Little Ballerina

Elle took ballet camp last week with her friends Kennedy and Olivia. It was such a fun experience for her! She looked forward to it everyday. I am so excited for her do it once a week this fall. Here is a little video of part of her performance. Excuse the blurry, bouncy video! I had it on the wrong setting.

8 months..a little late

You are 8 months old Bubbers! I am a little behind this month but at least I got this posted before you turned nine months. How time flies buddy! I am having a hard time remembering what you were like as a little bitty baby. So sad! There is a lot I don't miss about those days but I still get a little sentimental when I think back and remember all the time we spent together. You are on the move now and want to be in the middle of all of the action. You have been crawling for a while now and are so stinkin' fast! You are in to EVERYTHING! This is new to mommy and daddy! Elle never got into anything so we have no idea what it means to baby proof :) You get in the dog bowls several times a day. It has become a little game to you. You like me to chase you! You stand up by holding onto the knobs on the kitchen cabinets and gnaw on them. You are also a climber! I have found you on top of the play room bins many times as well as on Elle's big girl chair. You have taken several tumbles and get very upset when this happens. You are much more sensitive than Elle ever was. My sweet boy!
You love Nash and follow him around the house. He is not a huge fan of this but I think he is warming up to you.
Whatever Elle has, you want! You will drop whatever you are doing and go for the toy she has. This makes her a little grumpy! But, she is getting used to the idea that you can get around now so she plays up high on tables or furniture where you can't get to her.
It has been so fun watching the two of you interact. You play most of theday together. Elle has lots of fun "games" she has made up with you. Most entail you chasing her and being the "monster." You kindly oblige her. We also play hide-n-seek. She counts and I hide you. It is pretty hysterical to see you waiting quietly in the hamper or half way under her covers. You love it when she finds you!
You have two teeth now. They didn't give you too much trouble. They sure make you look older and super adorable.
You laugh and smile all day long. It truly amazes me how happy you are. You have such a sweet spirit my love!
You have been to the church daycare 4 times now and done amazing. Daddy and I like to spy on you. You are usually crawling all over the other babies and steeling their toys when we peak in on you :)
You are eating really well. You eat solids twice a day and have a little snack in the afternoon. You like the yogurt bites and baby mum mums now. You are not a fan of cheerios or puffs yet. You are getting better at eating more "lumpy" foods but prefer the nice, smooth stuff.
You are sleeping great! You go to bed most nights at 6:30 and sleep till 6:30-7. I love my time with you in the mornings before anyone else is up.
You LOVE LOVE LOVE your daddy. I think we have another daddy's kiddo on our hands! But, I love it that you are so happy to see him everyday. You just light up when he walks in the door.
You say "dadada" all of the time and have said "mama" a couple of times. You just started saying "bababa" last week.
You are a whopping 19 lbs!! Big boy!
You love your baths and have a certain squeal you use only when bathing. It sounds kind of like a growl/dinosaur roar. It is quite funny!
We love you to pieces Beck and can not picture life without you. I would say we are very complete! XXOO

This picture captures Elle so well! She loves to feed Beck!

I love this crooked smile! Chasing his ball.
