some random thoughts

i'm rather lazy to post photos of the last few days, so just decided to write a little.

i realised i didn't mention interesting that i encountered here in cph. the very first day that i reached, i joined wanjou and elaine on some tour that someone in their residence organised for them. we were walking along the canal when someone just came out of the canal NAKED. as in really not wearing any clothes at all!

i wouldn't say i was damn shocked, this is europe after all, i was more amused actually. there were SOO many people on both sides of the canal, and he just had to climb out when we walked past. interesting, but it's quite gross also.

having a fridge in the room is so addictive. i keep buying stuff just to put them into the fridge. now my fridge has a tub of ice cream, yoghurt drink, strawberries, eggs, cheese, apple juice, milk and other stuff belonging to the rest. we haven't even tried coming up with a meal ourselves.

one meal here typically costs slightly less than $10. no wonder vivien kept saying it's very expensive here, it indeed is.

and lessons have already started, it was so boring today i was playing solitaire during the last 1/3 of the lesson. i'm alone during tmr's class, lets hope he doesnt do much. i can't get used to 3 hrs lesson while still in a holiday mood.

and...we have planned to go malmo and stockholm (both in sweden) this weekend! it's so shuang cos you plan holidays and you can just leave like that. we haven't exactly planned what to do and where to go there, but i think it'll be a great time. travelling always is, i suppose. time to take loads of photos!=)

now you know why i dun have the mood to study at all huh.=P

OMG LONDON!=)

in my entire life, i always wondered when i would be able to come to this part of the world. have heard so many people going to london, and everywhere in the world, but i just thought, aiya i won't ever be there. so thanks to summer program, i've decided to come out of y comfort zone, and explore this part of the world that is so unfamiliar to me.

and so here i am in london. luckily jun was around to bring me to all the nice places albeit a bit rushed for every place. but neverthless, it was a great experience. it was my first time also travelling overseas alone, and walking on the streets of london alone. the weather was so good, though it gets a little chilly at night.

shall let the photos do the talking instead.
heathrow airport!=) after like 13 hours of flight...

the scenery was just so beautiful (sorry you can't see much here)

my cousin's restaurant at london!=) had two of my dinners at the restaurant!=)

ok that's it. london was kind of a dream come true for me. i always told jun i wouldn't be able to meet her at london cos i had no money, but alas i was there.

one full week has passed from the day i left singapore. everything has been so great (yes including getting lost ALONE). i suppose you really learn a lot when you're alone overseas (meaning without family lar) cos it's time you really learn to be independent. time for me to really step out of my comfort zone.
