as his bottom so it will look pretty funny. I love this little guy so much and can't wait for his Daddy to get home and get to know him.

Crafts and babies
The latest craft we have been working on is an adapted version of the "cookie sheet calendar"
found here at http://wonderfullywhimsy.blogspot.com/
Check out her blog she has a lot of cute ideas, especially if you love paper like I do. This project turned out to be a little more work than we expected, mainly because we decided to go all out. Luckily next time when I do another one of these babies I will have my new Klic-n-Kut die cutter that I just ordered (yes I am so excited about this). So these will be easy peasy. Stephanie's is almost done and looking super cute and Leah's is done but forgot to take picture's. 4 crafters and 3 babies is fun and crazy for sure. We bought all our frames to redo at DI and the metal sheets from Home Depot. If you want the dimensions for all the chip board pieces just email me at emilyandjdee@gmail.com and I can give them to you or go wonderfullywhimsy if you are making one on a cookie sheet.
