Christmas from Mom Anderson!

Thank goodness for Mother In-laws who know exactly what to get their favorite daughter in-law. I LOVED, LOVED my VS pj's and body spray and lets not forget the adorable booty PANTIES. I have been begging Jonathan to get me a pair of Army sweats since he took over the ones I stole from him. Now I don't need those and look much CUTER in my Victoria Secret sweats. Oh, and is the backgammon(SP?) from you guys as well. I love that game. My Dad and I used to play it all the time when I was younger. Now I can teach Jon how to play. Anyway, Thanks MOM and DAD for the awesome Christmas presents. You guys are the best and we miss you and love you so much!

Happy Birthday to me!

My sweet hubby knows me too well. For anyone who knows me too, You know that I am obsessed with Shirley Temple. I own the entire collection. I know it's odd for a grown woman to be obsessed with this, but it started when I was a little girl watching the movies with my Grandma (Nanny) at her house. Then I would go home and want to watch them at home with my mom. Ever since it's been like a thing I do when I am sad or depressed I pop in a Shirley Temple movie and think of my Nanny. Anyway, that is where the obsession came from and so for my birthday Jonathan replaced all my old collection which was all on Tape to DVDs. I was pretty impressed because he did all this online going through Amazon and hunting for the entire collection. It was a great birthday present and I love him so much. Tonight he is taking me to dinner and to top it off with a back massage from him. He gives the best massages and I told him not to buy me one cuz I am always disappointed that they are never as good as his. I have the best hubby in the world and am so happy to be back with him. The only other thing that would make my birthday better is if Leah was here, but since I can't have that I will settle for seeing you in a month.

and MORE!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, here are some pics of my tiny apartment that I promised my sis in law and Leah I would post. Please take note of the curtains I promised I would show. They are absolutely hideous and I love it. We can't take them down so we are stuck living in the 70's for now. The funny thing was my landlord had them especially put in for us and he thought they were spectacular, haha gotta love it. Also, Leah I posted a pick of me on my new bike just for you. Jon rode his bike to work this morning crazy kid. Anyway, our household goods came in yesterday and you can see by the photos I have unpacked and made some progress on making it feel like a home and not a motel. I still have work to do but it's coming along.

more pics

These are some of the many photo's from the Zugspitzplatz Peak, and I have no clue if that is how you spell it. It's the one I was talking about that is the tallest peak in Germany. I could not believe hoe long the lift ride was. I was even a little scared. For all you snowboard fans you would have been in heaven. It was pretty dang cold though. Even my teeth felt frozen.

Finally a new post

Okay this is going to take a long time since I haven't updated in forever. Our Internet still isn't working, but I am using Jon's friends right now. So here we go. First of all, let me clear up some rumors. Jonathan is not back in Iraq yet, and we won't know if he has to go back until 2008. He is leaving for leadership training on January 16th for a month. I have decided to go home for that month and will probably fly out around the 14th of Jan. I will stay there for the month he is gone and am excited to see everyone so soon, but sad to leave my husband yet again. Okay, here are some pics from last weekend. We went to Garmicsh which is in Southern Germany. The Olympics were held here one year and it is a huge snowboard and ski town. The highest peak in Germany is here and we took the lift to the top. It was so beautiful but cold up there. They have a museum and restaurant set inside the peak. It was so much fun. The army paid for our weekend and breakfast and dinners. It's called a marriage retreat. The lodge we stayed at is really nice. You would never even know it is military owned. Our household goods came yesterday and we got everything unpacked and the apartment is finally starting to feel like home. Well, here are some pics since we have been here. Love ya all,

These are pictures from our hike through the gorge. It was really cold and I couldn't feel my toes by the end but it was really fun.

New Car

Well, I finally have some good news. Jonathan and I had an eventful day yesterday. We bought a car, yea! It is a 92 bmw and is really cute and in excellent condition. The only problem is it's stick shift and I have no clue how to drive a car unless it's automatic. I know your thinking what the heck why did you buy it then. We walked forever yesterday trying to find a car that we liked and that was affordable. I swear like every single car that is not brand new is stick shift. I guess most the cars here are. And since we didn't want to spend the money for a new car Jonathan convinced me he would teach me. There is this empty fair grounds where he will teach me in the parking lot. Wish me luck I am quite nervous. Anyway, we were able to get inspections, insurance and registration all done yesterday, which is amazing for the army. So, last night we met the missionaries for dinner with Jon's friend Craig. It was great to be able to drive there and take the missionaries where they needed to go and after that we stopped and loaded up on water. Let me tell ya we were so happy to buy tons of water and drive it home instead of walking with water. I know this is a long post but bare with me. And my last piece of news is that our first shipment is being delivered to our house on Thursday and I couldn't be more excited. Okay, that's all for now I will post some pics of the new car and stuff once our internet is hooked up. Love ya all
