The other day, my sister called asking me for tips on cooking some Japanese curry for her family that night. I told her I would send some of my favorite Japanese videos from vimeo/youtube to her. It made me nostalgic to watch this one. Man, I love that country - I was so lucky to live there for two years. Japan is full of the most amazing, beautiful, weird, and interesting people/culture. I can't believe I haven't taken Julie there yet (not to mention the fact that I have been home for 8 years). Someday soon...
This guy captured Japan well in this video:
Tokyo HD "Echoes" - Canon 5D II, Sony A65, Glidecam, Timelapse from Blue Eden on Vimeo.
And this really happens. Maybe we should hire some people like this in busy US subways to stimulate the economy.
Want to go to Japan?
and FYI - hisashiburi is the Japanese equivalent of "long time, no see"
If you want to be dazzled, watch a few of these time lapse videos. Here's a cool landscape one.
