Mountains, rain, cool weather- "Here I Come"

So, Monday I leave for my famous family reunion in Nutrioso (sp?) at Sherwood Forest. I am so excited. A week off work in the mountains with all my wonderful family. Especially my frickin cute neices and nephews. We pretty much are going to play card games, scrabble and some other fun "mormon" activities such as scrapbooking, crafts, family softball and the list goes on and on. Best of all the weather is amazing. I know all you mesa pals are jealous. I guess I really can't complain though. Yesterday I talked to my husband in Iraq and he had according to him the worst day of his life. He had an 8 hour patrol in a HumV with broken air. Not to mention it was nearly 130 degrees outside. Needless to say he woke up that night with a severe bloody nose. Man sucks to be a soldier in Iraq. So glad I'm not there I could not survive. Anyway, that's all really.

Home Again!

I'm home from our trip to New Mexico. We had so much fun and the kids were so cute together. Here are some pics from our weekend getaway. Plus, I learned how to set my camera to black and white and sepia, so I was playin around with that.

Okay, I am in New Mexico visiting my sister and her family. My other sisters and her kids and I drove here together. Right now it is storming and we all just came inside after playing in the rain, riding bikes, playin some basketball and just relaxing in the nice cool weather. What a difference from Mesa. It sure is nice to get out of the retched heat.

Ok, this was so funny. We all were really tired so we decided we didn't have the energy to walk the strip, so we just drove it. We got bored and for some reason I just stuck my head out of the car and started making moaning sounds like I was going to puke. You should have seen everyones reaction. Guys were yelling stuff at me and giving me thumbs up. While girls were glaring at me with these disgusted faces. This one mom even pointed to me and told her daughter "See hunny that is what you don't do in Vegas". It was so hard not to laugh. We are so easily amused. The things you do for fun in Vegas when you don't drink or gamble, haha we are idiots I know!

Wow, I am finally coming home tomorrow. I have been in Vegas and then Utah all week. I have to post some pics from my trip. It was lots of fun but I'm ready to sleep in my own bed.
