Marianne has cleaned and organized her sewing room, because it is much pleasant to work there when all the goods are in place. She has been lately busy and decided to drink a cup of tea and eat a big sandwich as breakfast in her room.Marianne on järjestänyt ja siivoillut ompeluhuoneensa siistiksi, koska siellä on miellyttävämpi työskennellä silloin, kun tavarat ovat paikoillaan. There is a violet crocus and a bowl of sweets on the table. Crocuses are Marianne's favorite flowers. It is the purples that are the most beautiful.
There are white-and-yellow daffodils on the cabinet at the back.

The early part of the year has been very heavy because of the sad news. It is nice for everyone to cheer up their minds. It is the yellow flowers that bring the sun to the room.
Alkuvuosi on ollut hyvin raskas surullisten uutisten vuoksi. Kukilla on mukava piristää omaa mieltä. Juuri keltaiset kukat tuovat huoneeseen auringon.
