Halloween 2013

Ella picked her own costume for the first time this year! She chose to be a kitty, and boy is she the cutest kitty I ever did see! We were all very excited for Halloween this year as Ella is at such a fun age, but unfortunately, Ella came down with an ear infection and was feeling lousy on Halloween. We knew something was wrong because she had been so ready to trick or treat, but the night of, she only wanted to go to one house and then she sat on the couch looking sad, and she was very quiet which is out of character for her. What a big disappointment! At least she received a little candy and got to wear her kitty costume.

Pumpkin Patch 2013

The Malecutts started fall off right with a trip to the Pumpkin Patch! We went to Uncle Ray's again which is out in the country, just passed Natomas. It's a quaint, friendly place with no admission charge and inexpensive pumpkins, plus a free tractor ride. Last year, Ella wasn't old enough to brave the tractor, but this year she was up for it! She still does not like mazes, however.
