This past week I did a fun Valentine photo session with the girls. I think Valentine pictures are some of my favorite to take and every year I seem to get some of the best pictures of Savannah from these sessions. It must have something to do with the giant heart shaped lollipop she knows she is going to get. :) I have a stash of these from the $1 bin at Target. They seem to have them every year. Had to let Sarah Beth play with one to make the picture of the 2 of them complete. I left the paper on hers and by the time we were done, she had bitten a hole in the package and was sucking sugar out of the side. She was not ready to let go of that treasure! I have a bunch of favorite shots, but here are a few.
I printed the picture of the 2 of them as a 3"x4" (2 on a 4x6) for them to give to friends and family. Made for a quick and easy Valentine and was still cheaper than buying a box of the cheesy trading cards.
Just for fun. Here is a look at how Savannah has changed over the past 3 years. I can't believe how much she has grown and that she is quickly approaching 4 yrs old.

11 Months
You have grown and developed so much, but I still can't believe it is less than a month before your 1st birthday! We have had a busy and life changing month during your 10th month.
This month...
--We finished packing up everything in Madison.
--We moved from Madison back to Birmingham. (1/22)
--You seemed to transition well into your new house and were ready to explore every corner.
--You discovered you could open the kitchen cabinets and climb in when I wasn't watching.
--You starting going to bible class at church.
--You cruised around everything. You would occasionally stand alone when you didn't realize you weren't holding on.
--You started eating more table food than baby food. You mostly ate cheese, bread, pieces of chicken, peas, beans, raisins, dry cereal, yogurt, macaroni and cheese, fruit pieces, applesauce.
--You started drinking water from a Nuby sippy cup.
--You enjoyed playing with Savannah and being around other kids.
--You started taking more regular morning and afternoon naps and in your crib once we moved into the new house. You still will nap while riding in the car.
--We made our first family trip to DisneyWorld. You did well with the whole trip and with the experience. You got just as excited about seeing the characters as Savannah did. You learned to "kiss" the characters and were attracted to their noses. You really seemed to like Mickey, Minnie, and Tigger. You may have even learned to say "Mickey".
--You learned to wave while watching the characters in the Disney parades.
--You have gotten more verbal and will jabber while playing.
--During our week at Disney you started weaning yourself down to 2-3 nursings a day.
--Wore size 3 diapers, 6-9 and 6-12 month clothes. Size 2 shoe.
