Trick- or -Treating at the Arboretum

Last night we went to the arboretum with our friends the Russell's. Elle had been looking forward to this all week! She is so ready for Halloween. She got dolled up in her Alice in Wonderland costume and we got Beck in his precious sock monkey get up. We had a great time with our friends and watching the kids trick or treat.

11 months

11 MONTHS! Wow, we are one month away from having a one year old. Invites are in the mail for your one year celebration big boy!
You are such a joy sweet Beck. You make our days so fun and interesting. You are on the move and trying to walk. It hasn't happened yet but I bet it does this month. You are babbling a ton but not saying many new words. You do say "Duh" for dog.
You are loving books. You can not settle down before naps or bedtime without reading a couple of your favorites. You love animal books and always giggle when there is a picture of a dog. You also can spend 10 minutes or so flipping through them before moving on to crawling around the house every morning.
You are eating so well and liking most foods. You are not a fan of broccoli :) You are still drinking from a bottle and like to drink water from sisters sippy cups. You don't like the ones I got for you.
You are into EVERYTHING! You are always bumping your head on something or falling off of something. You have lots of bumps and bruises. You busted your lip a couple of weeks ago from falling off of sisters chair head first. Anytime I tell you "no" you shake your head no and smile. Stinker!
If I ask you if you want a certain food or if you want to eat you nod your head yes. You are understanding so much! It amazes me.
You love music and dance and yell while listening to it in the car. I think Elle has taught you this one.
There was a stretch recently where you were waking up every morning at 5:30. Talk about a tired mommy and daddy. Finally this week you started sleeping till 6:30. Hopefully we will make it to 7:30 soon!
We have been walking a lot since the weather is so nice. You love to sit next to your sister in the stroller and play. I love how sweet you are together and how much fun you have. Speaking of fun, you two are a mess in the bath! You splash and yell. It is a riot and quite a mess!
We love you Bubbers!!

You are taking steps but have not conquered walking yet. That's okay with me little man! Take your time.Nap time starts with playing in Elle's bed. She is rough with you but you hang in there!

Playing with sister is your favorite thing to do. You two are so silly together!
You are very into books these days. We find you in your room "reading" alone. It is pretty cute! I love how Elle is in her doll bed in the background :)
You have 5 teeth now!

If we are ever wondering where you are, we can usually find you in sisters chair in her room.
Loving the curls you have after bath time.

Texas State Fair

Miles and I recently celebrated 10 years of marriage. It sounds so strange to say that! We have been through so much in those 10 years. Traveling with baseball teams, living and working in Jackson Hole, attending Colorado State University, moving back to Texas, having babies, and starting our own business. There is no one else I would have done these things with! I look forward to 60 more years together :)
We celebrated by going to Mexico without the kiddos. It was much needed and such a long time coming. We had an amazing time! I can not wait till our next solo getaway!

Elle last year at the fair

This year walking in with daddy
Our first ride
Sweet Bubbers watching
Fun on the carousel with daddy
Loved riding alone
