Christmas in Abilene

We went to Abilene the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with my dad and Marsha. Everyone was able to come, so that made it that much more fun! Elle loved playing with her cousins. They are at such a great age to play together. Emery will be right there with them in no time. She is walking all over the place and has the cutest personality!
Dave took pics for us while we were there. We are so thankful for his talent! He never disappoints!

Happy 1 month

Happy one month my little man! I am so in love with you. You and I really have quite a thing going :) You love to be held ALL of the time but we are working on that. Not that I mind...I just have to get things done from time to time. Your sister loves you lots too and kisses you all throughout the day. She doesn't like to hear you cry and tells me "pick Beck up mommy!" You had your first picnic at the park with me and sister today. It was a beautiful day! You looked all around at the trees and seemed very content. I look forward to lots more fun days with you and your sister!
You sleep for 4 hours straight at night and I am so thankful. Funny that is enough sleep when you are a mom! You are starting to make more noises which is pretty precious. You take at least one nap in your crib now. I get a little break when you and sister are napping in the afternoon. You conk out immediately when in the car. Speaking of, you had your first road trip to Abilene last weekend and did amazing! You slept the entire way there!

We love you so much and can not believe you are already a month old. I can tell your first year is going to fly by! I am going to try and soak it all in.
