spring is right around the corner!

what i love about this season is everyone seems to be a little happier, nicer and kinder! i can remember from last year up at Utah State when we would have days (like today in AZ) people would run outside with their blankets and frisbee's, excerise and soak up the sun!! it was wonderful! i am so grateful we have seasons (well kindof 3 in az...cold. warm. HOT lol) but can't wait to get my tan back, my skin is craving some sun. these are pictures from the summer and then pictures from this month. kinda out of control! haha but anyway! just thought i would get the spring fever rollin. this cute banner can be downloaded from this wonderful new website called...www.houseof3.com one of my good friends is one of the desginers! if you are wanting something fun to hang its a great project!

MY very first CAR!! :) WOOOO

WELL i can't believe it! i am an owner of a 2003 VW passat!!! WOOOOOOOO. it is in great condition, it gets great gas mileage, it is fast, was driven by an old lady haha and has alot of perks too!!! BUT i basically spent my entire saturday morning at a stinkin car dealership. but it was ALL worth it! i was like a little kid at christmas, opening the last best present!! when i was signing the papers my dad caught me grinning from ear to ear!! hahaha but. anyway brought it home and anna was so excited for me! she wanted to be in the pictures!! she was cracking me up!!

and if your wondering about the key chain...WELL it had the VW sign missing and it was driving me nuts, so i had to embellish it! haha and plus i was bored! :)

so there you have it! this growing up thing isn't half bad after all! haha (just kiddin) hope you all have a wonderful sunday!! since i am blogging at 1:30 am! sheesh!

happy valentines day!! :)

okay...so i gave these to clint for valentines day. pretty simple and fun to make! i'll i did was get a cheap frame, embellished it and put my favorite picture of us two in it!!

the card is super easy. my favorite technique of spray paint and a
mask!! :)


then i did these stinkin cute coupons (i can't take credit for them) but it is such a fun idea. they are just things like, "movie night, slow dance, dinner for two and dessert out" and then i gave him a new shirt!
i think he liked it!! :) haha. anyway first he gave me a box of chocolates and wrote me a poem!! haha it was very creative! but anyway he took me to the park we had some pizza and then my favortie was he sang to me on his guitar! probably one of my favorite things!! so sweet! then the BEST part is we watched a serious chick flick (i won't tell you which one though it might embarass him to much!! HAHAHA) the things guys do cuz they love you huh?!? haha.
it ended up a wonderful date!! so lucky to have someone do anything to make me happy!:) hope you all had a good valentines! oh happy presidents day too!! enjoy NO school baby!!!

anyway... little miss leah had her 1st birthday yesterday. She is the cutest thing. she has such a sweet countenance about her. such a beautiful personality full of spunk and serious attitude!! hahaha but. we talked, had Cathy's rum cake (DELICIOUS) and opened presents. she loved every bit of it! here are just some of my favorite pictures!!
can NOT believe how much time flies. it was just last year that i surprised rebecca and came down from utah to see leah a couple days old. I LOVE being an aunt! its a wonderful thing! i get to spoil them, brag about them and then at the end of the day send them home! hahahaha... my two favorite men!! :)

sheesh...what a weekend...

SO...my weekend: on friday clint and i went to the Phoenix Art Museum. it was cool, i really liked it. him. not so much. haha. we took the new light rail there and let me tell you. crowded, hot, and long! haha. i don't plan on riding it again anytime soon. but anyway. we went with clint's mission buddy and his wife so after the muesum we went back to there place and played sorry! haven't played that game in a very long time. ANYWAY. on SATURDAY i did 5 hours of accounting homework. what is that? FIVE HOURS!?!? i was so frustrated. LUCKLY my lovely sister is an accountant. so she was my life line the ENTIRE day. it was like the series of unfortunate events. it was acutally quite funny. My tests are all online and there timed. so after i did the 5 hours of homework i did the hour test. and my battery on my phone was already low. so as i am trying to explain this problem to rachel and my battery keeps beeping at me. i am like already freaking out. i was like, "RACHEL WE only got 5 mintues left" and i needed and answer like right than so she yells at me 100 ahhahahahhhahaha i thought it was so funny. so right after i answered the last question and hit submit. my phone died. oh man. this class is gonna be the death of me. but when its over i will be VERY thankful!

sunday was as wonderful as usual. full of the spirit. we had a women's fireside. our stake presidency is going to be released in march, so it was kinda like the last time that Pres. Molina would be able to address just the women of the stake. He talked about priortizing what is most important and not to feel like less of a women if we can't do it all. i know i struggle with that alot. i put alot on my plate and want it done to the best of my ablility. so it was a wonderful weekend and next weekend will be EVEN better!! :) hope everyone has a wonderful week!! :)

superbowl sunday!! :)

WELL even though the cardnials lost...it still was one of the most exciting games i have ever watched! AND to make the day even more cool...clint watched his first superbowl with my family! haha...well part of it anyhow! it was fun! hopefully we can actually win one of these days huh?

well..on a more spiritual note sunday was one of THEE best days. I got alot of personal insight and quickly remembered what was most important! i am so grateful for this gospel and what it offers me constantly. The Lord is always there for us, willing and waiting. All we have to do is knock, ask, and do! (sounds

simple right?) haha.

anyway its been one exciting weekend and can't wait for the next!
