IHH #8

IHH is back by popular demand.. Again it's not always heart-wrenching, gut-spilling posts. But can also totally be his idiotic self.
So, last night we were getting ready to sleep, then IH's started to move his hand towards my thighs. Then he said "What is this???" (while pulling on my pants). I said "pants".  Then he said, " What kind of pants is this? it's never-ending!!!). I replied, "Long pants".  IH: What material is it? it feels like a net. (my IH's hands are so coarse i think any materials feel like a net to him). Me: It's regular pants.  IH: what? so I can't tear it?  Me: (Smack him in the head). AND WE GO TO SLEEP!! Just in case you're thinking there's more to this story.. hahahaha

A New Beginning

Oh,wow!!! Yes, it's been ages. If people read my last entry on 2010, they probably think I'm dead. So, to clear things up, No, I'm not writing this from the netherworld. I'm still very much alive. A lot has happened since my last entry. I have fallen in love with yoga, met a lot of new friends, been to a couple of new places, went thru depression and managed to pull myself out (Yes, I AM that good). So, now I think I might start writing again. You might notice some changes in my life, but don't worry, it's for the better. I'm hoping I can still fill people in on my IHH entry (have to check what number was my last IHH entry). No worries, living with one usually gives me a lot of materials.  For today I'm just going to keep things short and simple.  I'm hoping to be able to write more.  It seems like I'm pretty funny ( yes, I re-read some of me entries, and I'm not ashamed to admit that, yay!!!). Stay tuned!!! Peace out!

Watermania, Picnic and Visit Sharon

I promised Ava that I'll take her swimming, so we went at 10am. On our way in, I saw a sign saying "wave pool cooler than usual" (uh oh!!). So, the kids were of course very excited. We changed and walked into the wave pool. IT WAS FREAKIN FREEZING!!! I was so cold, but Ava and Colin seemed to have a different temperature tolerant than Simon and I. They just jumped right in, while us old folks were trembling and tried to stay as dry as possible. Simon then cheated and walked over to the hot tub (I hate him!!). I was left there with 2 kids in the freezing cold water. Simon then tried to lure the kids into the hottub, but first thing they said when they touched the water was "HOT HOT HOT, IT'S TOO HOT".. (WHAT??? Are you guys crazy??? )

Anyways, his attempt in luring them was a failure. I stayed in the water as long as I can, and I guessed Simon felt bad for me, so he got off the hot tub and was going to join us, but he was too coward (and of course coming from the hot tub, the water in the wave pool seemed even colder).

So I took the opportunity when he was lingering at the outside of the wave pool to jump into the hot tub. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice!!
But then, I felt kinda guilty because Ava wanted to play in the water but her dad refused to go in. So I climbed out of the hot tub and immersed myself (seriously!! I should get a medal) into the freakin cold water. Then the wave came on, so I pushed Ava to the middle and she was having fun. But it was definitely too cold to stay in too long, so we managed to persuade the kids to leave the pool.


After pool, we went to Garry Point Park to meet up with the gang for picnic. When we got there, it was so windy that we're kinda in a dilemma if we should continue on or call it off. At last, the sun took pity on us and our car full of food. It shined on us. We got to continue on with picnic and the kids had a blast!! They were buiding sand castle, chasing each other, building some kind of fort (with Edwin's help). The parents of course, just hanged out, and played frisbee and ate!!

After picnic, we decided to drop by Sharon's house to see Isabelle (and Sharon.. ooppss!!).
Then, dinner at Sunway and we parted ways back home. What a great day!!

Easter Egg Hunt

We're invited to Christy's house for an easter egg hunt party. Ava and Colin were both ready for the action. I got them 2 small bags so they can put their eggs in. We arrived around 10am at Christy's house. The hunt started after all the guests arrived.

The kids were waiting impatiently in front of the door while looking at all the colorful eggs that were scattered throughout the backyard. Good Job Eric!!
Once the door's opened, hell was let loose. The kids were outside picking up the eggs. Ava and Colin filled theirs pretty soon and Ava was asking for a bigger bag. (Oooppss!!)

Welcome Isabelle!!

Sharon gave birth on the 25th of March at early early morning. The Cheungs welcome Isabelle into the family. Elisa, Serene, Carolyn and I decided to pay a visit to Sharon at the hospital on the 26th. Imagine these parades of strollers and kids to Richmond General Hospital. It was surprising they let us all passed and into the room. :)

Sharon looked good and Isabelle was just beautiful. She was small but very alert. What a sweet healthy baby.

Congrats Sharon, Stephen and Annabelle with the new addition to your family.

Driving to Port Moody

Since it's Ava's spring break, I decided to drive to Port Moody for the first time ever.. HAHAHA
Elisa has invited us to go to her house for playdate and lunch. I managed to drag HL and Jenny with me since I do need a navigator.

So, loaded up the kids and the sis in law and off we went.
The weather was beautiful. The kids were playing inside and then after lunch we all went outside. Elisa was clicking away with her camera and of course I was clicking away in my high heels.. HAHAHAHA..

We stayed till 3-ish and then went back home. It was a success!!!!

P.S. I should be able to drive to Port Moody by myself now.. i hope.. if i don't forget the route.. ;p
