catch up!

first off doesn't this picture make you laugh! i LOVE IT! makes me smile every-time i see it!

but anyway so today i ditched school…call me a sinner but in my finance class my teacher talks about the stock market thee WHOLE time and doesn't teach a dang thing…and tonight clint and i are going to a dave ramsey thing that my uncle gave us tickets too and i wouldn't be back in time from school. so instead of doing homework and being productive, i decided to have a lazy day. (everyone needs one of those right?) well anyway...went through my pictures and saw what i hadn't blogged yet…here are a few!

we couldn't find a wash cloth! haha so clint grabbed a sock!! haha
the reason the food pictures are there is because i have recently been on a quest to find new recipes, and make them. i am sick of all the old stuff i.e. chicken, chicken, chicken! HAHA. so one of my goals is to make a new recipe every week! I have been doing pretty good, made some crepes, different roasts, indian fry bread, coasta vida creamy ranch (my personal fav), and my next recipe is going to be the costa vida pork! found this blog that was dedicated to making the costa vida pork, she even had a retired costa chef give her some pointers on how to make it better..so I AM GOING to try it. thinkin next week!:)

but anyway…updates around here are: emmee and alex moved and i am having withdrawals from bensen and them...school is getting harder as the semester progresses... clint is LOVING SCHOOL; even though its a tough schedule i can see that it is something he is going to love doing...work is work...trying to get some things rolling for my new creative adventure (wink, wink)..and stretching myself in the gospel arena.

I am taking institute this semester and part of the class is to set an "above and beyond goal" I AM SOOOO all about that, so i decided to relate my school major to the gospel. I am a business major with an emphasis in communication so the thought came to me to compile a book of talks given by byu professors, general authorities, the prophet, etc that talk about communication, then make it into a bound book. Something titled, "the lawlor way of communicating"

I think communication is a major key to this life. So much hurt, heartache and sorrow would subside if we could communicate better. It something that fascinates me. SO IF YOU HAVE any good ideas on talks that have been given PLEASE don't hesitate to comment! but anyway the most difficult thing i have been up too is trying to keep it all in BALANCE!!!
